Pakistan China strategic cooperation.

.
.
.
.
Its not a bad idea for Third World countries to know which First World countries are the REAL benefactors, and which are the ones who do covert harm to the country.

This is a simple matter of survival and development. Its an intuition that must come naturally.
 .
The UK has never undertaken any strategic projects in Pakistan, despite exercising great influence within the security establishment, the civil service, the economic elite, the political elite and even civil society. Emotionally the Pakistani elite is still attached to Bilaat saab, and Pakistan is still a member of the Commonwealth, which is a celebration of the British empire. This anomaly has not registered with the Pakistan elite.

Likewise, the USA has never undertaken any strategic projects in Pakistan, despite exercising great influence within the security establishment, the civil service, the economic elite, the political elite and even civil society. Emotionally the Pakistani elite is still attached to gora saab, and Pakistan is still an active member of GWoT, a fake manufactured narrative which enables the USA empire to expand further afield under the pretext of fighting 'al-CIA-duh" and other assorted Islamists created by the USA itself. This anomaly has not registered with the Pakistan elite.

It is true that the USA has poured maybe $80 billion of aid into Pakistan between 1950--2012(current prices) ....but most of that has been in the form of defense equipment, and other such things. The USA has not undertaken any strategic projects in Pakistan, whether building bridges, dams, roads, irrigation canals, ports, power stations, factories, mines......and so forth, all of which make a nation stronger, benefit everybody in the country not just a few, and really develop the country subsequently raising living standards.

Instead the USA aid necessarily makes the Pakistan military the defacto masters of the country, and consequently the influence with which the USA exercises with its sale of military toys, destabilizes and destroys the country into a failed state which is precisely where Pakistan is now.

then ends up fighting its 'best' wars against its own unarmed people, in order to please gora saab.....and thus prove their useful credentials to their masterji in order to gain more aid.

This is not the case with China, which is an Asian country, and neighbor of Pakistan. The bulk of the strategic projects in Pakistan have been carried out by China, whether its license production of tanks, jet fighters, missiles, or dams, roads, bridges and ports in the case of the below article.

After such significant help often provided through credit, China does not DEMAND in return political fealty from Pakistan, nor condescend into giving misguided directions to the country's leadership, or maneuver and install corrupt Pakistanis into power.

China is ALL good for Pakistan.

It is welcomed that China will completely take over the Gwadar port area, and that responsible Pakistanis give the Chinese the concessions they require in terms of land for further development of the port. China should be allowed their own security personnel into the port area in addition.

Finally China should be allowed a military base in FATA, as has been discussed before which should house extensive surveillance equipment as well as combat planes from the PLA airforce, and drones and Ariel surveillance planes........and army personnel. 5,000--10,000.

This will be a wise decision for Pakistan, and a very very belated reward for Pakistan's best ally for 50 years.

The Port Singapore Authority (PSA) has decided to leave Gwadar Port due to non-handing over of allocated land required by the Authority for making the port fully operational, according to Federal Minister for Ports and Shipping Babar Khan Ghauri.

“The denial of land at Gwadar Port forced PSA to leave the port, which will be taken over by a Chinese company,” the Federal Minister informed the Senate Standing Committee on Ports and Shipping that met with Sardar Fateh Mohammad Hassani in the chair here on Tuesday.

It was agreed in the MoU signed with PSA that the government would provide the required land to make the Gwadar Port fully operational, which was in the possession of Pakistan Navy and Coastal Guard. However, that commitment did not materialise, which led PSA to leave the port, said Ghauri, adding that the government had issued an NoC to PSA in this regard, which was going to sell its shares to a Chinese company.

Hassani said that due to government’s mistakes, PSA was going to leave the port and if corrective measures were not taken the Chinese company could also follow suit. The Committee recommended that GPA, Pakistan Navy, Coast Guard, Balochistan government and Planning Commission should resolve the land issue in three weeks and report to the committee. It further recommended that as an alternative, Pakistan Navy should take the available 300 acres of land from government of Balochistan and vacate 584 acres of land at Gwadar Port.

Pakistan Navy (PN) officials informed the committee that the PN was a legal and legitimate owner of 584 acres of land at Shamba Ismail Gwadar, which was allocated to PN against payment by the Government of Balochistan for Defence/operational purposes. However, PN land at Shamba Ismail was made part of Gwadar Port Development Plan without its consent. Hence, Ministry of Ports and Shipping had been pursuing the case for the transfer of PN land to GPA since long.

The Ministry also took up the case with Prime Minister in 2008, who after thorough scrutiny of records, finally approved the retention of land at Shamba Ismail by PN. However, only 30 acres of land for the rail/road link from Gwadar Port to Free Zone/Container Freight Terminal was to be spared by the PN. Therefore, the PN’s possession of Shamba Ismail land has been well before Gwadar port project was launched, according to the PN.

In lieu of the land at Shamba Ismail, the government of Balochistan had offered two pieces of land at Pishukan and Shabi Tehsil to PN. Later in Jan 2012, the Prime Minister constituted a committee under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan to resolve the issue. Subsequently, a feasibility study of both pieces of land was carried out by the PN and land offered at North Bay of Pishukan was considered suitable for the PN. The PN also conveyed that the size of alternate land should be approximately 1000 acres instead of the offered 584 acres and that the PN would retain 84 acres of land at Shamba Ismail.

As a future course of action, M/o P & S is requested to undertake necessary action in line with PN stance on the issue. PN being the legal owner is in the possession of the land at Shamba Ismail since 1980 and this land is essentially required by the PN for Defence/operational purposes due to its strategic location. However, PN may consider handing over the land to GPA in the greater national interest provided suitable alternate land meeting all essential PN requirements was offered, PN officials told the committee.

Chairman Gwadar Port informed the committee that the government of Pakistan had decided in year 2002 to construct Port in Gwadar due to its naturally sheltered location from south — westerly monsoons. The main objectives for development of the port were trans-shipment, transit trade, Gwadar industrial development and Gwadar city growth.

Under a Financial arrangement with the Government of China, the port was constructed at an estimated cost of $ 287.8 million. The Chinese government made a $ 220.26 million contribution to the project. M/s Arthur D Little prepared a Master Plan of the Port and identified Strategic Zones and Land Bank requirements for the next 35-50 years.

He further said that in February 2007 through a concession agreement with PSA Gwadar Pte Limited, which is a subsidiary of PSAI, the management, operations, maintenance and development of Gwadar port were transferred to the concession holder for a period of 40 years under the ‘Landlord’ concept. GPA’s share in Gross Income was calculated as follows: PSA Gwadar International Terminal Limited 9%; Gwadar Marine Service Limited 9% and Gwadar Free Zone Company Limited 15 %.

