Rebels Admit Responsibility for Chemical Weapons Attack

Militants tell AP reporter they mishandled Saudi-supplied chemical weapons, causing accident
.
Paul Joseph Watson at Infowars.com
.
Syrian rebels in the Damascus suburb of Ghouta have admitted to Associated Press journalist Dale Gavlak that they were responsible for last week’s chemical weapons incident which western powers have blamed on Bashar Al-Assad’s forces, revealing that the casualties were the result of an accident caused by rebels mishandling chemical weapons provided to them by Saudi Arabia.

Image: YouTube
.
“From numerous interviews with doctors, Ghouta residents, rebel fighters and their families….many believe that certain rebels received chemical weapons via the Saudi intelligence chief, Prince Bandar bin Sultan, and were responsible for carrying out the (deadly) gas attack,” writes Gavlak.
.
Rebels told Gavlak that they were not properly trained on how to handle the chemical weapons or even told what they were. It appears as though the weapons were initially supposed to be given to the Al-Qaeda offshoot Jabhat al-Nusra.
.
“We were very curious about these arms. And unfortunately, some of the fighters handled the weapons improperly and set off the explosions,” one militant named ‘J’ told Gavlak.
.
His claims are echoed by another female fighter named ‘K’, who told Gavlak, “They didn’t tell us what these arms were or how to use them. We didn’t know they were chemical weapons. We never imagined they were chemical weapons.”
.
Abu Abdel-Moneim, the father of an opposition rebel, also told Gavlak, “My son came to me two weeks ago asking what I thought the weapons were that he had been asked to carry,” describing them as having a “tube-like structure” while others were like a “huge gas bottle.” The father names the Saudi militant who provided the weapons as Abu Ayesha.
.
According to Abdel-Moneim, the weapons exploded inside a tunnel, killing 12 rebels.
“More than a dozen rebels interviewed reported that their salaries came from the Saudi government,” writes Gavlak.
.
If accurate, this story could completely derail the United States’ rush to attack Syria which has been founded on the “undeniable” justification that Assad was behind the chemical weapons attack. Dale Gavlak’s credibility is very impressive. He has been a Middle East correspondent for the Associated Press for two decades and has also worked for National Public Radio (NPR).
.
The website on which the story originally appeared - Mint Press (which is currently down as a result of huge traffic it is attracting to the article) is a legitimate media organization based in Minnesota. The Minnesota Post did a profile on them last year.
.
Saudi Arabia’s alleged role in providing rebels, whom they have vehemently backed at every turn, with chemical weapons, is no surprise given the revelations earlier this week that the Saudis threatened Russia with terror attacks at next year’s Winter Olympics in Sochi unless they abandoned support for the Syrian President.
.
“I can give you a guarantee to protect the Winter Olympics next year. The Chechen groups that threaten the security of the games are controlled by us,” Prince Bandar allegedly told Vladimir Putin, the Telegraph reports.
.
The Obama administration is set to present its intelligence findings today in an effort prove that Assad’s forces were behind last week’s attack, despite American officials admitting to the New York Times that there is no “smoking gun” that directly links President Assad to the attack.
US intelligence officials also told the Associated Press that the intelligence proving Assad’s culpability is “no slam dunk.”
.
As we reported earlier this week, intercepted intelligence revealed that the Syrian Defense Ministry was making “panicked” phone calls to Syria’s chemical weapons department demanding answers in the hours after the attack, suggesting that it was not ordered by Assad’s forces.

Parliament Revolts, Brits to Stay Out of Syria

by Jason Ditz, at antiwar.com
Britain is officially out of the planned US attacks on Syria today, after a parliamentary vote saw broad rejection of the Cameron government’s call to ignore their lack of evidence and approve the conflict.
.
The vote was close, but the admission that the British government doesn’t have anything resembling a “smoking gun” of evidence to back their allegations seemed to be a bigger problem for parliamentarians than it was for the prime minister.
.
Defense Secretary Philip Hammond confirmed that after the vote, the British government will not take part in the initial American attacks on Syria, but officials raised the prospect of holding another vote, potentially next week, if they come up with any actual, real evidence.
.
US officials expressed “disappointment” that Britain won’t be joining the attack, but said it won’t stop their own plans to strike Syria in the coming days. The Obama Administration has rejected seeking Congressional approval, likely fearing that the US Congress would similarly reject the hasty calls to attack.
.
French officials are also suggesting that they “need proof” now in a way that they didn’t a few days ago, and this may mean the Obama Administration, once bragging about this being an “international action,” will end up attacking without any partners.

