IDF False Flag Technique Spurs Turkish Reprisal Against Syria
by Scott Creighton at American everyman blog.
Syrian
Information Minister Omran al-Zoubi has announced that they are
looking into the source of Wednesday’s cross border mortar attack into
Turkey which reportedly took the lives of 5 people in the border town of
Akcakale.
Turkey
has used the incident as justification for two days of shelling
military targets inside Syria. They are building up their military
presence on the border of Syria by sending in tanks and apparently
preparing for some kind of incursion into the neighboring country.
Neoliberal NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen says they
still have no plans to “intervene” in the Syrian conflict like they did
in Libya (meaning “bomb the sh*t out of their infrastructure like they
did in Libya”) but they do stand ready to “defend
Turkey if necessary“
Remember, over a month ago, Turkey called for setting up some kind of
“buffer zone” inside Syria where the FSA could safely operate their
terrorist destabilization campaign. Aside from the fact that this event
just happens to be the perfect pretext Turkey and NATO needed to set up
these “buffer zones’, there are other several reasons to suspect that
this event was staged in a manner strikingly similar to IDF tactics used
in Israel’s ongoing conflict against Hamas in Gaza.
Turkish
parliament has authorized cross border operations into Syria as a
direct result of this incident. Some say it is practically a declaration
of war against Syria. At the very least, it is the first step in
bringing NATO in to either attack Syria or set-up a “no-fly” zone much
like the one they used as the pretext to bomb Libya into submission.
He stressed that Turkey’s priority was to act in conjunction with “international institutions” on Syria.
… You can wage a world war with [this motion],”Hürriyet Daily News cites him as saying.
Ince also lambasted the fact that the session took place behind closed doors.
“Why would you hide this from the people? Will it be your children that go to war? People are not going to know why they have sent their children to war,” he said. RT
Turkey is citing their NATO treaty calling for a multinational
military response to the mortar attacks. This is just what NATO wants, a
pretext to begin a full invasion of Syria. Not surprisingly NATO says it
“stands with” it’s partner Turkey.
Turkey’s Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said “Turkey is a sovereign country, there was an attack towards Turkey’s mainland and our citizens lost their lives. Without a doubt, there is a response to this in international law.”
“Turkey is a NATO member. Certain NATO treaty articles bring about certain liabilities should one of its members be attacked in any way. We will not act without reason, but when our citizens die and our mainland is attacked, we will protect our rights to the end,” Arinc promised” RT
The hypocrisy of this is beyond obvious. We have been supporting
militarily and funding and even shipping in the various terrorist
organizations that have been attacking civilian, economic, and military
targets inside Syria since the beginning of this “uprising” over a year
ago. The Syrian mainland has been attacked, their civilians have died as
a direct result of our efforts and NATOs efforts in Syria. For Turkey
and leaders like Hillary Clinton to feign outrage over the deaths of 5
Turkish citizens while they openly support the terrorists who have
killed thousands in Syria is beyond hypocrisy. It’s damn near evil.
But, there are a lot of factors involved in this situation that, when
you look at them, seem to indicate this situation stems from a false
flag attack from those self same terrorists Clinton and NATO and Turkey
supports.
Also of note: the details would seem to suggest potential Israeli
Defense Forces fingerprints on it.
Consider this:
1. Using Presidential Debate as Cover
Back in 2008, the IDF used the presidential election as cover for
their cross border attack on a target inside Gaza which killed 6 Hamas
security people.
This IDF attack was in direct violation of a truce which even the
Israelis have admitted Hamas had respected up until that point.
When Hamas retaliated, the press aided by Israeli public relations
firms, falsely accused Hamas of violating the terms of the peace
agreement with no reason. Forgotten until some time afterward and the
diligent investigations of various alternative writers, was the IDF
attack covered by the media blanket of the U.S. Presidential Elections.
This time, the mortar attack took place on the day of the
presidential debates here in the U.S. Main stream press coverage of the
mortar attack and Syria’s apology is practically non-existent. All that
is being said now is that Syria launched the mortar attack and Turkey is
within their rights to strike back.
Again we see the first punch thrown gets very little attention due to
the fact that it happened on a day that all eyes were focused
elsewhere. Just like election night 2008 and the IDF attack in Gaza.
2. Cross Border Incursions and False Flag Attacks
It’s well understood that the IDF uses complicit Palestinians to
cross into Gaza and launch some homemade rockets into Israel so they can
justify various operations from time to time. They can also then claim
they are the perpetual victims in the conflict to the point where they
literally have a shrine filled with the remains of the stupid little
homemade rockets.
The Turkish town that was hit by the mortars is literally a hundred
yards from the border if that. It has a sister township right across the
border, Tell Abiad. These localities are only a matter of feet from
each other. (click on image for larger view)
This close proximity has made Akcakale very useful to the NATO
terrorists who live and stage their destabilization attacks inside
Turkey, zipping across the border to launch their terrorists acts, then
slip back across the border to the safety of another country.
A few weeks ago the FSA terrorists slipped across the border and
attacked Tell Abiad and actually took control of the border crossing for
a time. The reportedly took down a Syrian flag that was flying over a
government building in the town and replaced it with something not
described by the Turkish paper I found the story in, but it was probably
the black flag of al Qaeda.
“Rebels were seen seizing control of the Tell Abyad border crossing, pulling down the Syrian flag and briefly allowing people to crawl under a barbed wire barrier between the countries. Bullets from the fighting reportedly caused injuries in Turkey, but a Foreign Ministry official told the Hürriyet Daily News that it was unclear if the Turkish citizens who were wounded by stray bullets were wounded deliberately or not.
Rebels hold two other crossings on the northern border with Turkey. A third border point would help strengthen their control in the north and put more pressure on the army as they battle for control of Syria’s largest city Aleppo.
Broadcaster CNNTürk’s footage showed a rebel tearing down the Syrian flag on top of what appeared to be a customs building at the Tell Abyad frontier gate. Minutes earlier, sporadic gunfire could be heard and black smoke rose from parts of the building. A crowd of about a dozen people who managed to cross from Turkey to Syria hoisted a rebel flag to replace the national flag, sparking loud cheers and applause.” Turkish Weekly
With an open crossing like this, it would not be hard to imagine that
a crew of FSA terrorist got across the border, started an attack on
some Syrian government forces, then lobbed a few mortar rounds into
Akcakale before beating a hasty retreat.
This is the exact same thing done in Gaza all the time when the IDF
or particular Israeli politicians need a pretext for some kind of action
in Gaza or a PR boost.
Conclusion
Without being able to trust the Turkish government to do a thorough
investigation into exactly what hit the ground in Akcakale, it may be
impossible to ever really know what happened on election debate night at
the border of Turkey and Syria.
The circumstantial evidence certainly points to a false flag event in
the Israeli model that we have seen several times in the past. When you
consider how close Israel and Turkey have become lately, making that
leap isn’t very hard to do.
Russia has told NATO to stay the f*ck out of Syria and not to use
this event as a pretext for some kind of invasion or bombing campaign
showing us that at least Russian leaders may understand this to be a
staged event as well.
When asked by Interfax if Moscow worried whether the tense border situation could prompt NATO to intervene to defend Turkey, its easternmost member, Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov warned against any such step.
“In our contacts with partners in NATO and in the region, we are calling on them not to seek pretexts for carrying out a military scenario or to introduce initiatives such as humanitarian corridors or buffer zones.” Chicago Tribune
