Long way to go towards true development for ALL.

.
.
.
.
The Congress Party, save for Nehru has never really worked to alleviate the poverty of the masses, but has never been shy of paying lip service to such a professed profound central cause of the party. In reality the Congress leadership are Anglophone jet setters with Swiss bank accounts, and children educated in foreign Western countries. There is no emotional attachment to the country they serve........whilst a few work for Western Intelligence........Chidambaram? Sonia, Rahul....and a few others.

The country is a mess, and you don't have to be a economics professor to see it.

The government doesn't really run the country, as it is a minor player....where their budget accounts for barely 13% of the actual GDP of $4 trillion, and one wonders to what extent people in the country follow government regulations.

Since 1991 India has adopted a globalist neo-liberal model of development from the USA, which has created some wealth, a sizable middle class and 69 billionaires who build $2 billion houses, and loot MORE money from the country into Swiss accounts.

I would like to see India (whole of South Asia) adopt highly effective strict birth control programs (as China)......India has shown that it is incapable of realistically alleviating poverty for significant sections of its population, and may never do so. No amount of miracles will EVER bring an efficient government to India. Then less lives will come into this world in such sorry states, such as they are/do in India.

And this nation gives aid to Africa!

India’s Stingy Poverty Definition Irks Critics

By MUNEEZA NAVI via therearenosunglasses.com

Every day, through scorching summers and chilly winters, Himmat pedals his bicycle rickshaw through New Delhi’s crowded streets, earning barely enough to feed his family. But to India’s government he is not poor – not even close.

The 5,000 rupees ($110) he earns a month pays for a tiny room with a single light bulb and no running water for his family of four. After buying just enough food to keep his family from starving, there is nothing left for medicine, new clothes for his children or savings.

Still, Himmat is way above India’s poverty line.

Earlier this month, India’s Planning Commission, which helps sets economic policy, told the Supreme Court that the poverty line for the nation’s cities was 578 rupees ($12.75) per person a month – or 2,312 rupees ($51.38) for Himmat’s family of four. For rural India, it’s even lower at about 450 rupees ($9.93).

The revelation set off an angry debate in a country with soaring economic growth that has brought Ferrari dealerships and Louis Vuitton stores to cater to the new urban rich but left hundreds of millions of others struggling without access to adequate food and clean water.

The World Bank global poverty line, at $1.25 a day or about $38 per month, is three times higher than India’s urban level. Local activists say a better name for India’s standard would be “the starvation line.”

(Whats the genius of having such a low Poverty line threshold?)

“This number is a joke. There’s no seriousness about the poor,” activist Aruna Roy said.

The Planning Commission said it has to set the poverty line – which determines who gets government assistance – to make the best use of limited funds.

“When you have such a large number of people, given the resources that are available to the government, do you target the poorest of the poor or do you spread your net wider and succeed in covering nobody?” Pranab Sen, an adviser to the Planning Commission, recently told the NDTV news channel.

(Does that include covering up the problem? Or massively boosting the government assistance programs based on the considerable economic benefits of the last few years)

A daily allowance of 19 rupees (42 cents) would buy 3 1/2 bananas from a stall outside the commission’s own office in the Indian capital or less than two pounds (one kilogram) of wheat flour or rice, staples for most Indians.

Himmat, who like many Indians uses just one name, said India’s poverty line was ridiculous.

“What can we eat with that much money? Not even two dry rotis,” he said, referring to the traditional flat bread of north India.

Rent for his room, which is no larger than 10 feet by 4 feet, costs 1,500 rupees ($33). He struggles to send his two children to a poorly run government school that costs him another 1,000 rupees ($22). The remaining 2,500 ($55) must pay for food, medicines and any other necessities for his family.

In the summer, he sends his wife and children back to their village in eastern India and sleeps on the sidewalk to save on rent.

“I am a very poor man. I can’t imagine living on any less money,” he said.

The poverty debate began after India’s top court asked the Planning Commission to explain earlier this month why hundreds of millions of Indians are undernourished when the country had vast stores of food grains – at times running into millions of tons of surplus.

The commission maintained the government has only limited resources to distribute the grain to subsidized shops, and that it must set its poverty line accordingly to target the neediest.

Rights activists and some economists have slammed the commission, saying it should guide the government to set aside adequate resources to help the poor, and not merely set a poverty line so low that hundreds of millions are kept out of the social security net.

“In a globalized economy why are the people of India naked? It’s because the planning is to keep them naked,” said activist and lawyer Colin Gonsalves.

Dozens of activists protested outside the commission’s office earlier this week carrying small cardboard gift boxes for its members. The boxes contained the cheapest bus ticket, a pound (about 500 grams) of the cheapest rice, one potato, one onion, one banana, a matchbox and a pencil and overshot the daily budget by two rupees (4 cents).

“I propose that the Planning Commission members do their own research for one day. If they can live on this money and tell us how they did it we will stop protesting,” said activist Nikhil Dey.

For most of the last six decades since gaining independence from British rule, India has struggled to find a method to identify its poor and provide for them, at times trying to count calorie intake and now using income data that economists acknowledge are unreliable.

Using the commission’s poverty line, 37 percent of India’s 1.2 billion people qualify as poor.

The country currently spends 2 percent of its GDP – about 29 billion – in social protection, and half of that goes to the Public Distribution System, which provides the poor with subsidized food. Even with the low poverty line, the system – riddled with corruption and mismanagement – caters to over 440 million people, more than the entire population of the United States.

The World Bank poverty line would add about 60 million more people to that category.

Critics say even that is too few, and that India needs to extend its social security net to hundreds of millions more who like Himmat, the rickshaw puller, live in penury.

The Planning Commission’s current approach implies that the coverage of social benefits will shrink if not disappear over time, said Jean Dreze, a development economist affiliated with the Delhi School of Economics.