Obummer Humanitarian Love Bombs

Syrians Scramble to Hide From Obama’s Humanitarian Love Bombs

“Every neighborhood has some government target. Where do we hide?”
 .
Paul Joseph Watson at Infowars.com

 .
Despite the US and Britain justifying an imminent attack on Syria in the name of “protecting civilians,” Syrians themselves are scrambling to hide from Obama’s humanitarian love bombs, with one Damascus resident telling Reuters, “We live in the capital. Every turn, every street, every neighborhood has some government target. Where do we hide?”
Image: Wikimedia Commons
Although a torrent of criticism has forced both Washington and London to move towards some kind of symbolic gesture involving the United Nations, a senior US official told NBC News today “we’re past the point of return” and that US air strikes against Syrian targets would inevitably occur “within days.”
.
That leaves thousands of Syrians living in major cities already ravaged by nearly two years of civil war and western-backed Al-Qaeda terrorist attacks looking up to the skies in anticipation of a fresh delivery of cruise missiles – all in the name of “protecting civilians” of course.
.
As Reuters reports, “dozens of military sites are mixed in among the civilian population,” meaning that western attacks will almost inevitably mean more loss of life, not to mention the wider threat of a new war in the Middle East.
.
Syrians have now begun hoarding supplies, including water, batteries, and food, with “the fear in people’s eyes” all too visible, while banks have been inundated with customers attempting to withdraw all their money.
.
People are fleeing in an effort to rent houses away from military sites, but many cannot afford skyrocketing prices in safer areas.
.
“What about my friend?” asked a woman whose family was lucky enough to be lent a house in a safe area. “Her whole family lives in this neighborhood. There is no place for them to go.”
.
With Syria about to become the 7th country to be on the receiving end of the Peace Prize winner’s humanitarian lovefest, let us not forget the fantastic success that this policy of taking a complex political problem and bombing it had in Libya.
.
Just as it did in Libya, the US is about to become “Al-Qaeda’s air force,” paving the way for extremist jihadists to seize power and turn Syria into their personal thug-rule thiefdom.
.
Two years after Obama’s love bombs rained down in Tripoli,
 .
 .
has seen its economy collapse,
.
is controlled by brutal tribes who imprison and torture their alleged political adversaries,
 .
and has become “the main base for Al-Qaeda in the Maghreb.”
.
Now it’s Syria’s turn to experience what happens to countries who dare assert their sovereignty by attempting to fight back against an invasion of NATO and Gulf state-supplied terrorists.
.
Those Syrians who do manage to hide from Obama and Cameron’s humanitarian love bombs may escape death but the future of their country (under 'al-CIA-duh") might not be much worth living for.

UK statesmen making a moral and patriotic stand.

.
.
.
. DAVID Cameron is believed to be of Russian Jewish descent whose forefathers migrated to the UK in the 19th century. But the Jewish tribal pull is very strong. Note the hook nose, eyes close together, and the OVER obsessive career in money, in the The City, before Rothschild anointed puppet power beckoned, and war, and a police state.

Hummmm...... a Jewish empire in the middle East.....interesting idea as long as they keep out of the Aryan belt. Many nations have tried at empire.....some successfully and some unsuccessfully.

I have absolutely NO PROBLEMS the Jews having a go at empire. Emperor Netanyahu.....it sounds good.....Prince Willian, anointed as King Emmanuel the I (Gossip: Is the next heir to the throne after Charles Jewish?), visiting the Israeli Emperor. Jewish Queen Hilary Clinton visiting the emperor in 2018.....as a debt ridden vassal state of Israel.

Speaking meekly, and subserviently........in the manner of covetous fawning servants.

But how do you create an modern empire of Eretz Israel in the Middle East with such a small population....5.6 million Jews?

Most Jews, the majority do not want to live in Apartheid Israel....70%.

Of course a trick the Jew financiers could use is to encourage more Aliyah to Israel by collapsing the economies of Western countries.........such as the USA, UK, France, EU.

Just as the Soviet Jewish secret inner government did with the Soviet Union......which brought about 1.5 millions Jews from the former Soviet Union into Israel.

Yes such a grand plan will bring in 4-5 million Jews from the USA, UK, and France......at least. Then you get rid of the 4 million Palestinians in the Gaza, West Bank and in Israel......no more elaborate games of creating Hamas to divide and conquer the Palestinians.