The chairman said that after taking the possession of Port as a concession holder, the PSA installed two Gantry cranes, 200 meter of single rails and one Sub-Station. In accordance with Schedule-5 of the Concession agreement, the PSA was bound to invest US$ 775 million for the development of port, which did not materialize, he added.

The construction of East Bay Expressway on East Bay of existing Gwadar City had been proposed to link the Gwadar Port with existing Makran Coastal Highway, he said and added that the Port, at present, was connected to Coastal Highway through existing city road due to which city population as well as Port cargo traffic faced huge problems. According to him, the existing city road is designed only for city traffic and it is unable to be used for heavy port traffic.

During the Port Operations the road is totally congested with the traffic and there is high risk of accidents due to low capacity of the road for bearing the heavy port traffic. There are also observations of the city government as well as existing population of the city for the shifting of heavy port traffic to some other places. Due to prevailing law and order situation in the country as a whole and especially in Balochistan, the existing road is insecure for port traffic.

The 584 acres of land allotted to Pakistan Navy at Shamb-e-¬Ismail Gwadar is to be transferred to GPA. The Prime Minister has constituted a committee headed by the Chief Minister of Balochistan, which held a meeting under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Balochistan in March 2010 to resolve the issue. Pakistan Navy consented to vacate the 584 acres of land at Shamb-e-Ismail Gwadar, and requested for an alternate piece of land at Pishukan having an adequate sea frontage.

In this regard, the last meeting was held in April 16, 2012 at Gwadar chaired by the Commissioner Makran Division. Both parties agreed that 584 acre of land at East Bay Gwadar allotted to Pakistan Navy would be transferred to GPA and in lieu thereof around 1000 acres of land, both government and private, will be allotted to Pakistan Navy at Pishukan as identified by the concerned naval authorities.

The revenue authorities the Gwadar have indicated the price of land to be around Rs 744 million, which would be required to be paid by GPA in this respect, the chairman informed the committee.

More time needed to win battle: Syrian President Assad

By Presstv.com

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad says more time is needed to “win the battle” against the foreign-backed terrorists (murderers, robbers, looters, rapists, traitors, mercenaries-) across the country.

In an interview with Syrian Al-Dunia TV channel, President Assad stated that the situation was progressing.

“I can summarize in one phrase: we are progressing, the situation on the ground is better but we have not yet won -- this will take more time,” Assad said.

He also stressed that Syria is “in the midst of a global and regional war.”

(1. It is regional war in the sense that Deonme Turkey, and the Jew CIA puppet Erdogan, along with Saudi Arabia and Qatar have unwisely decided to follow their masters wishes against brother Syria in supporting covert Jihad against Syria. It is also regional because some, not all in Israel's right-wing religious circles see a historic chance of promoting 'Eretz Israel'..or Greater Israel...once the Balkanisation of Arab countries takes place, using the might of USA/NATO and the destabilization/delegitimation of surrounding Arab countries using "al-CIA-duh" into political mainstream power for the first time.

2. It is a global war because, under the Jewish neo-con authored PNAC 2000, the USA unrealistically must achieve 'Full Spectrum Dominance' over the entire world, where there are no rivals allowed. That the demise of the Soviet Union offers a historic opportunity for the USA, and that regimes which are perceived to be hostile, and/or allied to the former Soviet Union should be removed in favor of pro-American puppets. This means, along with the Redirection policy of 2007, the Syrian government must be overthrown, as it still hosts Russian bases....and then Iran....then Central Asia "The Grand Chess Board" 1998 by Brzezinski,,,spelt it out very clearly before the neocons...then there after Russia and China.

It is not clear what benefits the UK state , as a secondary power hopes to gain or for that matter other participating Western states in this imperialist adventure which seeks to make the USA ....forever the sole hyper-power, and where it become even more dominant AND EVEN MORE BELLIGERENT as an unchecked hyper-power which wishes to "rule the world'...Tony Bennett song. It is more than likely that such an endeavor would have been sold to the UK, and other Western countries as a prerequisite of International Jews, and for the furtherance of the 'Chosen' tribes special interests.

3. Russia's response to this all evident empire building steadily since 1991, often at the expense of its back yard spheres of influence has been very weak and very confused. Russia supports the USA/NATO occupation of Afghanistan, along with logistics help, even though the Pentagon/CIA run heroin business from that wretched country harms an inordinate number of Russians.

With Syria, Russia has been sending mixed signals.....beyond the diplomatic help Russia provides the country. This is typified by Sergei Lavrov's long essay published a few months back, where he overall condemned American unilateralism (as if that's going to change the American's course of action), but ended up by stating that Syria for Russia was just another country. This is blatantly incorrect at two levels.

First, since Syria is the battle ground where at the end run of which Russia will be the ultimate target, then as with Republican Spain 1936--39, Socialist Syria is not just another country for Russia, the country has significance beyond that. Now if Lavov fails to see this basic fact, he should not be doing his job.

Second, Syria at least since 1970, when Hafiz Assad came to power, for the past 42 years has been a close ally of Russia......with naval bases in Tartous, and the Syrian military a copy of the old Soviet military, along with Russian military advisers. In my village idiot perspective Russia should identify, hail and protect its few remaining allies in the world....which are what......Belarus and Syria? (In the sense of protector and protected)  To reinforce this close relationship let me retell an anecdote from the 1990's, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, when Russia was under the control of the drunk Jew oligarch puppet, Boris Yeltsin, whilst the Jews busied themselves looting the country.....It was on BBC news, and the event I believe was an attempt yet again to achieve peace and settlement between the Palestinians and Israelis, with the meeting being held in Damascus, amongst many other venues. The Israeli delegate uncharitably raised the issue of Syrian State sponsored terrorism against Israel, missing the main agenda, to which Farouk al-Sharaa, the then Syrian foreign minister decided to fire off a list of Israeli state sponsored terrorism......just as he was getting into his stride, the resident Russian envoy for the Middle East Yevgeny Primakov (Jew) in full public view, sent a note to Al-Sharaa to shut up...which he immediately did. I laughed at the display of Russian power, and Syrian servile timidity...and the BBC reporter was decidedly sarcastic, and therefore very funny.

Now this is what I call a close relationship, only a few years back...unless Mr. Lavrov sees it differently.

