No suprises here.

Here is an interesting article by a Pakistani defense analyst, with the rather quaint South Asian Press vernacular.

Its weakness is that it does not look at the problem from both sides, but is very staunch in defending the Pakistani security institutions, the Armed Forces and the ISI. Fair enough, when your nation is under the very real threat of destabilization, followed by invasion then obviously you close ranks around the only credible institutions in Pakistan which can guarantee Pakistan's stability, defense and sovereignty.

The Americans have been the villains in all this for the better part of 40 years at least, against Pakistan's interest, and one may add the UK, the nation that created Pakistan. BUT, at what point do you stop blaming Pakistan's national problems on the Gora from the other side of the world, and take responsibility for the failure of the elite in Pakistan, and your own government? Isn't the fundamental problem of Pakistan, governance or lack of it, with or without the help of the USA?

Once Pakistanis learn to really face up to the problem of their own leaders, and deal with the poor level of governance then Pakistan will begin to deal with the fundamental problems of being failed state number 9, at the bottom out of 200 sovereign nations......the problems of Pakistan are much deeper, and when predatory powers such as the USA/UK come along they exploit the weaknesses of such failed states for their Jewish global masters agenda's.

The article didn't ask but I want to ask:

Why did Pakistan through American and British urging arm and train Islamic fundamentalists from Afghanistan in the 1970's, as part of 'Operation Cyclone' and 'Operation Greenbelt'?

Why did Pakistan arm and favor the most extreme Mujaheddin from Afghanistan (Gulbuddin Hekmatyar) and later when the Mujaheddin couldn't consolidate for Pakistan, the Taliban ? (even more extreme than Hekmatyar).

Why were 12,000 highly politicized Muslims from other countries openly invited to Pakistan to train and fight along side with the Mujaheddin? What benefits were there of this policy to Pakistan directly....Arab governments would have bankrolled the Afghan resistance dollar for dollar regardless of whether Arabs were involved or not? Was this another case of the ISI following gora orders, or a true case of an honest mistake on the part of General Hamid Gul.........because it sounded good at the time? If ones objective after the Soviets depart is for Pakistan to have a greater influence in Afghanistan, what role would foreign fundamentalists play in this strategy? Couldn't it be more plausibly argued that one would probably have less control over foreigners and their actions than over the Afghans?

Does Mr. Asif Raja think the Taliban or the likes of Hekmatyar are perfectly 'normal' people who should be charged with, and supported to run a NEIGHBORING country? Wouldn't there be a blow back? Besides the ISI you have some of your people who are involved fighting shoulder to shoulder with the Taliban and Mujaheddin, and isn't it inconceivable that these very same people could come into Pakistan and urge a similar government for Pakistan?

Why did the Pakistani security forces help the USA create the al-Qaeda myth? Al-Qaeda is a front for the justification of covert terrorist ops by Western and Israeli intelligence, so what interest does this serve for Pakistan to support such a policy?

Al-Qaeda is also the justification for invading Muslim countries directly and indirectly through GWOT: Afghanistan 2001, Iraq 2003 and Somalia 2006, and which now direct threats against Pakistan.............and a couple of other Muslim countries there after.........SO why is Pakistan so keen to help Jewish controlled USA studiously maintain this myth and justify attacks against so many Muslim countries? It is one thing for France by way of a random example, to say that al-Qaeda is a problem..............but France was not involved in the critical stage of creating the al-Qaeda myth, and therefore can plead ignorance in the future when it is plainly proved that al-Qaeda is a myth. But the USA, Britain, Israel and especially Pakistan have been very active in creating the al-Qaeda myth, and I understand why Israel, The USA and Britain might want to maintain this myth.......Eretz Israel/empire/colonization/resource wars for their percieved interest........BUT why is Pakistan involved top down? When the myth threatens Pakistan's very existence, " We (USA, Britain, Israel) need to go into Pakistan to deal with al-Qaeda linked insurgents, and secure the nukes so that they do not fall into the wrong hands"

If al-Qaeda is a fake front of Western and Israeli intelligence, and the Pakistani security know it, why were Pakistani citizens handed over to them to be humiliated, tortured, raped and murdered into 2008?

