Manmohan Singh talking through his Punjabi arse.

.
The previous blog was written last night, and is not a reaction to the article from the Times of India read by me and posted below this morning. I have previously supported the idea of a BJP/coalition government in 2014,...... before so its not new based on ManMohan Singh talking through his arse, and publicizing it on his website.

We ALL have our prejudices, and false perceptions of things we no nothing about but never shy away from expressing our views....after all GOSSIP is one of the foundations of civilization. We talk bullshit on Saturday nights with our friends over dinner on all subjects, or with our colleagues in the office, or with our friends at the bar/cafe.

Or blog if the above simple luxuries of life are unavailable to us.

No harm done, everybody has a point of view and opinion and they express them.

However if a person expressing such casual off the cuff comments are made by a serving Prime Minister, of INDIA, who then goes on to post these comments on his official website then it is not mere casual asides, BUT STATE POLICY and belief that is being stated, and THUS given the delicacy of state craft such comments should not be made casually, but should be carefully frame worked and thought through for their consequences.

Bangladeshis are an Indo-Burmese people, who on the whole don't take their religion seriously........for them the regional identity of being Bengali is more important than their Arab religion.

The Bengali Muslim leadership were a reluctant party to the creation of East Pakistan; Sarwardy didn't go to Dhaka immediately after independence, whilst the newly created East Pakistan administration was headed by a British Civil Servant for the first couple of years (To solidify the British Raj creation of Pakistan through the Muslim League......which itself was created by Lord Curzon from 1905 in Dhaka...i.e divide and Rule policy...Jinnah as with other "Freedom" leaders was a British agent).

Then came the Bengali language movement which wanted Bengali to be given equal status with Urdu within Pakistan from 1950, and the Liberation War of 1971 where 3,000,000 Bangladeshis died, 500,000 women raped...and the general destruction of the country by the Pakistani military and their Islamist proxies, al-Badr, Razakars etc.

Islamist parties in Bangladesh don't win more than 2 seats out of the 300 plus constituencies in the national assemblies normally, accept during Khalida Zia's patronage and term (2001--2006)....they then won a few more seats than normally. In the 2008 elections Islamist parties were wiped out electorally, with the Awami League winning a landslide victory. The nation quite obviously were fed up with the BNP's right-wing decisive policies, and rejected them lawfully at the polls ...AND gave a clear mandate to the Awami League to represent the nation.......INDIA should have seized the historic opportunity to help the Awami League administration, and the people of Bangladesh, BUT as yet save the $1 billion credit loan, hasn't. Throwing money at Bangladesh is not enough, but what we need is a LONG LASTING DEEP RELATIONSHIP which binds the two countries for ever through FTA's, yearly aid and extensive security cooperation.

It is a deep, deep, deep affront given the history of Bangladesh what ManMohan Singh said. It is as bad as when Punjabi Singh Aurora and his Jewish sidekick General Jack Jacob refused to allow one single Bangladeshi freedom Fighter/Awami leader to attend the surrender signing ceremony of Niazi and the Pakistan Eastern command........or the destructive destabilization of Bangladesh by India between 1975--1996....2001---2008 (al la Sri Lanka). India can be a great power, but its got to think big, and strategically like China...and move away from its Harijan Coolie kuta mentality.

OBVIOUSLY the PM's being BRIEFED, by somebody within the Indian state and being fed the wrong information......and the PM taking such information as gospel truth. I have a little experience with the state and especially intelligence services from around the world...UK/Germany and banana republic spooks. One of the functions of Intelligence Agencies is to "Over Egg the pudding" when they talk about threats and various scenarios.....this is what I wrote about in my final year law degree dissertation, "The relationship between the state, security services and the law".....Spooks lie more often then not, that's part of their job....lying professionally whilst seeming poker faced convincing, since through lying they hope to increase their importance and usefulness to the state which they purportedly serve.....MORE MONEY, MORE FUNDS, MORE ACTIVITY.

My suggestion to ManMohan Singh is next time a spook whispers, "Aliens from Mars have landed in India".....he should take a deep breath and keep such "classified" information to himself, rather then sharing such conjecture with the rest of the world...which makes him look foolish, naive and ends up offending a lot of people.

I am not suggesting anything here.