But human nature such as it is.....will discourage Jews coming to Israel if 50,000 missiles from Hezbollah, Russian missiles from Syria and Shahab missiles from Iran target Israel......no matter, strategically and militarily how well the Israelis ultimately fare.

Middle class Israelis in Israel and in the Western world like peaceful intellectual middle class pursuits, dinner parties, morning coffee at the cafe, beach parties, reading books, going to the cinema. Attending opera's, attending plays..........I mention the Jewish middle class because in REALITY, that is the only class that matters in a modern post-industrial consumer state.....where quite often they form the majority.

In feudal Russia, run by the Jews, raped by the Jews, looted by Jews....the middle class is only 20% of the population, just like a banana third world republic....with a few rich Jews in and around Moscow.

ATTACK ON CAMERON'S ZIONIST CABAL by aangirfan

Fatty Cameron - worried by a gas attack.

In the UK, the Non-Zionist faction within the elite has turned against David Cameron and his evil-smelling Zionist cabal.
.
The world's biggest news site, the highly influential Daily Mail, thunders: "If our MPs STILL have any doubts, they've a moral duty to vote no."
.
However, it is likely that Cameron will go ahead with his 'illegal war for Israel'.

Theresa May
Reportedly some of Cameron's cabinet are opposing a UK attack on Syria.

Philip Hammond

Among those said to be opposing Cameron are Theresa May, the Home Secretary, and Philip Hammond, the Defence Secretary.

David Davis

The excellent David Davis is "the head of a growing Tory rebellion over Syria."

David Davis, who once stood against Cameron for the leadership of the Conservative Party, says there are 'huge risks' in bombing Syria.

He says a UK attack on Syria: "will be interpreted around the Middle East in ways we can’t predict. I’m also not at all sure that it will improve the safety of British citizens."

David Davis says he has yet to be convinced the gas attack was a "deliberate act of the Assad government".

www.dailymail.co.uk

Blunt

Crispin Blunt, a former Conservative Party minister and former soldier, says he will vote against the Syrian intervention tonight and in any potential second vote.
.
Crispin Blunt, who may represent the views of the non-Zionists in the security services, says: "I haven’t seen any evidence that suggests whether or not the regime was responsible for this and identifying who in the regime (gave the order).

"The UN weapons inspectors will establish that there was a chemical attack, they’re not going to be able to establish who carried it out."

Miliband

The opposition leader Ed Miliband has 'slammed into reverse gear': his party has changed its position after demanding any action has to meet six criteria
.
Ed Miliband, of Polish Jewish origins, is presumably being pressured by the non-Zionists in his own party.

Howarth.
.
Former defence minister Gerald Howarth warns of the risk that the UK and allies "get our hand caught in the mangle" by intervening further in Syria. "Where will this military intervention lead on?"

"Will that be the end of the story or will there be calls for further action and are we then at risk of having our hand caught in the mangle?"
Conservative MP Sir Roger Gale says he remains to be convinced that "any intervention now will be other than too little, too late and ineffective".
.
He says he is "gravely concerned" about the implications of an attack on Syria, and "any such response must be based first upon legality..."
.
Sir Roger says Iraq "has left with me deep cynicism about the veracity of 'military intelligence' that may or may not have been adjusted to suit a particular political purpose."

www.dailymail.co.uk

Conservative MP Adam Afriyie says: "The British public have absolutely no appetite for being unnecessarily dragged into yet another Middle Eastern conflict.
.
"They just don’t want us to get involved. I am with them."

Neville-Jones
.
Former security minister Baroness Neville-Jones says the Government has to be ‘cautious’ about the evidence it is considering, and publish legal advice on military intervention.

Farage.
.
Ukip leader Nigel Farage opposes the "rush for military action".
.
He says: "Sending cruise missiles into Syria as a punishment for possibly using chemical weapons – how does that make anything better?."
.

Samantha Cameron, wearing 'an MI5 T-shirt'(many International charities are run by spooks for obvious undercover reasons), asks some Syrians if they have heard of the Yinon Plan - which involves destroying Moslem countries in order to create a Greater Israel.
.
Comments from the public on MailOnline include:

Thank goodness for some sanity over this. The UK taxpayer is not the worlds policeman. We are being bulldozed and snowballed into this for Cameron's private agenda. Stay out of it. Either way the Tories aren't getting my vote again in this lifetime and anyone else I can persuade

- ron , Cumbria, 29/8/2013 02:42

I am continually stunned that we have learned nothing from Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan and all these other so called "peace keeping" wars.