In all events if the relationship wasn't that close why did Mr. Lavov himself earlier this year, taking with him the head of the FSB take all the trouble of going to Syria......to tell the Syrians to surrender and negotiate peace with the terrorist "al-CIA-duh" who don't want to negotiate any way?

Now I am not going to say that Lavrov is a Jew just because his eyes are close together and he has a hook nose...that would be silly and impolite. But Jews in Russia to a great extent misdirect, and confuse strategic Russian state policy. This creates inconsistency in the face of obvious compelling action. Jews in Russia follow the tribal call from Tel Aviv, New York and London where the Rothschilds are based.

As I have stated before this analysis explains to a great extent the various 'mistakes' of Stalin, running up to the Great Patriotic War, which led to the death of 30 million Soviets....otherwise hailed as a great achievement, whilst in complete contrast, in WWI where 1.7 million people died in the Russian empire this was considered a failure.......and the subsequent execution of the entire elite, intelligentsia, Orthodox priesthood of Russia....and most savagely the Royal Family. Why exactly did Stalin kill the entire officer corps in the eve of war in 1937? Why did he disband the armored formations of Tukhachevsky? Why did he station so many troops close to the Axis powers border, in unprotected positions, with minimal defensive effort?

Non-Jew Russians must state the policies which will benefit Russia, and that includes giving Syria MORE than diplomatic support. It includes giving little embattled Syria greater logistical help, and direct military aid, so that the country can properly defend the country against the USA backed terrorists.....no more, no less )
The Syrian president also dismissed as “unrealistic” a proposal by Turkey for the creation of buffer zones within Syria to receive refugees displaced by the ongoing unrest.
(Buffer zones were also created in Libya, using NATO/USA air-power 2011, in the Western part of the country....which eventually became the main base for operations of the terrorists against the Tripoli government.......no part of the country must be "liberated' by the terrorists)

“Talk of buffer zones firstly is not on the table, and secondly, it is an unrealistic idea by hostile countries and the enemies of Syria.”

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011. Damascus says outlaws, saboteurs, and insurgents are behind the unrest, while the opposition accuses the security forces of killing protesters.

Foreign Policy plums new depths of own legendary depravity.

by Tony Cartalucci
Foreign Policy published a recent article literally titled, "Two Cheers for Syrian Islamists." In it, general editor of the Neo-Con Middle East Forum Gary Gambill concedes that the Syrian government "would not be in the trouble it's in today were it not for the Islamists," revealing what the West and its media houses have attempted but failed at obfuscating - that the violence in Syria is the work of sectarian extremists, not "pro-democracy activists." The latter's existence was amplified by the Western media specifically to provide cover and legitimacy for the violence and subversion of the former.
Image: Must be seen to believe - screenshot of FP's article literally titled, "Two Cheers for Syrian Islamists." The writer, Gary Gambill, comes from the Middle East Forum which regular features the warmongering rants of Neo-Cons like Daniel Pipes and Islamophobia-propagandist Robert Spencer.
....

Gambill continues his "two cheers" for terrorism in perhaps the most perverse statement found to-date in the Western press on the subject:
"Islamists -- many of them hardened by years of fighting U.S. forces in Iraq -- are simply more effective fighters than their secular counterparts. Assad has had extraordinary difficulty countering tactics perfected by his former jihadist allies, particularly suicide bombings and roadside bombs."
Gambill is gushingly praising men who have killed Western troops, admiring their prowess on the battlefield through their use of indiscriminate terrorist tactics which have killed and maimed tens of thousands of civilians across the Arab World.
The Big Lie

Gambill continues by stating, "The Sunni Islamist surge may also be essential to inflicting a full-blown strategic defeat on Iran," before concluding at length as to why the US should support terrorism in Syria:

"For the foreseeable future, however, Iran constitutes a far greater and more immediate threat to U.S. national interests. Whatever misfortunes Sunni Islamists may visit upon the Syrian people, any government they form will be strategically preferable to the Assad regime, for three reasons: A new government in Damascus will find continuing the alliance with Tehran unthinkable, it won't have to distract Syrians from its minority status with foreign policy adventurism like the ancien régime, and it will be flush with petrodollars from Arab Gulf states (relatively) friendly to Washington.

So long as Syrian jihadis are committed to fighting Iran and its Arab proxies, we should quietly root for them -- while keeping our distance from a conflict that is going to get very ugly before the smoke clears. There will be plenty of time to tame the beast after Iran's regional hegemonic ambitions have gone down in flames. " -
Gary Gambill, "Two Cheers for Syrian Islamists," (2012)
In this, Gambill divulges the true agenda behind destabilizing Syria - the isolation and undermining of Iran to the east, and Hezbollah in Lebanon to the West.

Gambill also mentions the destruction of Syria as a means of realigning Iraq to US interests.

Gambill disingenuously claims that the US can do "little about" what he calls the "political ascendancy" of these sectarian extremists, portraying the rise of violence across the Levant and the miraculous resurrection of the Muslim Brotherhood across the Arab World as coincidentally aligned to American interests, and something that should be allowed, even encouraged, to run its course.

Gambill fails to mention, however, that this "political ascendancy" was planned, funded, armed, and organized by the US, Israel, and Saudi Arabia
as far back as 2007, according to a detailed, 9-page report published by Seymour Hersh in the New Yorker titled "The Redirection."

In the report, it explicitly states:

"To undermine Iran, which is predominantly Shiite, the Bush Administration has decided, in effect, to reconfigure its priorities in the Middle East. In Lebanon, the Administration has coöperated with Saudi Arabia’s government, which is Sunni, in clandestine operations that are intended to weaken Hezbollah, the Shiite organization that is backed by Iran. The U.S. has also taken part in clandestine operations aimed at Iran and its ally Syria. A by-product of these activities has been the bolstering of Sunni extremist groups that espouse a militant vision of Islam and are hostile to America and sympathetic to Al Qaeda." -Seymour Hersh, The Redirection (2007)
 Hersh's report would also include:
"the Saudi government, with Washington’s approval, would provide funds and logistical aid to weaken the government of President Bashir Assad, of Syria. The Israelis believe that putting such pressure on the Assad government will make it more conciliatory and open to negotiations." -Seymour Hersh, The Redirection (2007)
In essence, Gambill's gushing support for terrorism - and in particular, terrorists who have fought and killed Americans - is but the latest in an attempt to spin and repackage Al Qaeda and the fraudulent "War on Terror" as public awareness outgrows the fallacious "humanitarian pretenses" the operation has been couched within hitherto.