If Pakistan is fighting American backed and armed terrorists in FATA, and the NWFP, why not call them by their real identity, rather than say the Pakistan army is playing its part in the war on terror GWOT, or that merely terrorists have been killed? Why not call it like it is? "Good evening this is the 9 o'clock news brought to you by PTV. Our main news is that our brave security forces have killed ???!!!!! number of American backed terrorists in FATA today..........these were believed to have been recruited ???!!!! camp by the Americans in the Kunar province and armed there.............The army intercepted the American backed terrorists as they were............". If the government simply says it is fighting an anti terror campaign it does not give context to the overall argument...........it confuses the public, who need to back the armed forces fully at this critical juncture.

If Pakistan solely has initiated five wars and near wars against India (1948, 1965, 1971, 1990, 1999), and covert ops against Indian Kashmir, how much restraint should the Indians exercise against Pakistan, and pretend these things never happened....and just pray 'Hari Ohm Shanti'? 'Hari Ohm Shanti'?

On what basis do the Pakistani elite think the USA run by Jews was ever an indispensable ally? Is most of Pakistan's military systems American still? Did China need American security agreements and bases in their country, and money to be a great nation now?

If you elect a well known gangster who served eight years in Prison to the highest office in the land, do you expect friends and foe to take your country seriously?

Of course hindsight would be a wonderful thing, but really repeating the same mistakes over the better part of 60 years without a learning curve is the reflection of gross stupidity. It is Ullu Bacha behavior...............and in the case of Zardari that's even a fact..............the right man for the right job.

USA Has Bared Its Teeth

By Asif Haroon Raja

20
1/9 i/08 "ICH" -- The US and its allies succeeded in toppling Taliban regime in November 2001 and replacing it with a puppet regime, but the Taliban were neither militarily defeated nor eliminated from the system.

(I don't know, in my opinion the Americans did a pretty good job of defeating the Taliban....it was 40,000 strong controlling 90% of Afghanistan by 2001, and now about 8,000 strong only having nominal tenuous control of some parts of Afghanistan which are remote. AND a good deal of them have been turned/retrained into fighting Pakistan AND the Pak military have pledged to fight them from Pakistan........from the Jewish perspective of getting at the Pak nuke bomb it looks good. In addition the Jews are making a huge profit from the booming narcotics trade from Afghanistan...........what could be better for them?)

But for effective encirclement of Afghanistan from all directions and massive air support provided by USA, the Northern Alliance could not have made any progress. Once the Taliban realised that they were no more in a position to offer resistance particularly after Pakistan ditched them, they considered it prudent to carry out a tactical withdrawal from Kabul and most took shelter in Pashtun dominated southern and eastern Afghanistan.

( Tactical retreat is when you reposition the vast majority of your fighting machine into a better situation more or less intact, that is not the case with the Taliban; they were routed/defeated......40,000 2001, and now after 7 years 8,000........obviously the writer of this article Mr. Raja is a fan of the Taliban.....and wants to present to us the idea that the Taliban know what they are doing, and have a game plan for retaking Afghanistan....I beg to differ for a couple of reasons:

1) The Taliban were created by the Americans as an excuse to invade Afghanistan in the future, via the ISI assistance. So the Taliban is not a noble nationalist cause fighting for Afghanistan's independence, but a tool of USA geo-strategy, and an excuse to prod and blame Pakistan.....AND enter Pakistan under the guise of fighting their created Taliban.

2) The Afghan Taliban as of now is 8,000 without ANY air cover, poorly armed, trained, led, infiltrated, poor tactics, poor logistics, fighting against 300,000 coalition and Afghan government security forces and militia....the odds are too great. The Western media propaganda that Afghanistan is about to fall to the Taliban is just that propaganda bullshit....to justify action and pressure against Pakistan. "Taliban attacks in Afghanistan is increasing!" "The situation is very serious in Afghanistan for America"------Bullshit propaganda to encourage the build up of foreign forces in the country from 8,500 in 2001 to the present 70,000---80,000, AND justify the attacks inside Pakistan by them with the goal of securing the Pakistani nukes for Israel, BEFORE an attack against Iran takes place.

3) India, Iran and Russia WILL NOT EVER ALLOW THE RESURGENCE OF THE TALIBAN in Afghanistan, should the Afghan Taliban somehow miraculously defeat the present forces against them in Afghanistan.

4) If there is a Taliban ascendancy/control in Afghanistan that is a security threat for Pakistan long term because it will encourage like minded fundamentalists in Pakistan to emulate a Taliban government in Afghanistan to take over Pakistan. As it is now happening in FATA, and other parts of the NWFP, with American backing.