“In a rapidly growing economy, one would like to see the opposite,” he said.

For Himmat, who is illiterate and oblivious to what he can expect from the government, the debate has little meaning.

“My existence doesn’t matter to the government. They don’t care if people like me live or die,” he said.

(You idiot, why didn't you try and get a basic education? AND why did you have a family which you obviously can't support?..........everybody in India knows the GOI is a minimalist passive player in the Indian economy, so why do you still expect so much from Indian governments after such a fact of 63 years of painful experience)

Mullah Iran part II

.
.
.
.

The usual nations involved in the destabilization of the Shah (USA, Israel, UK), and his replacement by the Ayatollah mullah's are also involved in Egypt's (and else where......Libya, Tunisia, Syria) destabilization, the over throw of Mubarak...........instability, chaos, economic slum ....and the Muslim Brotherhood in the ascendancy.

Unlike the 1977---79 Iran Revolution, the Muslim Brotherhood, though very visible in the protests against Mubarak aren't at the center of the revolution.

Through elections, through their organizational zeal, and Western backing the Muslim Brotherhood could eventually come to power in Egypt.

The Mullahs of Iran after all assumed absolute power only in 1982, after purging the country of the Tudeh left front. Between 1979--1982 Iran was a coalition government. It was the Tudeh left front which played the greatest role in toppling the Shah of Iran in 1979........and it is the urban Middle Class nihilists of Egypt who were at the fore front of protests against Mubarak, AND the American trained and bought Egyptian military which actually toppled the Mubarak regime on the orders and directions of Washington.

The future bodes ill for Egypt.

Mubarak should not have been toppled like that, at such a time. Mubarak had faults and he was attempting through his family to establish a pharaoh dynasty. But a nation should never carry out revolutions just because well organized urban Middle Class nihilists want it.............and Washington sanctions it, through the Presidents speech.

There will come a day in the future when Egyptians will ruefully look back to the stable years of Mubarak.....just as many Iranians ruefully look back to the stable prosperous years of the Shah of Iran.

When the Muslim Brotherhood comes to power in Egypt eventually:

1. The Suez will be occupied. Egypt with its American trained officers, and supplied arms will never be able to resist Israel/USA/NATO.

2. Sectarian violence will increase, and the country divided as with Sudan.

3. Egypt under the control of the Muslim Brotherhood as with mullah Iran will become a pariah state.

4. Economic chaos will continue with massive refugee flights from Egypt to the Persian Gulf and Europe (especially of middle class technical skill based groups, as with Mullah Iran 4 million Iranians live abroad, mostly middle class......800,000 unofficially in the USA).

Revolutions with nice English soundbites and slogans written in Washington are good if at the end of it you get a perfect leadership, under a perfect political organization, which perfectly addresses ALL the grievances of the protesters in short order.

This is clearly not the case with Egypt NOW or any time soon........shame on the Egyptian military.

"al-Qaeda" has announced their new leader, and he is from the Egyptian military (how appropriate)

Egypt by Desertman On 27 May 2011, the New York Times has an article entitled:

Egypt’s Next Crisis

In this article we read about a political meeting, in the town of Kafr Shukr, where a chicken farmer named Ayman Dahroug declares:
"The truth is, there are no leaders in Kafr Shukr anymore. "It’s only the Muslim Brotherhood that works here now. "They are in Kafr Shukr every day."

The Muslim Brotherhood buy imported meat at a discount and sell it to the poor in
the town.

According to the New York Times article:

"Egypt is in the agony of self-discovery... "Other Arab revolutions founder or lapse into civil wars... "(In Egypt) workers are striking throughout the country... "Many ... warn of a possible takeover by Islamists, who could assume power through the ballot box only to impose an Iran-style theocracy.

"These fears are not groundless; there are certainly people, in Egypt and elsewhere in the Arab world, who do not want to see a popular revolution succeed...

"With Egypt’s economy in free fall, they are rightly anxious that mass hunger, rising inflation and joblessness among Egypt’s 83 million people could imperil everything they have achieved so far. "Already, there are signs of slippage: a street battle in a Cairo slum on May 7, sparked by sectarian rumors, left a dozen dead and two churches in flames.

"Street crime and prison breaks are on the rise...

"A welter of Islamic groups has emerged since the revolution, many of them previously living in shadows.
"One of the best known is the Islamic Group, the militant faction responsible for terrorist campaigns in the 1980s and 1990s that killed hundreds of police, soldiers, civilians and foreign tourists in Egypt... "One of the most common slogans in Tahrir Square during the revolution was 'bread, freedom, social justice'...

Mullah Iran still buying arms from ISRAEL, via Spain, Europe, and Turkey.

"It is tragic," I was told by Osama Leheta, an owner of one of Egypt’s oldest tourism companies.
"Production in Egypt has come to a near-standstill.

"Foreign reserves are being depleted.

"Our currency is under extreme pressure.

"
You could have millions of Egyptians with no food, and they will demolish everything in their path... "Inflation is soaring to levels not seen in years. The results are going to be catastrophic..."

(American aid will not solve this long term structural problem of a revolution which aims to bring Islamists into power, after which fact the aid will presumably stop from the G8)

According to the New York Times article:
"The challenge of fighting corruption will remain... "If police officers and civil servants continue to receive wages far too low to support a family, they will continue to demand kickbacks and bribes, and the societywide corruption that helped trigger the revolt will go on. ~~

Most of the media has lied about Mubarak. So, God bless the Kansas City Star for giving us the truth! On 11 February 2011, an article at the Kansas City Star, by top economist Keith Marsden (Egypt Inc. -- a look at the numbers), told us the following:

1.
The protestors claimed that '40% of Egyptians' live below the poverty line. The truth is that less than 2% of Egyptians live below the poverty line. Compare that with 41.6% in India. (The 'poverty line' is that which is recognised internationally/UN)

2.
The share in wealth of the poorest section of society has been increasing in Egypt. Total household consumption expenditure per capita (in constant prices) rose by 2.2% annually in Egypt from 2000-08.