Gambill's material support for terrorism echos a recent article titled, "
Al-Qaeda's Specter in Syria," published by the Council on Foreign Relations, a premier Fortune 500-funded US think-tank, which stated:
"The Syrian rebels would be immeasurably weaker today without al-Qaeda in their ranks. By and large, Free Syrian Army (FSA) battalions are tired, divided, chaotic, and ineffective. Feeling abandoned by the West, rebel forces are increasingly demoralized as they square off with the Assad regime's superior weaponry and professional army. Al-Qaeda fighters, however, may help improve morale. The influx of jihadis brings discipline, religious fervor, battle experience from Iraq, funding from Sunni sympathizers in the Gulf, and most importantly, deadly results. In short, the FSA needs al-Qaeda now."
Why is Gambill Writing This?

Consider the audience of Foreign Policy.

It is not propaganda fit for the masses. Rather it is for aspiring, as well as low to mid-level members of the global corporate-financier establishment.

Western involvement in both Libya and Syria have undermined the governments, institutions, and organizations many of these people work for, and as public awareness (and anger) grows, it will be these low to mid-level members who bear the brunt of the system's collapsing legitimacy.

Many are already expressing doubts over the viability and nature of the West's global agenda as it unfolds.

It must be remembered that the terrorists Gambill is "cheering" for had ensnared millions of Western troops for over a decade in the
so-called "War on Terror." It has killed thousands of troops, tens of thousands were maimed both physically and psychologically, and hundreds of thousands have forever lost time they could have spent at home with their loved ones. As public awareness grows of Western support for these very terrorists, it would be almost inconceivable that there would not be a profound, perhaps even violent backlash against people like Gambill and the establishment he represents.

Gambill's cheerleading is designed to rally the lower ranks of the establishment around this new narrative as he and fellow warmongers attempt to flee forward through Syria and then into Iran.

Eventually, the reckless promotion of terrorism Gambill and others are committed to will once again call US soldiers, sailors, Marines, and airmen into harms way - either to fight nations defending themselves against US-sponsored terrorism, or to liquidate US-supported terrorists when their services are longer needed.

Gambill by causally saying, "there will be plenty of time to tame the beast after Iran's regional hegemonic ambitions have gone down in flames," means specifically more US troops will be deployed, and will most certainly die, all in the pursuit
of corporate-financier interests in the Middle East. Gambill specifically refers to "hegemonic ambitions," not any conceivable threat to US defense, as the impetus for cheering on terrorism, a theme that is omnipresent throughout US policy papers on Iran.

Legendary US Marine Corps General Smedley Butler once said "
war is a racket." For an increasing number of people worldwide, they are beginning to understand why.

A two dimensional Dog and Pony show that knows only one trick.........attack, attack, attack Iran.

.
.
.
.

It would be a pathetic Pyrrhic "victory' if by 2050 the Jewish empire of ERETZ Israel was ever achieved through some 3 dozen wars, millions killed, nations destroyed and Israel populated by 1.8 million zealots of a single passport holding nation of racially pure homogeneous people, containing only one religious group.

So its not going to happen.

But how much suffering and experience must be endured before this FACT and reality dawned on the zealots of Israel?

In Israel, Opposition to Attacking Iran Gains Upper Hand

by

The ambitions of a unilateral Israeli strike on Iran, as harbored by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defence Minister Ehud Barak, have been defeated by internal opposition. A growing number of observers have come to believe this in the wake of dramatic opposing statements by prominent Israeli leaders, including President Shimon Peres.

The picture emerging is one of the prime and defence ministers’ isolation in advocating for unilateral Israeli action.

It has been known for some time that the chief of staff of the Israel Defence Forces (IDF), Benny Gantz, and Tamir Pardo, the head of the Mossad, or the Israeli intelligence agency, both oppose a strike on Iran.

This knowledge in itself is unusual.

While such sentiments can be leaked, both Gantz and Pardo have been clear in media interviews that they do not share Netanyahu and Barak’s assessments regarding the immediacy of the Iranian threat or the utility of a military strike at Iran’s nuclear facilities.

(Isn't this how it should be in an open democracy as a pose to a dictatorship? The wisdom and perspectives of many men rather than the linear view of one or two, around critical state make and break issues.

Israel in this respect only can be a fine example for the USA, and other advanced countries who have pro-active foreign policies around globalist agenda's.

It would also help if Israel CLEARLY also backed away from installing "al-CIA-duh" in several Middle East regimes such as Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Syria, Yemen and Somalia, and so forth which guarantee continued future conflicts for Israel and the faggots in Western security, masturbating
and sodomizing their way, along with the future of the world.

It is the UK/USA who brought the mullahs into power after all in 1979, and deposed the pro-Israeli Shah of Iran puppet.....which has generated this latest faggotty obsessed saga for Israel and the world around the nonexistent nuke bomb program of the mullahs as verified by the IAEA, and American NIE 2007.)

It is worth noting that both Gantz and Pardo were appointed by the current government. Israeli journalist Nahum Barnea, writing in the daily Yediot Ahoronoth on Aug. 10, listed not only Gantz and Pardo among current military leaders opposing an Israeli attack on Iran,

but also Air Force chief Amir Eshel,

Military Intelligence chief Aviv Kochavi

and General Security Services (Shin Bet) director Yoram Cohen, in what amounts to a consensus among Israel’s top defence and intelligence leaders.

Public disagreement

But it was statements by Peres and by the former IDF Director of Military Intelligence General Uri Saguy that exposed the extent of Netanyahu and Barak’s isolation and criticised Israeli’s leaders on points rarely raised in public.

 Peres told Israel’s Channel 2:

“It is now clear to us that we cannot go it alone. We can forestall (Iran’s nuclear progress); therefore it’s clear to us that we have to work together with…America.”

( Peres disingenuously is not critiquing the overall policy that Iran must be attacked eventually to forestall an eventual nuke bomb program of Iran......but rather as to how it should be done. He is thus delaying a false policy for another day, rather than settling the matter by simply stating that Iran does not have a nuke bomb program as verified by the IAEA and NIE 2007. Peres does not solve the problem for Israel.

The problem and solution would be moved forward enormously if key figures in Israel simply stated that Iran does not have a nuke bomb program CLEARLY, UNAMBIGUOUSLY.......the MAIN SOURCE OF WHY WE ARE AT THIS PROBLEMATIC JUNCTURE......and that Israel has the absolute means to verify if the mullahs ever initiate a nuke bomb program. Independently by itself or with the USA.