5) Fake American backed organizations like the Taliban are irrelevant to the REAL needs of the Afghan people....you do not destroy a whole country, enslave the women and drag the nation back a thousand years even further then where it was already in the Middle ages, in order to save the great nation of Aryana. Pakistan should cease being the prostitute of such failed Jewish policies.

Some trickled into FATA and Baluchistan where they had their kith and kin and some moved into Iran. They remained inactive till 2002 but utilised this time to regroup and refit themselves to be able to strike back at the invading forces that had devastated their country. Bush and his teams of neo-cons felt complacent that the Taliban and Al-Qaeda had been taken care of and only the remnants had to be flushed out. It was this smugness which impelled them to invade and occupy Iraq in March 2003.

In the meanwhile, the vices that had been eliminated by the Taliban during their short rule reappeared in a big way.

(If getting rid of vices means living in a primitive 'cave society' with stone age rules then one can credibly argue that such governments have not a single good characteristic.......nothing they do is good)

Besides lack of justice, war lordism, corruption, poppy growing, drug business and nepotism reigned supreme.

(It is easier for external foreign elements to control corrupt nations by using local criminals as their local tools; they need like minded people in power, and so that is why Zardari was bought into power; someone with whom they can relate to Karzai=Zardari, no difference, Karzai's brother is the biggest narcotics king in Afghanistan and Zardari is the biggest..........open knowledge)

The Taliban and their supporters were either brutally killed or put in Bagram jail and subjected to horrendous torture. The Pashtuns being in great majority were persecuted and power got concentrated in the hands of non-Pashtun Northern Alliance elements and war lords. The occupation forces inflicted heavy collateral damage on civilians whenever they confronted the militants. These developments disillusioned the Afghans and sympathy wave among the Pashtuns living both sides of the border started to shift towards the Taliban. Induction of NATO forces in 2003 together with deteriorating law and order situation provided the spark to ignite insurgency.

(The Taliban were the tool, with the help of Pakistan to allow the Americans into Afghanistan...same with al-Qaeda. The Americans aren't interested in maintaining a civilized governance in Afghanistan........they want their narcotics profit running through Pakistan, and the same through Iran.....and that's it, fuck the Afghans. They have their paid agents in the Pak security structure)

When Gen Musharraf submitted to US pressure after 9/11 and ditched the Taliban in Afghanistan, he provided air bases as well as logistics support and shared intelligence with CIA. He allowed CIA and FBI to recruit agents in FATA and other places and to establish their outposts.

( A very dangerous development for Pakistan..........but you have always had these chamar chamcha's in the Pakistani elite)

The focus of ISI and other agencies was shifted towards hunting and nabbing so-called terrorists all over the country, in monitoring dissident elements within the army and in political wheeling and dealings. The CIA acquired all the links ISI and MI had both sides of the Pak-Afghan border and gradually took most agents on ISI payroll within its fold.

(The ISI created by the British in 1948 has always worked very closely with the Americans often to the detriment of Pakistan, what happened in 2001 was not a new improved relationship, but a slight upgrade and formalization of an existing one.)

By virtue of having better technology and means the CIA was able to take over intelligence acquisition and dissemination system. As a consequence the troops operating in FATA became entirely dependent upon CIA inputs. Taking advantage of complete liberty of action, CIA succeeded in buying the loyalties of many tribal chiefs and notables in FATA by doling out dollars in sacks since it knew that the Pashtun could not be crushed by force but could be purchased. Those not falling in line were got killed.

(These things don't happen unless the top brass in Pakistan approve. A couple of foreign intelligence agencies don't just drop into your country and run the show unless the top brass approve it...samje? The question then is did the top brass see the present scenario unfolding as a result of giving cart blanche to such foreign entities into very sensitive areas of Pakistan, or was it a case of never saw it coming yet again..............i.e fighting India in 1965 with 1 weeks worth of spares and other such bright foresight and planning)

In FATA, Nek Muhammad was first cultivated and provided logistic support. When he entered into a peace deal with Pak Army in July 2005, he was killed using precision guided missile. Abdullah Masood, an Afghan war veteran who had also fought the Northern Alliance in October-November 2001 was captured and brainwashed during his two years internment in Guantanamo Bay. He was released after agreeing to work on terms dictated by CIA and he soon was able to takeover the leadership role. His death at Zhob at the hands of Pak security forces was a loss for CIA.