- crosis , Auckland, New Zealand, 29/8/2013 02:39

Remember Iraq; didn't they have chemical weapons? Oh no that's right it was just a load of old pipes. We don't know who was responsible for this chemical attack. What's the plan Mr Cameron? Are we just going to tomahawk everyone that MIGHT be involved, with what little military forces we have left after your massive military cuts. Cameron needs a new job...maybe stacking shelves somewhere.

The King David Hotel, blown up by Jewish terrorists.

The two most bankrupt nations on the planet want to start another war . Do you smell a rat yet , or will you just let history keep repeating itself because you are not personally inconvenienced. This stuff matters folks . We can make a better world if we just think for ourselves .

- Lord Vader , The Death Star, 29/8/2013 02:23

Why support the rebels, many of which HATE the West and are killing Christians all over the muslim world. If we need to intervene then help the minority coptic christians from these sick vile people.

- Bruce Jackson , London, 29/8/2013 02:17

The American Navy sailed through Gibraltar at the beginning of the month, how did they know there was going to be a chemical attack at the end of the month, crystal ball or something. Don't think so!

- Steve-UKIP Member , Auckland_, 29/8/2013 02:04

No attack can be justified and no doubt there will be collateral damage, with the possibility of more innocent people, including children getting killed, by our missiles... No need for us to get involved at all, especially after the previous disasters in Afghanistan and Iraq .

Remember bogus U.S. excuses for Iraq war before attacking Syria: China's Xinhua

Via Reuters.

An attack on Syria would be dangerous and irresponsible, and the world should remember the Iraq war was started by U.S. allegations of weapons of mass destruction which turned out to be false, China's official state Xinhua news agency said on Tuesday.
.
The United States has served Syrian President Bashar al-Assad notice that it believes he was responsible for chemical weapons being used against civilians last week.
.
Military chiefs from the United States and its European and Middle Eastern allies have met in Jordan for what could be a council of war, should they decide to punish Assad, who has denied using chemical weapons and blamed rebels for the attacks.
.
Xinhua said that Western countries were rushing to conclusions about who may have used chemical weapons before U.N. inspectors had completed their investigation.
.
"Such rhetoric, as well as the recent flurry of consultations between Washington and its allies, indicates that they have put the arrow on the bowstring and would shoot even without a U.N. mandate," Xinhua said in an English-language commentary.
.
"That would be irresponsible and dangerous. For starters, the current scenario is reminiscent of the lead-up to the Iraq War, which the United States staged with allegations about weapons of mass destruction that later turned out to be false."
.
Xinhua commentaries do not carry the same weight as government statements, but they can be read as a reflection of official Chinese thinking.
.
China has urged all parties not to jump to conclusions about the results of the U.N. probe, and has urged calmness in dealing with the accusations.
.
"In the heat of the crisis, all parties concerned should keep their heads cool, especially those impatient to take military actions without a U.N. mandate," it said.
.
"It is imperative that the Unites States and like-minded countries refrain from hasty armed invention and let the U.N. play its due part in determining how to act accordingly."
Russia, Assad's key ally and arms supplier, says rebel forces may have been behind the attack and has urged Washington not to use military force against Assad.
.
Moscow and Beijing have both vetoed previous Western efforts to impose U.N. penalties on Assad.
.
But China has been keen to show it is not taking sides and has urged the Syrian government to talk to the opposition and take steps to meet demands for political change. It has said a transitional government should be formed.

After Iraq, the Public inquiry, movies about Blair, police investigations, torture allegations, mass rallies...and ZERO benefit to the UK economically, politically, socially, psychologically, strategically, morally....the British State is a bit more cautious this time about a Syria war, based on sexed up dossiers.

British Parliament Wants Proof, Complicating Syrian War

Hague Rejected Demands, But Govt Finally Gives In

Wars are a lot harder to get off the ground when you get into things like “proof.”
 .
That’s not how the Obama Administration rolls, but British parliament has thrown a major monkey wrench into the Cameron government’s plans to join the US in the war.
.
The lack of legal justification for the war convinced Cameron he needed parliament to rubber stamp the plan, and when they indicated they wanted real proof, it got pretty messy, with Foreign Secretary William Hague vigorously arguing against the idea, declaring that they’d already presented “the maximum amount of evidence” to parliament and had no intention of giving them anything more.
.
Parliament was insistent, however, and the Cameron government finally backed down and agreed to wait for the UN to finish its probe of what actually happened, something the US has angrily rejected.
.(Pro Forma...the Syrian government DID NOT do it)

From WIKIPEDIA:

The Iraq Inquiry, also referred to as the Chilcot Inquiry after its chairman, Sir John Chilcot,[1][2] is a British public inquiry into the nation's role in the Iraq War. The inquiry was announced on 15 June 2009 by Prime Minister Gordon Brown, with an initial announcement that proceedings would take place in private, a decision which was subsequently reversed after receiving criticism in the media and the House of Commons.[3][4][5]
The Inquiry was pursued by a committee of Privy Counsellors with broad terms of reference to consider Britain's involvement in Iraq between mid-2001 and July 2009.

