Don't deviate from the development agenda, PM Modi tells his Cabinet

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked his ministers not to deviate from the "development agenda" or get distracted by the ongoing controversy of intolerance by a section of the people.
"Yesterday PM told all of us in the Cabinet meeting that our only target and focus is development and there is no deviation. People want development and most of them don't buy the views or preaching of a certain intellectuals who speak in studios," Union urban development minister M Venkaiah Naidu said while addressing the 40th foundation of Delhi Urban Art Commission (DUAC) on Friday.

Lashing out at the "intellectuals" protesting against "intolerance" in the country, Naidu also said that they want PM to speak on every issue only to get "international" attention. The minister said such section of people get satisfaction by defaming the country.