(As I understand it many Mujaheddin/Taliban have been turned to fight for the Americans......you have only mentioned a few)

Baitulah Masood and Fazlullah had not taken part in Afghan jihad and do not qualify to head Taliban; yet 30 year old Baitullah has managed to create Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Fazlullah calls the shots in Swat. Mulla Omar had never shown interest in establishing any links with Pakistani Taliban and had warned Nek Muhammad not to operate under the brand name of Taliban. It is being questioned as to how come Baitullah, Fazlullah and their spokesmen desperately wanted by Pakistan security forces have escaped the hawk eye of USA, particularly after they have been seen giving detailed interviews to media and using their cell phones? ISI had once given six figure coordinates of Baitullah and yet no Hellfire missile was fired on his hideout by CIA. The TTP that has spread its influence in all the seven agencies of tribal belt and in neighbouring settled districts of NWFP has succeeded in making inroads into Punjab, particularly southern Punjab. Large number has got recruited from Chiniot, Bahawalpur, Dera Nawab, Bahawalnagar, Faisalabad, Sialkot and other places. Though they do not speak a word of Pashto, but are fighting side by side with Pathan Taliban.

( That is the natural development of the policies of the Pakistani government in the 1980's and 1990's......this is not new. The thing that has to be done for Pakistan's survival is to draw a clear line between what Pakistan truly stands for....a modern moderate Muslim nation as envisaged by Jinnah, or a perpetually failed state, where misguided elements, misinformed by their government and security people FAIL TO IDENTIFY THE TALIBAN AS THE REAL ENEMY OF PAKISTAN CREATED BY AMERICA........The Pakistan leadership and security people must clarify the issue......confusion is dangerous for Pakistan)

After Shakai peace deal with the militants in South Waziristan in July 2005, Pakistan was subjected to a calculated slander campaign. Having fixed more than one lac troops into the furnace of FATA it was scoffed at for not doing enough to control militancy in FATA. Pakistan was also accused of nuclear proliferation and IAEA kept up the pressure to hand over AQ Khan for interrogation. Musharraf accepted the charge and forced AQ Khan to make a confession to defuse the heat. The religious extremist threat was blown out of all proportions and it was repeatedly stated that Pakistan’s nuclear assets had become unsafe. Musharraf accepted this charge as well and promised to fight extremism and terrorism with full force.

(Yes thats the problem.......the top brass of Musharaf signed secret deals with the Americans, too ashamed to reveal it to the Pakistani people, and then continued to support the fake war on terror. The Pakistan government supported an American lie, and now this is the result............the lie gets repeated numerous times until the lie turns into a truth for the Americans and their Jewish masters........of course the nukes are safe..........of course the vast majority of Pakistanis don't like Islamic fundamentalists............of course it is the Americas who are training and backing the terrorists from Afghanistan.)

After declaring Pakistan as the most dangerous country, FATA was declared as the most dangerous place on earth. Pakistan was blamed for growing turbulence in Afghanistan since in view of US military leaders and Karzai; Pak army was not doing enough to control militancy. The phenomenon of missile attacks by drones commenced in January 2006 when a suspected target in Damadola was attacked killing scores of innocent civilians. Another deadly missile attack was launched on a Madrassa in Bajaur in October that year killing 80 students. Ever since, this phenomenon continues unabated.

(This will ONLY escalate as the main objective are those Pakistan nuke bombs)

Once the ISI got freed from wild goose chase of so-called terrorists and came under pressure on account of missing persons, it started to concentrate on its primary task in the troubled spots. To its horror it found far too many militant groups and criminal gangs operating under the guise of religious militants and cultivated by foreign agencies.

(You mean to say the ISI never supported militants and criminal gangs in their entire history?)

They were the ones involved in carrying out gruesome beheadings of security personnel and torching girls’ schools to defame the real Taliban who had a peaceful agenda. Besides CIA, RAW and RAM, even Iran and Uzbekistan had developed its tentacles in Baluchistan, Swat and Kurram Agency. Most of the pro-Pakistan groups had been purchased or neutralized and those not coming to terms were eliminated by groups sponsored by CIA. Things had gone topsy-turvy and ISI found itself at a loss how to differentiate between friend and foe.