Further and no less important that there are 40 nations around the world which have "Surge Program" , and that by attacking Iran...with the mullahs initiating a real nuke bomb program, many other nations will have actual live nuke bomb programs...and some of these states may also be hostile to Israel.

The debate needs to move further here by key Israeli figures with greater detail, clarity with the Israeli public, beyond narrow arguments that it is simply a bad idea to attack Iran over its alleged nuke bomb program, whether unilaterally or with the help of the USA )

“Iran is a global threat, to the U.S. and Israel alike,” he said, adding that he was convinced that the U.S. would take action when necessary.

(Mullah Iran was brought to power by the UK/USA in 1979, rather similarly in the way the USA/NATO/west/Israel is now doing by bringing "al-CIA-duh" into power in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Syria.......to the well connected Israelis the mullahs of Iran aren't the devils they don't know about.

Mullah Iran a "global threat" was defeated by CIA Saddam in 1988, and CIA Saddam was himself convincingly defeated by the USA, whose covert and open allies armed him in the first place.

Iran is NOT a great military power, with global ambitions, but rather a corrupt venal dictatorship where the mullahs wish to be left alone so that they can lord over the Iranian state coffers. That is why the mullahs offered Israel, through the USA a grand bargain for peace in 2003, which the Bush II junta rejected presumably after consultations..directions from Israel.

Mullah Iran, a so called "Global threat" according to Peres, at least since 2003 has not mounted a single ops of retaliation for the numerous Israeli illegalities that the state has conducted against Iran. This suggests mullah Iran is either incapable of being a threat, or does NOT seriously desires to be an aggressive threat against Israel.

That Iran is a threat to Israel's existence and that mullah Iran is conducting secret nuke bomb programs is utter balderdash
...and the Israelis know it.

So what we really have here, beyond the smoke and mirrors, is a desire by A FEW Messianic Israelis wishing to create Eretz Israel upon the ashes of existential regional threats.)

Peres’s statements were widely interpreted as criticism of Netanyahu’s and Barak’s ongoing attempts to pressure President Obama to attack Iran and the perception that Netanyahu was working to unseat Obama in favour of Republican candidate Mitt Romney, who is on much friendlier terms with Netanyahu.

There was also a widespread belief that Peres was warning that the tactics Netanyahu and Barak were employing with the U.S. threaten to harm the “special relationship” between the two countries.

While Israelis value their freedom to act on their own, they also recognise the need for U.S. support, as the United States is the only major power that has consistently supported controversial Israeli policies and actions.

The idea that the Israeli government may be directly interfering with U.S. politics is an extremely unpopular one in Israel.

 Diminished credibility

For his part, General Saguy cast doubt on the ability of Netanyahu and Barak to lead the country under dire circumstances.

A reporter who interviewed Saguy for the Israeli daily Ha’aretz described his views of both.

“Saguy does not trust (Netanyahu) because he has not seen him make…one single important decision. He does not trust Barak because he’s seen the results of many important decisions the minister has made, as chief of staff, prime minister and defence minister,” the reporter wrote.

This view from a highly respected Israeli military leader seriously undermines the credibility of Israel’s two leading decision-makers with regard to military action.

Combined with the military and intelligence consensus, the public statements suggest the possibility of an open revolt against the current leadership if Barak and Netanyahu try to move forward with an attack on Iran.

Netanyahu, however, sharply criticised Peres for “overstepping” his role as president, a largely ceremonial office in Israel. That sharp retort, as well as Netanyahu’s continued campaign among important Israeli party leaders, such as Rabbi Ovadia Yosef, the spiritual head of the Shas party, could indicate that he has not yet given up on finding a way to attack Iran.

It is widely believed that at least part of the Israeli strategy in beating the war drums on Iran is to pressure the Obama administration into acting against Iran’s nuclear facilities.

Netanyahu surely fears that if Israel is no longer believed to be seriously considering a unilateral strike, the urgency in Washington, already far less than he would like it to be, will diminish considerably.

Challenges for Obama

Obama’s position on Iran has been remarkably consistent: pursue sanctions and diplomatic engagement in the hope that Iran will agree to the monitoring of its nuclear program to ensure that weapons are not being developed.

Obama has also pledged that all options, including a military one, remain open to prevent Iran from obtaining such a weapon.

An Israeli strike could put Obama in a very difficult position: he could either risk staying out of a conflict not of his making, which would surely set Israel’s supporters in the United States ablaze in opposition to him, or he could support, either directly or indirectly, the Israeli war effort, which would make it easy to cast him to blame when oil prices skyrocket as a result.

With the Israeli threat diminished, at least for the moment, Obama can continue to pursue his approach to Iran with a reasonable level of confidence that this will not hurt his chances of re-election in November.

That surely does not please Netanyahu, but unless the situation changes in Israel, he will find it very difficult to raise this issue again before the election.

The Richard Aoki Story: More Evidence the FBI Runs Violent Political Groups

Kurt Nimmo at Infowars.com

Over the past few years, Infowars.com has provided ample evidence that the FBI is intimately involved in creating radical and violent political groups that are used as propaganda by the government to push for further implementation of a police state.

We have consistently underscored the fact that a post-COINTELPRO effort is operating in the United States and is being used to demonize legitimate and constitutionally protected opposition to the government. From supposed white supremacist Hal Turner operating for years as a prized national security asset and provocateur to a long line of Muslim patsies manipulated in ludicrous terror stings subsequently exploited to hype the government’s increasingly repressive war on terror, we have documented without a doubt that COINTELPRO is alive and well, despite the FBI claiming it put the illegal program to rest back in the 1970s.

Now we learn that the very apex of 1960s radicalism in the United States – the Black Panthers – was compromised by the FBI.

“The man who gave the Black Panther Party some of its first firearms and weapons training – which preceded fatal shootouts with Oakland police in the turbulent 1960s – was an undercover FBI informer, according to a former bureau agent and an FBI report,” writes researcher and author Seth Rosenfeld.

(The FBI kill policemen just so they can create 'vital' work for themselves, and subvert and misdirect peaceful legitimate social activists within the democracy of the USA. The FBI should be disbanded alone for this great crime)

That man was Richard Masato Aoki, a Japanese American with a reputation as an extreme militant who bragged about his street fighting ability against Bay Area cops. “But unbeknownst to his fellow activists, Aoki had served as an FBI intelligence informant, covertly filing reports on a wide range of Bay Area political groups, according to the bureau agent who recruited him,” Rosenfeld writes.

Aoki’s story serves as a warning – the most radical political activists, those calling for violence and the wholesale destruction of property, should face intense scrutiny by default. The government naturally has a vested interest in fomenting violence that can be cynically exploited as a vehicle to characterize all political action outside of the mainstream as terrorism.