3. Higher incomes, improved nutrition and better health services have helped to raise the average life expectancy at birth in Egypt to 70 years in 2008.

4.
The under-five child mortality rate (per 1000) dropped to 25 in Egypt in 2008, from 53 in 1990. Compare that with 89 in Pakistan, 69 in India, and 67 in South Africa.

5.
The maternal mortality ratio (per 100,000 live births) was estimated to be 130 in Egypt in 2005, compared with 1,000 in Nigeria. Egypt spent 6.3% of its GDP on health services in 2007 (Pakistan 2.7%).

6. The net enrollment rate for primary education rose to 94% in Egypt in 2008 (Pakistan 66%).

7. The World Bank reports an enrollment rate at the tertiary level (university and college) in Egypt of 35% in 2007 (South Africa 15%, India 12%, Pakistan 5%).

8.
The most recent World Bank data show an economy-wide unemployment rate of 8.7% of the Egyptian labor force. (South Africa 22.9%).

9. Mubarak's Egypt boosted investment. Egypt’s 'gross capital formation' soared by 7.4% annually from 2000-2008 (Israel 2.3%). An improved business environment, including a low corporate tax rate of 20% stimulated foreign direct (private) investment. Egypt’s Inflows rose to 9.5 billion dollars in 2008 from 0.6 billion dollars in 1995. Egypt’s stock market capitalization was valued at 91 billion dollars in 2009, a more than threefold increase from the year 2000.

10.
Egypt’s merchandise exports increased more than seven fold from 1990 to 2007. Inbound tourists spent 12.1 billion dollars in Egypt in 2008. The benefits were widely spread among the Egyptian people in the form of more jobs and higher incomes.

11.
Egypt gets relatively little in foreign aid. The net inflow of foreign official development assistance (ODA) to Egypt has fallen from 1.3% of Egypt’s Gross National Income in the year 2000 to 0.8% in 2008. Egypt has been getting nothing from bodies such as the IMF and World bank.

(The total net official financial flows to Egypt from bilateral sources, the international financial institutions (such as the IMF and World Bank) and the United Nations have turned negative.

Repayments of principal exceed disbursements. Egypt’s net outflows to bilateral sources reached 960 million dollars in 2008, topping its 118 million net inflows from multilateral sources.)

12. Egypt’s total military expenditure amounted to 2.3% of GDP in 2008 ( Israel 8.0%), down from 3.2% in 2000.

The SSG of Pakistan carried out the Osama raid for the JEWSA? Part II

.
.
.
.

Osama Bin Laden was the son of a wealthy billionaire Saudi businessman, who enjoyed a cosmopolitan privileged upbringing in Saudi, London, Paris and the USA where sometime in the 1980's he was recruited by American intelligence, and subsequently given the code name TIM OSMAN.

This is the norm for many elite privileged men, and women from many societies both Third World and First world Western countries........recruitment by intelligence services for a variety of purposes.

From there on, until his death in December 2001, he remained an American agent, overseen and controlled by the USA, for its particular agenda.

Following the previous post on this topic by aangirfan, another post this time by Whatreallyhappened.com is added below.

Osama died in December 2001. He was already in poor health in 2001, and very frail.

In 2001 he was in and out of hospitals.

In July 2001 he was in a Dubai hospital

And from there he was moved to Pakistan, and a PAKISTAN MILITARY hospital.....and in location for the 9/11 false flag hoax.

Some quick points.....Tim Osman around 9/11/2001 is not in any fit condition to lead anything, as he is quite obviously bed ridden.

Second he is surrounded by American and Pakistani security, who are quite familiar with him.

Third the critical role the Pakistan military play in facilitating the "al-Qaeda" myth for the USA, at that specific time by hosting Tim Osman, the American agent at one of their installations. Then wiring $100,000 to Atta by the then ISI head to give the impression something fishy was up.

Given his appearance...gaunt,
thin, yellowish pale face and his overall condition in September 2001, it is highly unlikely that he would survive ten more years, let alone heroically resist his former employers in ......moving Rambo like through the harsh SUMMER/WINTER mountains of Af/Pak (unless you are a youngish local man)...........and more plausible the numerous credible reports that he died around December 2001.

Well what can we say about the above, and how it relates to the recent staged event in Abbottabad, where Tim Osman was purportedly killed?

9/11 was an Israeli operation with various aspects of American security, sympathetic to Israel, and where the Pakistan military played a certain critical role in that narrative, as they had been doing for many years back. (Pakistan had hosted Israeli military personnel in the 1980's, training 100,000 anti-Soviet mujaheddin...and had no qualms dealing with them) The Jewish media played a role in reinforcing the lie, and the long wars against "al-Qaeda" in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen and Pakistan, further quietened any possible dissenting voices in such critical years where the USA switches to a near police state.

In the recent fake drama in Abbotabad, it is the Pakistani Military alone who perform the critical false act, and allow the Americans, somewhat screamingly to take the credit.

WHY?

The close relationship between the Pakistan military and American security has existed since 1954.

A lot of that relationship is covert, unseen by the general public involving over the years, coups, wars, covert programs and recruitment of unsavory Islamists for ops in Afghanistan, India and Iran.

The Americans train many of the senior officers in the Pakistan military....and personal bonds are developed between officers of the two countries. Admiral Mullen, the senior most military person of the hyper-power USA.....visits Pakistan very regularly. One even hazards a guess that he has visited Pakistan more often than say the UK...or Israel.