Indian envoy summoned in Dhaka over PM's 'gaffe'

of the TOI

Rajit Mitter, India's High Commissioner to Bangladesh, has been summoned by the government in Dhaka to explain Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's remarks against Bangladeshis earlier this week. The prime minister's office posted a transcript of the PM's meeting with editors earlier this week, where the PMO quoted him saying, "we must reckon that at least 25% of the population of Bangladesh swear by the Jamaat-ul-Islami and they are very anti-Indian, and they are in the clutches, many times, of the ISI (of Pakistan)."

(25% of the population of Bangladesh are Jamaat-ul-Islami???? Then LOGICALLY that must mean they have about 75 of the seats in the Bangladeshi parliament of 300 constituency seats right?...........but in REALITY its only 2. This is simple information from Wikipedia which can be verified by visiting Bangladeshi websites, not some hot shot confidential intelligence source. Where does the Oxbridge educated Macaulay Brown Sahib Singh get his intelligence sources and logic from?

From an Indian strategic point of view is it not better to focus on the 75% of Bangladeshis (according to Singh's intelligence dossier) who MAY be predisposed to being on good terms with INDIA, rather than focus negatively on the mysterious 25% who aren't.

The JEWSA controls Pakistan, arms it's military and funds and directs the ISI......the control is to such an extent that the JEWSA is fully confident in telling the Pak PPP government to fuck off publicly. But does this "minutiae fact"---sarcasm intended .....prevent ManMohan Singh wax lyrical about the beauty of the JEWSA, and how beneficial the JEWSA is to India.

The UK created Pakistan, created the ISI...and has a strong record of using Islamist to destabilize various countries (the topic of which this blog has covered....LIBYA as it is unfolding now). London has played host to a colorful array of Islamists who have advertised their wares and ideology at the British public's expense extensively over many decades.......the British created the Muslim League in India to counter Congress, and created the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in the 1920's. ....
But does this "minutiae fact"---sarcasm intended .....prevent ManMohan Singh wax lyrical about the beauty of the UK, and how beneficial the UK is to India......inviting Baroness Camilla Parker Bowles to open the British Empire Commonwealth Games.

The thing is it all boils down to the Harijan Coolie Kuta mentality, of bowing low enough for/to gora Sahib and providing no space or quarter to your own kind.

There are extremists in India, there are extremists in Israel, there are extremists in Canada where a lot of Neo-Nazi and pedophile literature comes from......but the issue is not that most societies of 200 countries have a certain uncertain quantum of extremists, BUT what exactly are the state policies when translated into action/deed and whether such state policies are ACTUALLY dictated by the religious extremists in their country. In India the RSS does not dictate policy, save for the possibility when the BJP comes to power....or that certain Indian Congress ministers might be pre-disposed to certain selective RSS agenda's.......ditto Bangladesh save for the BNP government who had Islamists in the cabinet......ditto Canada which has a very pro-Israel government...and hopefully not Israel.

As stated above if the JEWSA controls Pakistan, and funds the ISI, then strategically I'd be wary of the JEWSA with its 800 military bases around the world, Its globalist Jewish hegemonic military posture, and its unofficial security budget of $1.5 trillion (Chalmers Johnson).....and its activities in Afghanistan, along with the 10,000 British neo-colonial troops there, harvesting vast quantities of Heroin, a lot of which trickles to India via Pakistan...into Punjab...what is the drug addiction rate in the state? With Bangladesh LOGICALLY India would want to bring it under its CONTROL through a mixture of sound policies previously stated on this blog, taking advantage of a pro-India government in Dhaka which has won a landslide mandate from its people .....................and not fretting about the negative aspects of that country. We can find negative aspects of every country including Switzerland, but thats pointless in furthering the REAL LONG TERM strategic goals of India in South Asia, in her own basic back yard.........before she becomes a "Great Power")

The prime minister's publicized remarks on Bangladesh have not only embarrassed India and the PM personally, but created a storm in the neighboring country. Its timing could not have been worse. Foreign minister S M Krishna is expected to visit Dhaka from July 6 to 8, and sources said he can expect some tough questioning there. Krishna's visit is expected to prepare for Singh's trip to Dhaka later this year.

(Singh has not visited Pakistan, Bangladesh or Sri Lanka...but has been to Afghanistan, Bhutan and Nepal????? Obviously his foreign policy has a lot to be desired)

The MEA put out an apology against the gaffe. The spokesperson, clarifying that the remarks "we're not intended to be judgmental" said, "Prime Minister and his Government and the people of India have the greatest affection for the people of Bangladesh and hold our relations with Bangladesh to be of the highest importance."