(When you spend 30 years funding extreme Islamic fundamentalists for your foreign gora masters geo-strategy, and the thing turns around and harms you, then yes it can be a little bit confusing for a complete amoral idiot)

It is when the ISI began to recover the lost ground and renewed its old contacts in FATA and started to expose and block clandestine activities of CIA, RAW and RAM that all hell broke lose on ISI. Instead of feeling ashamed of what they were doing, USA had the cheeks to start making hue and cry that ISI was linked with the Taliban and that it must be emasculated. The three colluding partners lost their cool when the Indian Embassy in Kabul was subjected to a suicide attack on 7 July 2008. The trio fumed with anger and blamed ISI without even carrying out preliminary investigations. It was alleged that the perpetrator of suicide attack belonged to Gujranwala. Adm. Mike Mullen and Deputy Director CIA Stephen Kappes came huffing and puffing to Islamabad on 12 July and expressed their concern in strong words. Both Gen Tariq and Gen Kayani were told to bring the ISI to heel and to control militancy on their side of the border. The details of suicide bomber provided by the visitors proved false. It transpired later on that it was a bomb planted in a parked jeep which was detonated with the help of a remote control and was master minded by Mossad.

In the meanwhile Bush gave a green signal to Pentagon to extend the sphere of operations in Afghanistan into neighbouring FATA in July. He said that besides Iraq and Afghanistan, Pakistan is the third battleground. The military was told to hit targets whenever any actionable intelligence was available without notifying Pakistan. US troops started to man mobile posts all along Pak-Afghan border with Paktika as their main forward base camp. These hostile steps were taken in spite of the fact that the new government under Zardari had abandoned its policy of dialogue and resumed the policy of force against the militants. After a month long Frontier Corps led operation in Khyber Agency, the army was employed in Hangu to control the unrest. In continuation of offensive policy, the army launched powerful operations in Swat in July and in Bajaur on 6 August backed by jetfighters, gunship helicopters, tanks and artillery guns and started to make rapid progress against the well entrenched militants. Operations in these two restive areas are still going in with full steam and several hundred militants have been killed. Instead of getting pleased, the Americans got disturbed since they never intended to control militancy but to spread the flames of militancy into cities and create anarchic conditions.

(There you have their real motive)

The month of September saw intensification of missile attacks and each attack resulted in loss of innocent lives. To create fear and panic among the peaceful residents of Waziristan and also to target pro-government elements, missile attacks were intensified and each attack killed innocent men, women and children. The idea was to antagonise pro-government Waziris and also to force them to migrate as had happened in case of Bajaur. To further up the ante, Pakistan was declared as a battleground and a first ever ground attack was carried out by US troops on the night of 3 September at Angoor Adda killing 15 men women and children. A deadly missile attack was conducted on pro-Pakistan Jalaluddin Haqqani house in North Waziristan on 8 September killing 25 inmates mostly women and children. He was blamed for carrying out attack on Indian Embassy. The intruding drone was forced to beat a hasty retreat on 12 September when own jets got airborne and started to track it. A ground attack on 15th was also thwarted by the troops and locals. So far 62 border violations have been carried out by US-ISAF forces including 36 after the takeover by PPP government in March 2008. So far 30 missile attacks have been made killing innocent people. In none of the attack any Al-Qaada operative or militant Taliban was killed.

The nexus in Kabul is working upon a scripted plan to make FATA lawless and beyond the control of security forces, push militancy into settled areas and then into major cities and thus create a civil warlike situation to prove their contention that Pakistan was the most dangerous country in the world and that the extremists were on the verge of taking over power and nuclear weapons. After inflaming South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Mohmand Agency, Khyber Agency, Darra Adam Khel, Kurram Agency, Hangu and Swat, Bajaur Agency was built into a stronghold of militants where huge cache of arms and ammunition was dumped. By virtue of being located at the crossroad of the tribal belt and also linked with Dir, Swat and Afghanistan, it was to act as bulwark and a launching pad to provide reinforcement to other areas.

(And so Pakistan has to follow multi-tracked policies of pouring more troops into FATA; spending money on securing the border areas......fences and walls....the Iranians are doing it in rugged Baluchistan and so can Pakistan.........greater coordination work with friendly local tribal leaders.......investment in the areas with greater social welfare and public works.....education and propaganda of the locals of where the problem lies......and who is the real enemy......what must be avoided is the clumsy operations that were common in East Pakistan, where innocent civilians were killed, and poorly trained local militias were armed(Razakar and al-Badr) who carried out indiscriminate killings against their 'personal foes' rather than behaving in a professional manner.