The Pakistan military is a critical service provider for the USA, in Pakistan, around Pakistan and in the Gulf, where many Pakistani units are stationed...and thus by proxy projecting America power in that region.

American military aid further reinforces this bond......and probably enriches many of the senior officers personally (most end up guaranteed millionaires, but not through acute business acumen.....save for the gravy train of the Pentagon)

MOST HUMANS mistakenly assume that ALL government institutions purely and only serve their country and the people generally, whose taxes pay their fat salaries. This is not true, other than in a purely theoretical outdated hypothetical Max Weber state model terms (The State apparatus is neutral, faceless, effective and works for everybody).........In many states Third World, First World, or banana republic the state often works for powerful politicized elites, for individuals in the elite structure or in Pakistan's case for outside powers within a failed state scenario.

In such a sorry scenario the fact that Pakistan has lost possibly up to $70 billion economically since 2001, due to the Pakistan military's fervent participation in GWoT, may not register with them as a loss. Or the loss of 34,000 civilian lives since 2001. Or the national shame of being dubbed terrorist hub number 1. ..............or the utter shame of carrying out a clandestine ops in Abbotabad for the USA, and boosting Obama's election prospects........then publicly being humiliated by the very same benefactors, "Pakistan military have been humbled" Mullen/Gates said in rapture....."We can attack any part of Pakistan and at any time, with impunity"..........the national shame to Pakistan, the military and the country.

1. The military men are silent, quiet.....because official American aid trickles in at $1.5 billion a year + military grants are given, though less is actually given.

2. The Pakistan military also gain "fell off the back of the lorry" hardware from supplies meant for the Occupation forces of Afghanistan numbering 250,000 (private and sanctioned military)....and supplies totaling $60-70 billion running through Karachi and Pakistan.

3. Many of the generals also receive stipends from American security.

Such narrow aid persuades the Pakistani generals to do the unthinkable and betray their own country, quite openly........appearing with Clinton without any qualms, quietly passively listening to her lectures without a word.........since they feel they have endeared themselves to the American masterji yet again.

A GALLERY OF FAKE DEAD BIN LADENS

By whatreallyhappened.com

Pakistan actually shot the man claimed to be bin Laden.
At about 1:20 a.m. local time a Pakistani helicopter was shot down by unknown people in the Sikandarabad area of Abbotabad. The Pakistani forces launched a search operation in the nearby area and encountered with a group of unknown armed people. A fire exchange followed between the two sides. When the fire exchange ended, the Pakistani forces arrested some Arab women and kids as well some other armed people who later confessed to the Pakistani forces they were with Osama Bin laden when the fire was exchanged and Bin Laden was killed in the firing.
The first fake photo, used by Reuters' and the British Press.

US Senator Scott Brown confirmed that this was the image he was shown as part of an official US government briefing to the Senate Armed Services Committee.

Brown, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, suggested he had viewed them as part of an official briefing, and he argued that they were too graphic to be released to the public and could enflame terrorists.

Oops.

Brown later acknowledged that he had fallen victim to a hoax, apparently the same doctored images that were making the rounds on the Internet.

And here is how the fake was made!

The mouth and beard from a photo of the real Bin Laden in the mid 80s was photoshopped onto the head of another dead man.

"If at first you don't succeed, lie, lie again!" -- Motto of the White House

Another photo that was leaked onto the net following the collapse of the first fake. The White House strategy appears to have been to "test" the fakes with leaks, then go with the first image that appeared to fool everyone. This one did not.

Ignoring the bullet hole this guy looks very healthy for ten years of dialysis. The nose is also too narrow. But the main reason to disregard this as another likely fake is simple. This image is tainted green to make it look like a night vision image, yet the soldier at right is looking off left, apparently able to see just fine without night vision goggles. And finally, there is something missing from this image that should be there (besides night vision goggles).

There is an illumination source to the upper right of the camera taking this image. You can see the resulting shadows on the jaw line and cheek of the soldier. More to the point, there is clearly a shadow from the soldier's face extending left from his face and falling on the floor and the side of "Osama's" face. Yet there is no trace of a similar shadow from the face of "Osama" above the beard near the right eye. And didn't the White House say "Osama" was shot above the LEFT eye?

Source image for the second fake is found; a clip from the movie "Blackhawk Down."

Flipped left to right

And merged with another fake bin Laden.

Source image for the second fake is found; a clip from the movie "Blackhawk Down."

The people who want to send your children off to die in wars on Israel's enemies are nothing if not persistent. After the above Blackhawk Down lie failed, they tried once more.

This is a simple morph, again exposed when the original source image was located by a WRH reader.

The real Osama Bin Laden ...

... died of natural causes in December 2001.

Even Fox News reported Bin Laden was dead in 2001 ... until it was decided that a live Bin Laden was more useful to the war hawks than a dead one!

In 2007, shortly before her own assassination, Benazir Bhutto confirmed that Osama Bin Laden was dead.

The above is from the last known video of the real Bin Laden, just weeks before his death in December 2001. Note the indications on his skin of the effects from dialysis.

Every Bin Laden shown on TV since then has been a phony to justify wars, TSA, and the loss of your civil protections.

In one notorious case, the FBI simply took the face from a Spanish politician, photoshopped it, and claimed it was Bin Laden.

In another case, the CIA openly admitted making fake Bin Laden videos.

Pakistan's Musharraf (2002): Bin Laden probably dead

Pakistan's president says he thinks Osama bin Laden is most likely dead because the suspected terrorist has been unable to get treatment for his kidney disease.