Reports from Bangladesh said former foreign minister in the Begum Khalida Zia government, Morshed Khan, was leading the political protests against Singh's comments. He was quoted as saying, "such comments from a person like Manmohan Singh is frustrating for Bangladesh".

(Such loose talk help the Islamists, and harm the Awami League pro-India government......well done ManMohan Singh!)

The PMO took over 30 hours to notice the gaffe on Bangladesh, and remove it from its website.

The MEA said, "India recognizes the stability of the democratically elected Government and is committed to the non-interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states."

The Awami League government in Dhaka was trying to put a brave face on it, but sources said this masked a deep feeling of dejection. The regime has been very sympathetic to New Delhi's concerns about the insurgents from India's northeast operating from within Bangladesh territory and has often been attacked by domestic opponents for not holding its own in dealings with the bigger neighbor.

Bangladesh's Jamaat-e-Islami on Friday condemned Singh's remarks, where he had said the JI drew its inspiration and directions from Pakistan's ISI. "The comment of Indian premier that Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami is anti-Indian, and acts in accordance with advice of the ISI is false, baseless and it does not go with the status of the premier," said the party's acting secretary general A T M Azharul Islam in a statement. Jamaat said it wanted a good relationship with India maintaining Bangladesh's sovereignty and interests.

The diplomatic gaffe is troublesome for India in different ways, say highly placed government sources. Remarks like this play into the hands of Pakistan and China. Beijing, for instance, takes advantage of India's stinginess on market access to open up its own markets to Bangladeshi goods. The PM's remarks comes at a time when the bilateral relationship is being seen as rocky, largely because India is being seen to be stingy with an least developed nation neighbour like Bangladesh. Certainly, on issues like market access or tariff rates, India is seen as less than forthcoming, doling out tiny goodies like garment imports. Former diplomat Ronen Sen observed, "We should not make half-hearted gestures. For instance in the area of trade, we should grant them duty-free access completely. It will be a small fraction of our imports."

(FTA between the two countries as with ASEAN)

The PM was equally candid about Sri Lanka, Pakistan and China, none of which have been removed from the website. On Sri Lanka, the PM not only dwelt on the "reality" of Sinhala chauvinism, but also said, "Tamil problem does not disappear with the defeat of the LTTE. The Tamil population has legitimate grievances. They feel they have been reduced over the years to second-class citizens. And our emphasis has been to persuade the Sri Lankan government that we must move towards a new system of institutional reforms, where the Tamil people will have a feeling that they are equal citizens of Sri Lanka, and they can lead and live a life of dignity and self-respect. It is not easy because within Sri Lanka's population, there are hotheads..."

Showing he was no political babe-in-the-woods, Singh was more than gracious to Jayalalithaa, the new Tamil Nadu CM. By saying she "understood" his compulsions; the PM was also subtly drawing a distinction with her predecessor, Karunanidhi, whose government needed a lot of hand-holding on the Lankan issue.

Singh also took potshots at China's economic figures openly. It's a fact that Indian economists have believed that China fudges some of their figures, but it's unusual for the PM to say it openly. About the `exaggerated' economic figures put out by Beijing, he said, "The Chinese system is opaque. They have a very small visible fiscal deficit. But there are reports that the banking system is financing their infrastructure out of their non-performing assets which is leading to debts."

(Not having the benefits of an Economics background, one can confidently say that China is doing better than India, if one simply visits both countries....the Magnificence of Hong Kong, Shanghai and Beijing AND the filth and squalor of Mumbai, Calcutta and Delhi in comparison. One doesn't have to be an Amartya Sen to see the sheer difference in the quality of life, cleanliness and infrastructure between the two countries.

Yes, governments massage their statistics, BUT by only so much......thus Vietnam can't claim to be the biggest exporter in the world, its CHINA

CHINA produces over 650 million tons of steel, not Brazil.

CHINA produces 4500 billion
kWh of electricity, not Iraq.

CHINA consumes 10 billion barrels of oil a day, not Afghanistan.

These open sourced statistics tell us certain things about China without the requirement for Ph.D's in Economics from Oxbridge.

Further given these facts and other factors many economists, including Indians within the TOI believe China is already the largest economy on earth, given that the USA in reality is a debt ridden paper speculative economy.

I am not in favor of juvenile knit picking of neighbor countries and express puerile pathetic envy at their success, as expressed by Indian Prime minister Singh with China. That is not what they are paid to do. They are elected by the public to seriously and strategically move the nation forward. )

All these comments, of course, remain on the website.
