Naturally Iran should forge greater closer economic relations with China. China is the biggest economy on earth unofficially. China is the biggest exporter on earth officially. China is the biggest industrial power on earth officially with steel production reaching 650 million tons this year, and 4500 billion kWt electricity production, and thus naturally the greatest military power in a few years; where Chinese military technology catches up with the JEWSA.
Persia since the Achaemenid Empire (558–330 BC) has always enjoyed good close relations with China for 2500 years. Perhaps a joint academic mission can be established with academics from both countries to rediscover this very old relationship.
Incidentally of interest, given the "Second Arab invasion and occupation" of Persia in 1979, Yazdegird's III son, Peroz the last Emperor of Sassanid Empire (224–651 AD), also fled to China, after the Arab conquest in AD 644, where he was appointed as a general within the Chinese empire, and given a small army to command within Tang China.
The corrupt grasping mullahs love for money means that from the huge amounts of profits made from the petro-$, a significant amount is embezzled by the mullahs thieves (3) and stored in secret banks around the world, or invested in property in the Arab Gulf (3). That is why exports for 2010-2011 were $107 billion, whilst imports a meager $60 billion.
The mullahs take the oil money out of the Iranian economic circulation and invest in foreign accounts and investment, and the reason why Iran's economy/GDP grew by only 3% despite record oil revenues. There is imbalance in China/Iran trade with China importing $20 billion worth of Iranian products, whilst Iran imports only $10 billion worth of Chinese products for 2010.
Whilst China must be happy about increasing trade with Iran towards $100 billion in the near future, they will NEVER BE HAPPY if the trade balance of Iran/China trade is based on a ratio of $30 billion Chinese imports into Iran, and $70 billion imports by China from Iran.
The Iranian government must take positive initiatives to bolster trade with China by investing in an additional 3 million barrels of oil exports a lot of which will go to China, India and Japan (loss of nuclear power), BUT must also draw up strategic plans to spend the extra income from exports to China......with investment plans for INDUSTRY, INFRASTRUCTURE AND defense industries which are built by China.
Mullahs must not think they can merely trade by exporting to nations, and then pocketing the profits..........in their secret accounts (3). The must also buy goods from other nations. Trade in the pure sense is a two way thing.
The Mullahs must not do what the Shah did, put a huge amount of the petro-$ profits in Western Jewish banks ........$40--70 billion at todays prices, which have never been returned to the Iranian people.
The Mullahs must not do what Gaddafi has done, put a huge amount of the petro-$ profits in Western Jewish banks........$100 billion at today's prices. All of it lost, and now some of it being funneled to the "al-Qaeda" rebels fighting his regime. The rest of the funds have been wasted by the Jewish banks in poor risky investments and speculation.
The Mullahs must not do what the Saudi's have done, put a huge amount of the petro-$ profits in Jewish Western banks, and Jewish Western businesses (Murdocks media empire, as but ONE simple example which incidentally spews out anti-Arab propaganda on a daily basis, but the stupid Saudi camels fail to see the problem in this)........$500--700 billion at today's prices.
And so the mullahs must not steal (3) ALL the profits from oil, but must strategically spend this money on INDUSTRY built by China, INFRASTRUCTURE built by China, and defense factories built by China.
By building defense industries with Chinese help in Iran, the Chinese government circumvent the diplomatic pressure from the JEWSA not to sell arms to Iran.
This is what Pakistan has been doing seriously since the 1990's with Chinese help, and the reason why they now produce their own tanks, jet planes and missiles of ALL variety.
Iran has to show at a serious level its intent to increase its ties with China.....not merely through speeches.

Iran urges expanded China trade ties
By Presstv.com
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has called for more trade ties with China, saying there is no limit for expanding bilateral relations.
President Ahmadinejad also urged closer collaborations in energy, space technology and tourism spheres in a Saturday meeting with He Guoqiang, a senior official of China's Communist Party , IRNA reported.
The president noted that Tehran and Beijing aim to increase their trade exchanges in near future, saying, "The main objective pursued by both countries is to quickly bring our economic and trade exchanges to $100 billion.”
“Today we should join hands and move in line with the progress of our nations because future belongs to our nations,” he went on to say.
Guoqiang said in turn that the Islamic Republic of Iran is one of China's most important trading partners, emphasizing that China seeks to strengthen its cooperation with Iran.
He also added that further expansion of relations with Tehran is in the interest of both nations as well as regional countries.
Earlier in the day, Iranian Vice President Mohammad-Javad Mohammadizadeh and Guoqiang signed a series of agreements worth $4 billion for infrastructure projects as part of plans to increase the volume of trade transactions between the two Asian countries.
Iran and the People's Republic of China established diplomatic relations on August 16, 1971.
Iran is currently China's third largest supplier of crude oil, providing China with roughly 12 percent of its total annual oil consumption.
The volume of Iran-China trade stood at about $30 billion in 2010.