[A Bush administration official] said U.S. intelligence is that bin Laden needs dialysis every three days and "it is fairly obvious that that could be an issue when you are running from place to place, and facing the idea of needing to generate electricity in a mountain hideout." [CNN]

Renal dialysis -- talking about hemodialysis -- is something that really is reserved for patients in end-stage renal failure. That means their kidneys have just completely shut down. The most common cause of something like that would be something like diabetes and hypertension. Once that's happened, if you're separated from your dialysis machine -- and incidentally, dialysis machines require electricity, they're going to require clean water, they're going to require a sterile setting -- infection is a huge risk with that. If you don't have all those things and a functioning dialysis machine, it's unlikely that you'd survive beyond several days or a week at the most. [CNN]

The editor-in-chief of a London-based Arab news magazine said a purported will it published Saturday was written late last year [2001] by Osama bin Laden, and shows "he's dying or he's going to die soon." [CNN]

Usama bin Laden has died a peaceful death due to an untreated lung complication, the Pakistan Observer reported, citing a Taliban leader who allegedly attended the funeral of the Al Qaeda leader. "The Coalition troops are engaged in a mad search operation but they would never be able to fulfill their cherished goal of getting Usama alive or dead," the source said. [FOX News]

Israeli intelligence: Bin Laden is dead, heir has been chosen

Israeli sources said Israel and the United States assess that Bin Laden probably died in the U.S. military campaign in Afghanistan in December. They said the emergence of new messages by Bin Laden are probably fabrications, Middle East Newsline reported. [World Tribune]

CIA dismantles unit looking for Bin Laden in July 2005(NYT)........not surely because he was less dangerous by 2005, and no longer in the most wanted terrorist list......but that somebody made a sober assessment that he no longer existed.

Fool me once ...

Common sense will tell you that if you have real evidence of a real event, you do not need, nor would you risk, using a fake piece of evidence, because of the fake is exposed, doubt is cast on the real evidence. So, if the US Government is showing phony bin Laden photos to the Senator Armed Services Committee, it means all the evidence must be fake.

Failed State Pakistan number das.

.
.
.
.
Previously the Indians were polite in avoiding calling the failed state a failed state, but not any longer. This I think is progress in International relations.....if you base your diplomacy and relations grounded on reality, and intimate this fact to your own domestic public (for public information purposes) and the nation in question.

However such statements should not be made publicly, by Indian statesmen in alliance with another power such as the USA. There are good reasons. India should not be seen to be "ganging up" on its neighbor, and trying to score cheap points on the diplomatic plain. Any country in a "Failed state" scenario is in a very serious situation for their own people, and for their neighbors.......however the recognition of this fact, which is very important by India, must not become a cheap diplomatic scoring point for India at the same time.

How does India intend to address the "Failed state" problem of Pakistan comprehensively, for the future?

Will India provide money and technical resources to the civilian government in Islamabad to alleviate the problem?

To what extent does New Delhi recognize the role of the Pakistan military in the "Failed state" situation in Pakistan?

To what extent does New Delhi recognize the role of the USA in the "Failed state" situation in Pakistan?

How will India successfully integrate "Failed State " Pakistan into the SAARC community of countries for the future?

India calls Pakistan 'fragile' state

By Yahoo News, via antiwar.com

India sounded the alarm on Friday that Pakistan had become a "fragile" state with militant groups nurtured as "an instrument of state policy" uniting in their battle against the government.

(Yes 500,000 of them since the 1970's under the aegis and funding of the USA/Saudi....and yes they are manageable, but a serious nuisance to Pakistan's stability, since what they have created is state sanctioned private militia's being used by one and all, at a whim.......Generals who retire....Zamindars/Tamindars...who wish to enforce their writ....various political parties with different agenda's........the PAKISTAN MILITARY themselves as the biggest operator of such groups used against Afghanistan, India, Iran........and Pakistan...for destabilization purposes, which paints the Pakistan military as essential necessary heroes of the hour saving the nation from extremists.

The British military operated such people in Northern Ireland UDF.....3500 deaths in the UK from that conflict 1970--2000

Ditto the Turkish military......Ditto the American military, especially in South America......ditto Israel in relation to many of the Islamist outfits in the Occupied territories.......ditto the Indonesian military.....

However unlike many of these first world countries mentioned above, these paramilitary proxy forces were small, highly manageable, well documented and controlled by the
state institutions. Pakistan on the other hand is a "Failed State".....and has propagated far too many of these state proxy force paramilitaries...500,000.

They can't take over Pakistan, THE THREAT OF WHICH AMERICA WOULD LIKE INDIA TO VOICE AND PROPAGATE.........which is not in India's interests, but they will create instability for Pakistan which will be exploited by the USA for its own Jewish agenda's set by Israel (securing Pakistan's nukes.....objective since the 1970's)

In this hidden narrative the Pakistan military have helped Israel, since in the final analysis the Islamist proxy forces have very little real military value, except as a propaganda weapon, and fear weapon.)

Home Minister P. Chidambaram issued the warning at the start of talks with US Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, who is on a four-day trip to India to strengthen anti-terror information-sharing between the countries.

New Delhi has long accused Pakistan of harbouring militant groups, but analysts say it is becoming increasingly concerned that growing unrest could compromise the safety of the country's growing nuclear arsenal.

Chidambaram said in a statement that the "global epicentre of terrorism" was in Pakistan where "the vast infrastructure of terrorism in Pakistan has for long flourished as an instrument of state policy".

He continued: "Today, different terrorist groups, operating from the safe havens in Pakistan, are becoming increasingly fused; the society in Pakistan has become increasingly radicalized; its economy has weakened

"The state structure in Pakistan has become fragile."

US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton flew into Pakistan on Friday with "tough questions" for the country's leadership nearly a month after US commandos killed Osama bin Laden near Islamabad.

The US diplomat met Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani, then headed into talks with army chief Ashfaq Kayani and the chief of Pakistan's intelligence agency Ahmad Shuja Pasha, officials said.