COINTELPRO was far too successful for the government to discontinue it.

(Well what is success? You have an American elite which promotes subversion around the world, along with revolution (Fidel Castro of the CIA, Gaddafi, Nasser, Saddam Hussein, Diem, Noriega and now the color revolutions of the 'Really cool dude" set), AND yet the government in the 1960's hyper-monitored a few hundred liberal individuals because they held left leaning political views along with peaceful activism. Left alone such people would not have really threatened the existence of the USA. The FBI's work amounted to nothing within COINTELPRO)

It led to the destruction of the black nationalist movement, factionalized the civil rights movement, and destroyed a large and thriving antiwar movement during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

(I'm not so sure about the last one....I think the antiwar movement in the 1960's played a decisive role in shaping public consciousness about the illegality and horror of war to the fore. That and the natural zeal and success of the Vietcong, along with the sacrifices of the Vietnamese people who ultimately DEFEATED the imperialist USA forces finally. All this despite the "cleverness" of the FBI )

Informants of Richard Aoki’s ilk are still active today. The FBI has more informants, operatives and agents provocateurs working undercover now than at any time during its long and sordid history.

The USA empire at permanent war using the fifth column filth of "al-CIA-duh"

.

I don't know, as the USA's policies become more transparent....is it inevitable that it fails there after?

Eventually how do you hide a 1000 bases around the world empire, with multiple wars in several theaters whether directly involved or through dingo proxies.

Obama's bizarre threats indicative of losing strategy and increasing desperation.

by Tony Cartalucci
US-led NATO forces armed, funded, trained, and even provided air support for Libyan terrorists emanating out of Libya's eastern Cyrenaica region - most notably Benghazi which had served as the premier international terrorist recruiting ground in the world, according to the US Army's Combating Terrorism Center, producing a percentage per capita of militants outstripping even that of Saudi Arabia.

Operating under the banner of the "Libyan Islamic Fighting Group" (LIFG), a US State Department, British Home Office, and United Nations-listed international terrorist organization, and officially merged with Al Qaeda in 2007, its commanders including Abdul Hakim Belhaj and Mahdi al-Harati led NATO's military proxy forces on the ground as US, French, and British planes destroyed the nation from the air.

(So thanks to the USA/NATO subversion, destabilization and invasion, Libya, the "Switzerland of Africa" has now become a failed state which is the primary safe haven for "al-CIA-duh"....and primary repository for CIA/Pentagon irregular warfare for the promotion of the USA empire, replacing invaded occupied narco-state Afghanistan 1989--2001)

These very same commanders of this very same listed-terrorist organization would then turn its cash, weapons, and fighters on Syria, as early as November 2011, arriving on the Turkish-Syrian border to enjoy yet another NATO safe haven and logistical networks overseen by Western intelligence along with US funding and arms laundered through Gulf Cooperative Council (GCC) members such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia.

Image: Libyan Mahdi al-Harati of the US State Department, United Nations, and the UK Home Office (page 5, .pdf)-listed terrorist organization, the Libyan Islamic Fighting Group (LIFG), addressing fellow terrorists in Syria. Harati is now commanding a Libyan brigade operating inside of Syria attempting to destroy the Syrian government and subjugate the Syrian population. Traditionally, this is known as "foreign invasion."
....

In essence, just as Al Qaeda had served as an "Arab Foreign Legion" for the US in Afghanistan in the 1980's during its inception, it once again is serving as a foreign legion inside Syria, fighting Washington's proxy war against the Syrian government.

It appears however that unlike in Afghanistan where Al Qaeda fought alongside a sizable indigenous force against foreign Soviet troops, the tactical environment is revered - where Washington's proxy terrorist forces are foreigners facing a highly motivated, well organized, and better armed indigenous Syrian Army.

(Errm.....if the Christians, Alawites, secular Sunni Moslems allied to the ruling Baathist Socialist Party lose, they will be massacred, raped, killed, tortured, made homeless, exiled from their country....whilst their country is occupied and destroyed by "al-CIA-duh"....so they are motivated to fight and defend the honor of their country against the forces of empire hegemony and injustice)
US Machinations Unraveling  - Shareholders Face Liquidation

Coordinated attempts by NATO and its proxy forces to invade and overrun the cities of Damascus and Aleppo in July and early August have failed, with proxy forces being expelled after suffering sizable loses. An attempt to decapitate Syria's leadership in a bombing in central Damascus also fell flat, with high ranking officials quickly replaced, followed quickly by a cohesive military counter offensive.

The bombing was also followed by the mysterious disappearance of Saudi Arabia's Bandar "Bush" Bin Sultan, who if confirmed assassinated, may indicate that NATO's plans are suffering at even the highest levels of organization.

Compounding the West's attempts to overthrow the government of Syria, is the increasing support Syria has been receiving due to Iranian efforts to assemble international forums
representing half of the world's population, condemning the support of foreign interference and promoting alternatives to the violent destabilization being carried out by the West. A 30 member conference was held ahead of the annual Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) meeting in Tehran, Iran - and another meeting will be held again on the sidelines of NAM toward the end of August.

Image: An impressive counter to the so-called "Friends of Syria" confabs held by Wall Street and London corporate-financier interests in an attempt to sway global opinion toward a repeat of Libya's destruction at NATO's hands, the International Consultative Conference hosed by Iran seeks to end the flow of foreign arms into militant hands and resolve political differences through more civilized means.
....

With the tactical situation inside Syria deteriorating for Western proxies and international consensus shifting in unprecedented directions against Washington and London, shareholders in the West's latest adventure appear to be making tacit moves to divest their support and protect their own interests, lest they be left with the ignominious results of an increasingly compounding failure.
Obama's Recent Threats

With this in mind, the US has been making increasingly unhinged "Bush-esque" remarks regarding "weapons of mass destruction" in Syria and attempting to expand the pretexts under which it could "militarily intervene." Even the very "movement" of Syria's "unconventional weapons" in a "threatening manner," US President Barack Obama claimed in a recent statement, would constitute a "red line."

Obama claims that the US "fears" Syria's unconventional weapons "falling into the hands of the wrong people." If the US is willfully arming, funding, and threatening to back militarily, listed Al Qaeda terrorist organizations, then whose hands is the US referring to? And while the US struggles to foment victory in Syria, it seems to have stretched its support for terrorism all the way to Russia's Caucasus Mountains, reigniting violence there, linked to Al Qaeda as well.

