US and Afghan officials told The Washington Post that the US has closed at least 10 of its bases in Afghanistan since signing a peace deal with the Taliban in February. The closures are part of the drawdown process. The US is expected to bring troop numbers down to 2,500 by January 15th.
Some of the officials said the US is making decisions about whether certain military equipment will be turned over to the Afghan government or sent back to the US. Despite the drawdowns, one official said the US will still be able to carry out airstrikes against the Taliban and ISIS.
The US-Taliban peace deal paved the way for all foreign troops to leave Afghanistan by Spring 2021. It’s not yet clear if the full withdrawal will happen. The incoming Biden administration could use the recent uptick in violence in the country as an excuse to stay.
In an interview with Stars and Stripes in September, Joe Biden said he could not promise a full withdrawal from Afghanistan. Biden said he would prefer to keep a small troop presence in the country, as well as in Iraq and Syria.

“We are not a people of perpetual war — it is the antithesis of everything for which we stand and for which our ancestors fought. All wars must end,” the memo reads. “Ending wars requires compromise and partnership. We met the challenge; we gave it our all. Now, it’s time to come home.”

The US Federal Election Commission Chairman Trey Trainor believes voter fraud is taking place in states still counting ballots and that the 2020 US Presidential Elections may be illegitimate.

During a Friday appearance on Newsmax TV’s “National Report,” Trainor said locations not granting observers access to watch the ballot counting process could be involved in voter fraud.
“I do believe that there is voter fraud taking place in these places,” he said. “Otherwise they would allow the observers to go in.”
Despite winning a court order, which allows the Trump campaign to send observers to watch ballot counting in Pennsylvania from six feet away, Trainor said ballot watchers “have not been allowed into the polling locations in a meaningful way.”
He said when observers have been permitted to watch, the goalpost has been moved away from the six feet required by the court order.
He said the lawsuits filed by the Trump campaign are “very valid allegations” that need to be “fully vetted” by the court system. He predicts some of the legal challenges will likely end up in the Supreme Court.

President Trump’s Pentagon Shake-Up Could Lead to Troop Withdrawals
Sources told media outlets that the firings were done partly due to disagreements on withdrawals

A major overhaul at the Pentagon that was started with the firing of former Secretary of Defense Mark Esper could be part of President Trump’s plan to carry out last-minute troop withdrawals from countries like Afghanistan, sources have told several media outlets.
A Trump administration official told The Washington Post late Tuesday night that President Trump is still determined to withdraw troops around the world before leaving office. “He sees the Pentagon as the leader of the resistance to his agenda,” the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity.
Another administration official told the Post that the shake-up that was ordered by the White House coincided with debates about the pace of troop withdrawals from places like Afghanistan and Somalia.
The Intercept published a story on Wednesday that cited a Trump administration official who made similar claims. The official said the overhaul was planned for months, and more firings are expected. “The president is taking back control of DoD. It’s a rebirth of foreign policy. This is Trump foreign policy,” the official said.
Lee Fang at The Intercept writes: “The personnel changes, the official claimed, would help clear the way for a more loyal Pentagon apparatus to carry out Trump’s goals, including the last-minute withdrawal of troops from foreign conflicts.”
Sources told CNN’s Jake Tapper that the firings could have happened because Esper and his team were pushing back on a withdrawal from Afghanistan.
In October, President Trump said on Twitter that all US troops in Afghanistan “should” be home by Christmas. But so far, the tweet has not turned into an order. Current troop numbers in Afghanistan are around 4,000, and National Security Advisor Robert O’Brien has said the US is on track to have 2,500 troops left in Afghanistan by early 2021.
Bloomberg reported in October that President Trump wants to bring hundreds of US troops from Somalia. According to the report, the Pentagon began drafting plans for a withdrawal, and high-level discussions over the potential move took place. But so far, like Afghanistan, no orders have been given to remove troops from Somalia.
If only the Trump administration could be filled with such sane balanced people, from end to end.
Axios confirmed on Wednesday that Retired Army Col. Douglas Macgregor has been hired as a senior advisor to acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller, who replaced Esper.
Macgregor is outspoken in his belief that the US should immediately withdraw from Afghanistan. In a 2019 interview, he said the US should “run” not walk out of Afghanistan.
The Taliban is CIA, as part of the 'Arc of Crisis' and 'Operation Cyclone' policy from the 1970's......it is now 40 years later, the Soviet Union is gone. The policy has run its course....Cyrus will not appear from the Mountains of Afghanistan, even with the aid of the best whisperers from Rothchilds London.

BREAKING: Michigan County Discovered Omitting Votes for Trump

In the most divisive, contested, Presidential election in American history, the public is being told of voter irregularities happening in Detroit. But even in supposedly safe Republican areas, votes for President Trump are appearing to be suppressed, with an alleged 600 discovered today in just one Michigan precinct.
Jay Deboyer is the County Clerk for St. Clair County, which is currently 2-1 in favor of Trump, and blames hitting the “wrong button” for causing President Trump’s totals to be a significant number of votes off. This mistake is critical in Michigan where its critical 16 electoral votes are separated by 80,000 votes statewide according to the New York Times.
Michigan has 83 Counties, and St. Clair County has 163,040 people according to the Census, as of this past August there were 127,963 registered voters in the qualified voter file, the “QVF”. The County today reports 134,248 registered voters, of whom 92,670 voted in the November 3, 2020 election.
Eagle-eyed State Representative Shane Hernandez (R) spotted the vote discrepancy being reported in his home County of St. Clair, up in Michigan’s northeastern “thumb” area. Contacting his County Clerk about the apparent discrepancy in precincts Marysville 2 and 3, where it showed no absentee ballots for the President, the Clerk fixed the error and updated the totals mid-day today.
“I saw that there were missing votes in the County and worked to find them, and realized the absentees were missing,” Rep. Hernandez said. “Activists need to check every County for votes like this, this was a complicated election and the Presidency might very well come down to a few thousand votes. I was able to find these problems just sitting at home, I hope everyone looks into this and finds and fixes any problems.”
Many Michigan counties don’t properly post or make available their datasets for easy comparison and review by the public and it will take time for others with sufficient experience and skill to review the published results to ensure that they are accurately reporting President Trump’s vote.

It seems that we all will have to fill up our popcorn supplies as the rather comical and disgraceful process of U.S. vote counting is likely to continue until maybe December 8, the safe harbor date on which the states will have to certify their electors.
The race is nowhere near where the Democrats and their supporting media had expected it to go. Just last week polls claimed that Biden would lead in Wisconsin by 17 percent. The current margin is a rather dubious 0.6 percent which upcoming recounts may well eliminate.
That the Democrats lose House seats, do not win the Senate and barely manage to drag their demented presidential candidate towards a stalemate tells a lot about their lack of sane policies. A donor party completely disinterested in what the people really want - medicare for all, no more wars for Israel, stimulate the economy and stimulus cheques, no fracking etc. - will have little chance to survive a future onslaught of conservatives with a more competent figurehead than Donald Trump.
There will be protests, probably violent ones, and more legal action from either side. I see no comprise possible that would satisfy both parties. I fear that, should Trump lose this election. Trumpism will only grow and make the U.S. ungovernable.
Maybe Trump and Biden could publicly draw straws to get over with it.
Have faith in the good American people, trust them, work hard for them.....and do not run off to Israel...(Aliyah)