She is also likely to try and smooth over relations between Pakistan and the United States, which sank to new lows after US Navy SEALs swooped on the Al-Qaeda chief's compound in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad on May 2.

Nuclear-armed India and Pakistan have fought three wars since independence from Britain in 1947.

A stop-start peace process is officially back on, but ties remain frosty.

India broke off formal peace talks with its neighbour after the 2008 attack on Mumbai that left 166 dead and was blamed on the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba militant group.

New Delhi and has repeatedly called on Islamabad to bring the perpetrators to justice. Pakistan has charged seven people but none has been convicted.

Poor Pakistan...."Not doing enough"

.

Poor Pakistan..........

Having lost $70 billion economically for participating in the American defined GWoT since 2001.

Having played an integral part in building up the "al-Qaeda" hologram bogey from 1996 for American security.

Having launched countless military ops losing 3000 troops dead, 5000 desertions and 18,000 wounded for the USA, since 2005, in military ops in NWFP.

Having lost 4000 people killed in over 300 terrorist ops within Pakistan since 2001

Having handed over 700 of the 780 Guantanamo inmates (90%) including some very big "al-Qaeda" fish.

Having just faked Osama's death for the umpteenth time in 2nd May using the Pakistani SSG at Abbottabad, suffering public humiliation domestically and internationally, including from the Americans.....to help Obama's re-election announced a few weeks earlier (ditto the purpose of the present European trip)

Having maintained the lie that Pakistan is terrorist hub number one......to justify the American presence in Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Having maintained the Taliban "controlled opposition" entity since 1994, at the behest and for the USA since and into 2011, so that the American's can justify their presence in Afghanistan.........

.............IS NOT DOING ENOUGH TO FIGHT TERRORISM.

Enough is never enough for the JEW.

One hopes, though they certainly are showing signs of it, that Pakistani security is not made up of GAY sado-masochists who enjoy pain and humiliation on themselves......especially from a Jewess dominatrix......lecturing, prodding, scolding, whipping....and profiting from the Afghan heroin.

Its tough being a donkey for the USA.

But Kiyani and Shuja Pasha knows very well Pakistan has clear alternative options away from the USA.......and pointed out eloquently by many experts in Pakistan, including the leader of the Insaaf Party.

The Pakistan military is on the right, all tied up by American security....and seems to be enjoying the very public GAY sado-masochists session, given the number of times Kiyani and Shuja Pasha appear in the media very passively, as they listen like good little boys to Clinton's lectures with Mullen in toe.

Pakistan Army Song - Hum Bardhty Jaain Gay.....

Clinton ‘Warns’ Pakistan, Demands Action Against ‘List’ of Targets

Another US Effort to Improve Ties Devolves Into Angry Demands

by Jason Ditz, at antiwar.com

Two weeks ago it was Admiral Mullen. Last week it was Sen. Kerry (D – MA). This weekend, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tried her hands at “improving” the increasingly strained relationship with Pakistan. Once again, it has ended the same.

Instead of reconciliation, Secretary Clinton’s visit was full of warnings and demands, She noted that US and Pakistani relations are at a “critical point,” then proceded to demand “decisive steps” from the Zardari government.

(Meaningless demand, as Clinton clearly knows Zardari has no power in Pakistan, he is just a figured head as is his administration and government. SECURITY in Pakistan is controlled by the PAKISTAN MILITARY(ISI).....from whom for obvious reasons Hilary did not press for action (publicly or privately), but a quiet thank you in the background for Abbottabad, and more "fell off the back of the lorry" equipment and logistics for the Pakistan military on its way to American occupation forces in Afghanistan (The Taliban will be blamed for the losses...or will simply be not listed on the Pentagon battle field arrivals ledger)

.......The Pakistan military is happy as it gets more American aid for free, and the Americans and Pentagon don't care because with a $1500 billion actual annual security budget and $3,000 billion Pentagon expenditure unaccounted for since the 1990's.......including military expenditure of $40 billion on previously scrapped projects, the "fell off the back of the lorry" left over stuff given to the Pakistan military is absolutely nothing in costs terms for the Pentagon......as endorsed by Mullens background presence in Islamabad with Hilary doing the talking.

PR op for the USA)

Kiyani and Shuja Pasha (off picture) on the very right.....sitting obediently and straight, smiling as if all is normal.

Which, as with all steps the Obama Administration is keen on, means killing people. According to US and Pakistani officials, Secretary Clinton delivered a “list” of people that the Obama Administration wants the Zardari government to immediately attack.

The list’s contents were unsurprising, and included the same people officials are constantly on about. The fact that the list was delivered in the wake of growing concerns that the US is being too demanding toward its allies in Pakistan, however, suggests that the Obama Administration simply doesn’t appreciate how the tense relationship has gotten so bad.

HAMAS created and funded by Israel in the 1970's

.
.
.
.
The British created the Muslim League in Dhaka in what is now Bangladesh in 1905, when it was part of undivided India, under the British Raj.

The British created the Muslim Brotherhood (see article at the very end by Brendan O'Neil) in Egypt in the 1920's, and funded the building of the first mosque for the organization in Cairo.

The British helped the House of Saud solidify their control of the country and the spread of Wahhabism, at the expense of the more moderate Hashemite clan.

Londonistan has traditionally been the home of the greatest concentration of so called Islamic scholars of the radicalized political bent, who wish to see harsh aspects of political Islam imposed on various Muslim countries (57).

London has traditionally been host to an array of colorful B-movie characters who are given open license to spread their extremist Islamic dogma under the concept of freedom of speech either through mosques funded by Saudi, or community centers funded by local London councils.

Indeed so fervent is Londonistan in encouraging this group of Islamists ........one can find many many hundreds of Islamists from around the world living in council buildings drawing social security. Sometimes the British Council funds such people from around the world to come to the UK to study "Islamic history" at various UK prestigious universities......where upon they are formally recruited by British Intelligence, either directly through interview or through university Islamic associations, and Headbuterrier---al-Magarine, run directly by MI-5.