Image: The Washington Consensus' shrinking legitimacy is proportionally matched to its increasingly untenable perpetuation. Its unjustified, disastrous military adventure in Libya seems to have resulted in a Pyrrhic victory, hobbling the institutions and legitimacy it needed to likewise undermine and overthrow the Syrian government in a timely fashion. Overstretched, it appears the West is even trying to strike at Russia with terrorist proxies that now span from North Africa all the way to the Caucasus Mountains.
....

To say that the US is overstretched is an understatement.

It is overstretched politically, economically, and tactically.

It risks a historically unprecedented collapse that would destroy all shareholders invested in its increasingly unhinged and transparently illegitimate ambitions.

Nations, in particular GCC members, are beginning to realize with acute alarm that their support of Washington's agenda is now threatening their very self-preservation.

A victory even at this point would still likely be Pyrrhic.

No matter how well Syria goes for the West from this point on, the mechanisms it has used to get here, including its "Responsibility to Protect" (R2P) doctrine, the legitimacy of the UN, the West's so-called commitment to "human rights," and the narrative of the so-called "War on Terror" have been undermined beyond salvage.

One can only imagine the mountains Washington is promising to move in order to keep its allies lined up behind them, particularly the ruling governments of Turkey and the GCC.

For an elitist clique that has prided itself in "realist" political discourse, it has become increasingly surrealist. Whether or not Washington's allies mirror this surrealism all the way to their own demise, remains to be seen.

Blue is not conservative, red is not left-wing

Popular perception, at least in the UK is that when general elections take place, people are exercising their rights to vote for the better party and leader that will lead the country, and to a greater extent represent their particular interests.

In most sophisticated post-industrial states it does not work that way.

Democracy does not exist.

A charade of democracy, along with formality exists which gives the illusion that people have a say in which leaders they choose, and which set of policies of the party they can endorse.

But in reality in such societies the leaders are rarely beholden to the people, and more often then not disappoint rather than meet expectations, subsequent to coming to power and initiating their policies.

In the USA the elites rule the country, and democracy is an utter sham.

The elites decide which President will be elected well before the November voting, and then interpreted as such through the compromised Diebold machines.

Only 78% of all adult Americans can vote, and a whopping 22% are disenfranchised. Of that 78% only 50% of that figure actually turn out and vote in FIXED pre-determined elections.

So the USA Emperor is purportedly chosen by about 20% of ALL adults in the USA, but in reality is not elected but appointed.

Its not bad as the Soviet elections of Commissars of course, where certain candidates received 99.99%, but no less different substantively in that election outcomes are pre-determined by the elite and not the people.

The USA had more democracy in the 19th century, then it does now in the 21st century.

The USA is more of an empire now with 1000 military bases around the world, and multiple wars, and the President an emperor.

You can't have a democracy within an empire at permanent war.

Clearly race baiting, and creating religious discord goes with extending such an empire as it wages further multiple wars against people of color in the Third World. The CIA groomed puppet of Wall Street is an integral part of that process as is the massive immigration of Third World people, often illiterate and unskilled, into first world societies.

Country music icon Hank Williams Jr. told the Iowa State Fair Grandstand Friday night that America has “a Muslim president who hates farming, hates the military, hates the US and we hate him!”

Hank’s playing right into the hands of the establishment and its ever useful false left-right paradigm.

In fact, Obama’s likes and dislikes are irrelevant. Like all actors, he is playing a part and reading from a script.

He does not hate the military. He has no opinion about it. But the illusion that he hates it manipulates his base, Democrats and “progressives” who loathe and misunderstand the true role of the military even as their idol pretends to be the man in charge of drone attacks slaughtering school children and wedding party guests.

He is not a Muslim. He is a non-religious front man for a criminal globalist syndicate that has killed millions of Muslims.

Obama does not hate farming. He is a teleprompter reading spokesman for a system that has turned farming into a monopoly controlled by transnational corporations that produce GMO franken foods in third world cesspools.

His administration is stacked with the same bankster and corporate controlling interests that a Romney administration will be, that is if the global elite decide to get rid of Obama during the upcoming choreographed dog and pony show we are told represents a “democratic” election.

Hank Williams Jr. supports Romney, but says he does not plan to help out his campaign. It’s really too bad he is yet another poster child for endless mass murder and the bankster end game that hates America despite who may be warming a seat in the Oval Office.

So-called conservatives like to say Hollywood liberals are knee-jerk supporters for America-hating Democrats. Hank Williams Jr.’s comments reveal that so-called conservatives are saps for murderous neocons who also hate America.
Some things never change and there is a sucker born every minute.

Israel attack on Iran will land Israel in disaster: Mofaz

Former Israeli deputy prime minister, Shaul Mofaz (file photo)
Former Israeli deputy prime minister, Shaul Mofaz (file photo)

A former deputy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says a military attack against Iran over its nuclear energy program will drag Tel Aviv into the vortex of a disastrous war.

"I hope very much we don't reach such a war because it would be a disaster,” Shaul Mofaz said in an interview with Channel 2 of Israeli television on Friday.
He described Israel’s possible strike against Iran as “hasty” and “irresponsible” and reiterated that a military attack could only “delay” Tehran’s nuclear energy program but would “bring upon us a disastrous war," Reuters reported.
(1. Post attack on Iran will encourage the mullahs to convert an otherwise peaceful legitimate civilian nuclear program into a nuclear bomb program, with the help of other countries. Those elements in Iran security who would like a nuke bomb program would have a stronger hand within the regime, after any attack.

2. A far greater physical logistical military security effort will be required by Israel to prevent a live nuke bomb program there after in Iran after an attack, then is required now under the International IAEA inspection regime of the peaceful present civilian nuke program.

3. Will encourage some of the 40 or so countries around the world who have "Surge programs" to go for full nuclear bomb programs........some of these countries may not all be favourably disposed to Israel, and its unilateral security policies which destabilises the world.

4. Through insecurity paranoia and hegemony via the USA mostly, Israel will make an otherwise acceptable situation far worse.)

The US, Israel and some of their allies accuse Tehran of pursuing military objectives in its nuclear energy program.

Tel Aviv has repeatedly threatened Tehran with a military strike to pressure it to halt its nuclear energy work.

On August 9, Israeli Minister of Military Affairs Ehud Barak told Israeli radio, "We are determined to prevent Iran from becoming nuclear and all the options are on the table. When we say it, we mean it.”

Iran refutes the allegations over its nuclear energy program and maintains that as a signatory to the nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and a committed member of the International Atomic Energy Agency it has every right to develop and acquire nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.