The operations in FATA and other parts of the frontier against the foreign backed terrorists must be carried with the utmost professionalism by largely Pashtun units, commanded by Pahstun commanders, AND it must not be a seen as a Punjabi operation, and poorly trained armed, paid paramilitary units should not be used, but only regular Jawans who only act on real verifiable intelligence and not just maybe's (I guess that is why the foreigners wanted to 'train' the Frontier Corps)........after all a foreign backed terrorist can be killed and they will immediately be replaced, however the golden rule is to WIN the local people over with good governance, and professional anti-insurgency ops by well trained regular Jawans from the army)

10,000 Indian troops are stationed in Afghanistan under the garb of supervising construction of road Jalalabad-Port Chahbahar project that has now been completed. Whereas India has officially declared 14 Indian consulates in Afghanistan, on ground they have 107 in which 20 intelligence units are burning their midnight oil to destabilise Pakistan. Many mercantile shops run by Indians have an intelligence office in the rear. In Wakhan, a religious Madrassa run by Indian Muslim clerics is functioning since 2002 under the patronage of RAW and Mossad. Very young boys, mostly orphans, destitute or homeless are recruited. Recruits are mostly Afghans, Uzbeks, Tajiks and Caucasians. The latter being fair skinned and resembling Europeans are trained to hit targets in Europe or in USA to once again create a 9/11 like situation.

(Indians on the whole are not aggressive but passive, it reflects their religion/ true mentality and this in turn reflects their foreign policy, and their reactions to Pakistani encroachments into Indian territory, time immemorial. However times have changed, the Indian economy is now the Third Largest in the world measured by PPP $4.5 Trillion, and India shall we say is flexing its muscle as a psychological response to this change of circumstance and new found success.

What must be said however in relation to India's relation with Pakistan is that countries like Israel, and the growing relations between India and the USA play a greater part in changing India's perception of itself viz Pakistan in particular and the wider world. Israel since the early 1980's has been working on India to adopt a more aggressive stance, and the result has been the fruition of Indian activity in Afghanistan under RAW, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh. We should note the influence of foreign elements who have influenced the Indians in this direction since the eighties.....or to put it another way India is traditionally a non-aggressive power that has lived in peace with its neighbors for 5,000 years......consider the fact that before the Mossad inspired RAW adventure that culminated in the assassination of Rajiv Gandhi, India had militarily NEVER in its 5,000 year history intervened in that country.................So my point is Mr. Raja sahib lets put some background into explaining Indian/RAW ops in Afghanistan. Having said all this India still is a minor player in Afghanistan, and the Americans with urging by Israel is the main destabilization threat from Afghanistan against Pakistan.................as in 95%, and then you have to think about the British quietly sitting in Kandahar with 8,000 troops training former Taliban fighters.

Finally the Americans along this line have ego massaged the Indians and promised them that America will turn India into a 'great power'; the stupidity and niavity of Indians in sections of the security establishment if they really believe that the USA, a Western Jewish run power is going to en power a nation of brown people into becoming a super power on a par with the USA.

One would like to make the obvious point that China is becoming the next superpower all by herself, and has no security agreements with the Americans............China as of 2008 is the largest industrial power and the second largest economy on earth measured by PPP $11 Trillion, and will be the largest economy within a matter of a few years, as the American economy faces more and more difficulties.............Goldman Sacks predicts by 2025, readjusted from 2040, but I am saying with one or two years.

All this done by the Chinese themselves, through good governance, and administration, low defense expenditure, investment in infrastructure, sound financial policies......AND they don't have any security agreements with the USA, or military bases.....IT his highly stupid and incompetent for Indians to think that America will turn them into a great power...you do it yourself, if that is your goal; Ashok and Akbar did not ask other nations to help them become great powers.....

So whats up? What are the Americans up to? The various security agreements between India and Israel in the 1990's and more recently with the Americans and the false flag ops inside India by these same foreigners only point to one policy..........to recruit India eventually to attack Pakistan simultaneously.

Is this good for India, to see the demise of the 'old foe'?

No, because Pakistan was never a true enemy of India but an artificial state created by the British to clip India's wing. In this true scenario then Pakistan is not the true enemy of India, and its real aspirations as a great nation, but merely a hapless pitiful pawn used by the likes of the USA, and UK; failed state number 9; destabilized....problem filled.........a nation filled with Indic and Iranian people that is India's neighbor.