For the utterly evil nasty Jewish run British empire, Islamic Fundamentalists had their uses. Islamists were on the whole backward looking stupid, uneducated, sometimes violent or shall we say fervent people who could be brought out of the imperial pocket when the need arose. Islamists with their unrealistic Pan-Islamic yester year dreams of the Caliphate were useful against local SECULAR nationalists who were more articulate, effective and MODERN in opposing the British colonials.

The Muslim League in India run by British Intelligence, and their agent Jinnah was effective in weakening the aspirations of the secular popular mass grass roots movement of the Congress Party of Nehru/Gandhi as it was then running up to Independence (not as it is now).........ditto the use of the Muslim Brotherhood by the British in Egypt against secular, effective MODERN Egyptian nationalism. Both Nasser and Saddam Hussein the well informed CIA agents with extensive intelligence backgrounds, and Sadat clearly without mistake understood this FACT. They did not waste their time trying to understand and accommodate such Imperial funded and created creatures.

If this policy was good for the British, why couldn't the American's also adopt such a policy?

In the 1970's the USA tilted towards using Islamists either directly.....or if that was too nauseating, through the local banana republic Third World military (Egypt gradually after Sadat's assassination; Pakistan from the late 1970's and Indonesia from the 1960's).......in this policy tilt the American's received a lot of encouragement from Bernard LewisThe British Jewish super agent in the USA, and the go to guy by Capitol Hill as the self-appointed "expert" of ISLAM.........and the man who first coined the term Clash of Civilization.

The end result of this British/Jewish effort and influence in the USA was, Operation Cyclone....and Operation Greenbelt.

The reliable American "Policeman of the Gulf" puppet the Shah was unceremoniously ditched, and not allowed even to enter the USA......as he was destabilized by Carter during 1977--1979.

The USA started funding extremist Afghan Islamists during the late 1970's.....with considerable Saudi help later onwards.

Sadat was assassinated by the Muslim Brotherhood in 1981, presumably the work of the USA.

The Muslim Brotherhood attempted a spectacular uprising in Socialist Syria in 1982, which was brutally put down with 20,000 deaths by the highly talented dictator Hafeez al- Assad. Presumably that was also an USA covert ops.

AND this American policy it has continued since to the present.........

The creation of the extremist medieval Taliban using the services of the Pakistan military from 1994.

The creation of the "al-Qaeda" global hologram, which America can only deal with from about 1998?

Islamists in Somalia, mostly connected to London and possibly the USA.

"al-Qaeda" in the Arabian peninsular, again a product of the USA, and Saleh to keep the aid flowing.

Islamist activity in Indonesia courtesy of the USA, via the Indonesian military (Kaupasus special forces)

Islamist activity in Pakistan courtesy of the USA, via the Pakistan military (ISI)

If the British and Americans can play this Islamist card then WHY can't ISRAEL?

Why indeed......and you have HAMAS created and funded by Israel from the 1970's.

The benefits of Hamas for Israel are obvious IN ONE SENSE. The Israelis can throw their arms in the air and say they can't possibly negotiate peace with such extremists who want to drive all Israelis into the sea. Second the Israelis can also milk the sympathy card that the Islamic hordes are at the gates of Jerusalem........to the impressionable Jewish audience in Western countries.

Hamas divides the Palestinians, and denies Palestinians the voice of the Christian Palestinians who are further marginalized, who otherwise form the most educated, organized and articulate section of Palestinian society (as with secular nationalists). A Christian Palestinian speaking rationally and engaging Western audiences with their needs and problems (In the manner of Hannan Ashrawi) will always be more effective PR than a bearded turban wearing Hamas official armed with an AK-47 and punching his fist in the air at mass rallies attended by Balaclava wearing young angry Palestinian men.

There are "Peoples Revolutions" in Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, and Yemen funded by the USA and its democracy NGO'S. The USA has a long history and experience in such revolutions dating back to the last century, around the world.

On the other hand, "Peoples Revolutions" are common and have existed since time immemorial.....the first recorded dating back almost 5000 years in ancient Iraq. However if such revolutions eventually see Islamists Parties into ultimate power, with Londonistan emptying of their followers, .......as with Iran in 1979............then we must all hesitate and and struggle, and argue against such "People Revolutions".

Tunisia after the peoples revolution faces an economic and social abyss.

Libya was prosperous under the erratic eccentric Qaddafi dictatorship.......no dozens of palaces, or mass graves by Qaddafi. But now the country faces Balkanisation and destruction as NATO bombs the country into its own particular type of freedom.

In Egypt, heaven forbid if the Muslim Brotherhood win the majority of seats in forth coming parliamentary elections..........The Suez will be occupied by NATO; Christian/Muslim riots instigated by Israel...division of the country along the Sudanese lines......and a pariah state, constantly threatened like Iran now.

Syria, continues to struggles to maintain its unity. You cannot have pure democracy if you are a target state and a neighbor of Israel.

Hamas, Son of Israel

by Justin Raimondo, at antiwar.com

Amid all the howls of pain and gnashing of teeth over the triumph of Hamas in the Palestinian elections, one fact remains relatively obscure, albeit highly relevant: Israel did much to launch Hamas as an effective force in the occupied territories. If ever there was a clear case of “blowback,” then this is it. As Richard Sale pointed out in a piece for UPI:

“Israel and Hamas may currently be locked in deadly combat, but, according to several current and former U.S. intelligence officials, beginning in the late 1970s, Tel Aviv gave direct and indirect financial aid to Hamas over a period of years. Israel ‘aided Hamas directly – the Israelis wanted to use it as a counterbalance to the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization),’ said Tony Cordesman, Middle East analyst for the Center for Strategic [and International] Studies. Israel’s support for Hamas ‘was a direct attempt to divide and dilute support for a strong, secular PLO by using a competing religious alternative,’ said a former senior CIA official.”