Iranian officials have also promised a crushing response to any military strike against the country.

Too Big to Fail, Too big to jail.

.
.
.
.
Is it a white star?

Is it the Western Roman Empire in 410 AD?

Or is it simply the International Jews and Wall Street?

In the sophisticated USA with all its cultural nuances and advanced education, along with its technology, many people can correctly identify the malaise in their country, including the online writer below. BUT few seem to know the proper solution for their country, in the current circumstances.

Generally the USA has been successful as with many other advanced countries, precisely because it is a society focused on the future unburdened by history, and the ability to correct itself if and when problems arise within the state.

Third World countries however are unable to do that, either because they lack the national psyche and education to identify the problem, or they lack the national will to solve the problem. Third World nations thus struggle on and continue as business as usual with such national problems.

Too Big Too Prosecute – the New Age of Barbarism

by Scott Creighton at American Everyman blog.

When they declared that the certain banks who had colluded with each other, the housing industry, the rating agencies, and the government to create the newest depression we are facing, to be “Too Big Too Fail” what they did was in essence also declare that they were too big too investigate and certainly too big too prosecute.

These banks convinced Vishy politicians on the left and the right to support comprehensive Wall Street deregulation, the repeal of Glass-Steagall, and the unholstering of the derivatives market (derivatives were illegal in this country for 60 years or so after the last depression). Then they pumped and dumped the CDS and other toxic assets they created with their “liar loans” in sub-prime markets and profited off bets they placed on the failure of their own clients. Then they had the gall to threaten martial law if the people didn’t fork over 780 billion in bailouts (which they never used to ease lending restrictions) and got an additional 12 trillion or so in 0% interest loans (which they never used to ease lending restrictions).

And they did the same trick across Europe, wiping out their economies as well.
You don’t have to be a conspiracy theorist at this point to read the writing on the wall. After all, the TARP bailout was the most universally opposed piece of legislation that I can remember in my lifetime ( a close second being the FISA reform which gave retroactive immunity to telecom companies for helping Uncle Sam spy on all of us illegally). Everyone saw this coming and here it is.
No prosecution for Goldman Sachs and no prosecution for Jon Corzine for misplacing 1.2 billion dollars in his customer’s money. No prosecution for war crimes, no prosecution for torture, no prosecution for assassinations and the wanton murder of US citizens. No prosecution for waging acts of terrorism against innocent people across the globe on behalf of global corporations and the financial industry. No prosecution for stealing elections and murdering foreign leaders who oppose our corporate interests.

I don’t know what the word is too describe this. Maybe it’s “barbaric”.
1
a : of, relating to, or characteristic of barbarians b : possessing or characteristic of a cultural level more complex than primitive savagery but less sophisticated than advanced civilization
2
a : marked by a lack of restraint : wild b : having a bizarre, primitive, or unsophisticated quality
“A criminal investigation into the collapse of the brokerage firm MF Global and the disappearance of about $1 billion in customer money is now heading into its final stage without charges expected against any top executives.

After 10 months of stitching together evidence on the firm’s demise, criminal investigators are concluding that chaos and porous risk controls at the firm, rather than fraud, allowed the money to disappear, according to people involved in the case.” New York Times
In fact, Corzine looks like he is going to start a new hedge fund. I wonder where he will get the start-up money? I bet he has about 1.2 billion bucks laying around somewhere he can create his next ponzi scheme with.
You kinda half expect him to come out with one of those “I’m Sorry” commercials that BP did after they wasted the Gulf of Mexico and the entire Gulf Coast.
.
.
Not surprizingly, the Attorney General of President Peace Prize has refused to bring charges against Goldman Sachs, the masters of the universe. Matt Taibbi went off on this one just yesterday for Rolling Stone…
“I’ve been on deadline in the past week or so, so I haven’t had a chance to weigh in on Eric Holder’s predictable decision to not pursue criminal charges against Goldman, Sachs for any of the activities in the report prepared by Senators Carl Levin and Tom Coburn two years ago.

Last year I spent a lot of time and energy jabbering and gesticulating in public about what seemed to me the most obviously prosecutable offenses detailed in the report – the seemingly blatant perjury before congress of Lloyd Blankfein and other Goldman executives, and the almost comically long list of frauds committed by the company in its desperate effort to unload its crappy “cats and dogs” mortgage-backed inventory.

In the notorious Hudson transaction, for instance, Goldman claimed, in writing, that it was fully “aligned” with the interests of its client, Morgan Stanley, because it owned a $6 million slice of the deal. What Goldman left out is that it had a $2 billion short position against the same deal.

If that isn’t fraud, Mr. Holder, just what exactly is fraud?” Matt Taibbi
Each time they get away with these horrible crimes, crimes that have serious effects on countless lives, we can pretty much guarantee that the next thing they dream up will cost us more and damage the economy more until they actually and literally take every single dime out of this nation. They’re a shakedown racket like none that has existed before in this country and that includes the Wall Street traitors who brought about the crash of 29 and the first Great Depression.

There’s a case that just finished in the 7th Circuit Court I believe in which a financial institution was taking their clients money, without their knowledge, and using it as collateral for their own high risk loans. The court ruled that it was ok what they were doing. I can’t remember the exact case (someone help me out) but it appears the court set a precedent allowing financial institutions to simply take their customer’s money in certain circumstances.

[edit: H/T elmysterio -  the case is the Sentinel Management Group case with a good write up, here]

This is horrifying considering that the Feds just warned the banking industry that something is about to implode and they better find another way to stay afloat because the Fed won’t be there to bail them out (really what that means is they will bailout out the big 6 banks in this country but not the rest allowing them to buy up all the rest for pennies on the dollar, just like they did with the last bailout bundle)

In California they are using eminent domain laws to seize houses that are simply “at risk” in their mortgages and then handing them over to the banks. Many see this as the most obvious effort to date to return us to a feudal system of government.

The key to allowing all of this to happen is the absence of any legitimate rule of law in America. Only the working people and the poor need to worry about the law. It doesn’t exist for anyone else. The law is simply a tool to enforce the oppression of the elites upon the people and not to level the playing field for society. It’s meaningless.

Don’t take my word for it. Here’s Noam Chomsky and Glenn Greenwald talking about just this very issue last month…
.
.
By “looking forward not backward”and creating “too big too fail” institutions, this country has slipped into something well past feudalism and I have to admit that I don’t have the education to know what that word is.

Maybe the word is “barbaric”. Maybe it’s something worse.
And they’re just getting started.