If these predatory actors attack Pakistan and attempt to occupy the country, and follow the Iraqi model of Balkanisation...will this be good for India? NO........Because:

1. No guarantee that they will stop and limit themselves to Pakistan only. We are after all seeing a colonial type war.

2. 10-20 million Pakistani refugees on Indian soil will not be pretty site.

3. There are very few idiots with the exception of elements of RAW, and ISI who help foreigners set there own houses on fire for foreign agendas....when you set your own house on fire the fire can quickly spread, and Indian involvement in Sri Lanka is a classic example of this or ISI involvement in Afghanistan.

So I suppose this is the choice India has to make. Whether to be a bit player in essentially a geo-strategy of Israel evolving from the eighties, with the help of America more recently from 2005, security agreements, joint ventures........blah blah blah, or have the faith in courage and wisdom in pursuing policies which are in the best interests of India and India alone. In doing so India will have to display greater patience with failed state Pakistan number 9, continue driving through policies which integrate Pakistan into a South Asian security, economic and political block at a faster rate than now. Whilst Indian administrations do make policy decision mistakes, there is a never the less a certain degree of reflection and a learning curve from the Indian side on key decisions.....if that doesn't sound too patronizing.........once a mistake is clearly identified certain adjustments in policy do take in India.....maybe it has to do with the fact that it is a long time democracy. With the Pakistanis that sadly never seems to be the case.)

Reportedly, 10,000 ideologically motivated terrorist and suicide bombers have been trained. Besides receiving military training, they have also been made to learn Pashto and customs of Pathans. They are regularly infiltrated into troubled spots of Pakistan. Posing as volunteers they join the rank and file of militants to fight the army. They are the ones who are destroying schools, CD shops, bridges and other installations and carrying out brutal beheading of captured personnel. The idea is to create chaos and confusion and also to defame the real Taliban that have not come under their influence. They are also responsible for creating cleavages within the people of FATA and in disrupting peace deals. In Kurram Agency, Afghan officers and soldiers are actively involved in the sectarian conflict by way of providing arms and ammunition to Shias belonging to Tori tribe and physically participating in duels with Sunnis. In Swat, Fazlullah led militants are supplied with war munitions as well as fighters.

Likewise, dissident tribal chiefs in Baluchistan including late Akbar Bugti were also taken on board. The CIA helped in reincarnating BLA and providing all sorts of war munitions to Baloch militants belonging to Bugti, Marri and Mengal tribes and establishing over 60 Farari camps in Baluchistan. Shamsi airbase that was handed over to USA in October 2001, houses Blackhawk helicopters primarily engaged in monitoring the entire length of Iranian border. CIA has cultivated Sunni Iranian Baloch Jandullah group (not the one that had operated against 5 Corps commander). It is anti- Iranian regime and was utilised by CIA to carryout acts of sabotage in Iran through Zahidan. Iran has now constructed a stone wall all along its border to prevent cross border terrorism from Baluchistan. It has clouded Pak-Iran relations since the latter feels that such activities could not have been undertaken without the blessing of Pak government.

It is now clear that our so-called friends have been playing a double game. Now that USA has bared its teeth and let its intentions known, to pretend that it would stop short of achieving its objectives will be like living in fools’ paradise. It is simply degrading to unashamedly say that we cannot fight the Americans. It is also preposterous to assume that Pakistan may not survive without American support. Pro-American elements within Pakistan on US payroll have been parroting this theme since creation of Pakistan to safeguard their vested interests. North Korea, Cuba, Venezuela, Bolivia, Iran, Somalia are living examples who have survived despite adopting hostile posture against USA. It is high time that we gird up our loins and put our act together to face up to the challenge boldly.

The army under Gen Kayani has expressed its resolve to confront the threat and safeguard country’s sovereignty irrespective of the consequences. It is now up to our week-kneed rulers oblivious of the ominous threat and still busy in power game as to how they stand up to the test. It will be naive to expect that the threat will be warded off with diplomacy alone. We must make USA realise that it will become exceedingly difficult for US led allied troops to operate in Afghanistan if Pakistan opts out of fighting US war of terror and refuses to provide transit facility to carry oil and food supplies to its troops in Afghanistan. The magnitude of dependence can be gauged from the fact each day over 400 containers ply from Karachi and Quetta to Afghanistan transporting food, munitions and 300 million gallons of fuel for US-Nato troops in Afghanistan. We may also consider bridling CIA’s unchecked activities and closing down four bases in control of USA.