Middle East analyst Ray Hanania concurs:

“In addition to hoping to turn the Palestinian masses away from Arafat and the PLO, the Likud leadership believed they could achieve a workable alliance with Islamic, anti-Arafat forces that would also extend Israel’s control over the occupied territories.”

In a conscious effort to undermine the Palestine Liberation Organization and the leadership of Yasser Arafat, in 1978 the government of then-Prime Minister Menachem Begin approved the application of Sheik Ahmad Yassin to start a “humanitarian” organization known as the Islamic Association, or Mujama. The roots of this Islamist group were in the fundamentalist Muslim Brotherhood, and this was the seed that eventually grew into Hamas – but not before it was amply fertilized and nurtured with Israeli funding and political support.

Begin and his successor, Yitzhak Shamir, launched an effort to undercut the PLO, creating the so-called Village Leagues, composed of local councils of handpicked Palestinians who were willing to collaborate with Israel – and, in return, were put on the Israeli payroll. Sheik Yassin and his followers soon became a force within the Village Leagues. This tactical alliance between Yassin and the Israelis was based on a shared antipathy to the militantly secular and leftist PLO: the Israelis allowed Yassin’s group to publish a newspaper and set up an extensive network of charitable organizations, which collected funds not only from the Israelis but also from Arab states opposed to Arafat.

Ami Isseroff, writing on MideastWeb, shows how the Israelis deliberately promoted the Islamists of the future Hamas by helping them turn the Islamic University of Gaza into a base from which the group recruited activists – and the suicide bombers of tomorrow. As the only higher-education facility in the Gaza strip, and the only such institution open to Palestinians since Anwar Sadat closed Egyptian colleges to them, IUG contained within its grounds the seeds of the future Palestinian state. When a conflict arose over religious issues, however, the Israeli authorities sided with the Islamists against the secularists of the Fatah-PLO mainstream. As Isseroff relates, the Islamists

Encouraged Israeli authorities to dismiss their opponents in the committee in February of 1981, resulting in subsequent Islamisation of IUG policy and staff (including the obligation on women to wear the hijab and thobe and separate entrances for men and women), and enforced by violence and ostracization of dissenters. Tacit complicity from both university and Israeli authorities allowed Mujama to keep a weapons cache to use against secularists. By the mid 1980s, it was the largest university in occupied territories with 4,500 students, and student elections were won handily by Mujama.”

Again, the motive was to offset Arafat’s influence and divide the Palestinians. In the short term, this may have worked to some extent; in the longer term, however, it backfired badly – as demonstrated by the results of the recent Palestinian election.

The Hamas infrastructure of mosques, clinics, kindergartens, and other educational institutions flourished not only because they were lavishly funded, but also due to being efficiently run. Sheik Yassin and the future leaders of Hamas acquired a reputation for “clean” governance and good administrative practices, which would greatly aid them – especially in comparison to the PLO, which was widely perceived as corrupt. Indeed, “clean government” – and not the necessity of armed struggle – was the main theme of their successful election campaign.

The response of Israel and the U.S. has been shock, horror – and a stated refusal to deal with any government dominated by Hamas. U.S. congressional leaders – who unhelpfully passed a resolution prior to the Palestinian poll that demanded Hamas be banned from running – are now calling the entire “peace process” into question. Yet no one acknowledges that the victory of the Suicide Bombers Party demonstrated, in practice, an ancient principle expressed, I believe, by no less an authority than the Bible (Galatians 6:7):

“Be not deceived. God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

This “blowback” principle applies to Hamas not only insofar as Israel was involved in funding and encouraging Mujama, but also, after the consolidation of Hamas as an armed group, due to Israeli military policy. The much-touted “withdrawal,” which amounts to Israel giving up Gaza while strengthening its hand elsewhere in the occupied territories, has been grist for the radical Islamist mill, as has the Wall of Separation and the attempt to quash the vote in East Jerusalem. Israel’s relentless offensive against its perceived enemies – first Fatah, now Hamas and Islamic Jihad – has created a backlash and solidified support for fundamentalist extremist factions in the Palestinian community.

Likewise, the victory of Hamas will embolden the ultra-Zionists in Israel, who similarly mix a fanatic theology with faith in a military “solution” to the Palestinian “problem.” The electoral victory of Hamas was only a few hours old before Benjamin “Bibi” Netanyahu went on television explaining why any concessions to the Palestinians – including the Gaza pullback – only served to embolden the most radical elements, such as Hamas.

The stricken Ariel Sharon lies in his hospital bed, unconscious – while his unilateral “land for peace” plan suffers from a very similar condition. Sharon’s newly-formed Kadima Party is the big potential loser in all this, with Netanyahu’s Likud looking to gain bigtime. The irony is that, as defense minister, it was Sharon who helped conceive and oversee the Village Leagues scheme that did so much to implant and empower Hamas. Like some Middle Eastern version of Dr. Frankenstein, he wound up being struck down by his own monstrous creation.

There is a lesson in there, somewhere, though it isn’t one the Israelis or their American sponsors seem capable of learning just yet.

The idea that voting is some kind of panacea that will cleanse the Middle East of a self-defeating radicalism is an illusion that died a painful death with the election victory of Hamas. It had earlier suffered near-fatal convulsions with the ascension to power in Iraq of a Shi’ite fundamentalist coalition closely tied to Iran. The bitch-goddess of capital-D Democracy is a fickle and often perversely cruel deity, whose worshippers have been hit with a one-two punch as they seek to transform an entire region according to the canons of their peculiar dogma.