It covered the run-up to the conflict, the subsequent military action and its aftermath with the purpose to establish the way decisions were made, to determine what happened and to identify lessons to ensure that in a similar situation in future, the British government is equipped to respond in the most effective manner in the best interests of the country.[6]

The open sessions of the inquiry commenced on 24 November 2009 and concluded on 2 February 2011.
In July 2012, the government vetoed the release of the documents to the Inquiry detailing minutes of Cabinet meetings in the days leading up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Concurrently, the British Foreign Office successfully appealed against a judge's ruling which had ordered disclosure of extracting a conversation between George W. Bush and Tony Blair days before the invasion. The government stated that revealing a phone call conversation between Bush and Blair before the invasion would later present a "significant danger" to British-American relations.[7] The million word report of the Inquiry is due to be released to the public by 2014.[8]

A public inquiry, chaired by the retired Lord Justice of Appeal Sir William Gage, reported on 8 September 2011 after three years of investigation.[16] The report concluded British soldiers had subjected detainees to "serious, gratuitous violence".[17] Army training manuals failed to explain that the five interrogation techniques used had been banned by the British since 1972, and were also illegal under the Geneva Convention.

OOPS! NO GAS ATTACK BY ASSAD by aangirfan

The US and UK are facing a fight to keep their Syria attack plan on track

The UN and the UK Labour party want to delay any possible action.

A growing number of 'honest' commentators have turned against Obama and Cameron.

Dr Tim Stanley, a historian of the United States, writes in the UK Telegraph:

Syria: why would Assad invite a Western intervention by using WMDs

Dr Tim Stanley writes:

First, we've yet to ascertain that chemical weapons really were used by Assad – specifically we've not determined a) what kind of WMDs they were or b) who actually did it...

Second, why would the Assad regime do something so stupid?

It must know that by using chemical weapons it would isolate itself from any international support and invite a Western military response.

More importantly, Assad was already winning the war – so why bother to use WMDs during the last lap to victory?

Indeed, the only people who have anything to gain by Assad using chemicals are the rebels, because that would internationalise the conflict in a way that they have long lobbied for.
Girl raped and murdered by John Kerry's rebels.

Third, why is the West obliged to act even if Assad did use chemical weapons?

We are not under any such treaty obligations and the subject sure doesn't feature as a trigger for war in the US constitution...

John Kerry ... We've got one very good reason to doubt his accuracy: Iraq.

Remember that back in 2003, the then US secretary of state, Colin Powell, told the UN in no uncertain terms that Iraq definitely had WMDs.

Definitely, definitely, definitely.

brian refers us to the article entitled: Sarin Gas : a new propaganda campaign against Syria
According to VOLTAIRE NETWORK:

The YouTube the video evidence of the massacre of August 21st was posted by the "Majles Rif" account ... the day before, on August 20th .

On these videos, one quickly detects a setup:

1. The wounded children appear haggard or drugged, and do not have parents who accompany them.

2. Boys are often naked, while the girls are all dressed.

3. We see no hospital structure, not even a clandestine one, except screens and pockets of serum.

Some or all of these children may be children kidnapped by the rebels and then killed.

Of course the desperate, defeated 'al-Qaeda' terrorists launched the ALLEGED chemicals weapons attack that killed so many civilians, and even some of their own fighters......for authenticity, and the sacrifice for the 'Greater Good'

New York Times Puts Launch Point of Chem Weapons Rockets Inside Rebel Contested Area

By Scott Creighton at American Everyman.
.
The New York Times is attempting to bolster John Kerry’s baseless claim that the Syrian government used chemical weapons on their own people and in doing so, they seem to have provided some hard evidence to the contrary.
.
Combine that with recent images and video of the FSA “rebels” making and using 120mm mortar rounds in Syria and you have compelling evidence that if chemical weapons were used in Syria, then it was the US backed “rebels” who did it and not the Assad regime.
.
Means, motive and opportunity. The basic tenets of any investigation.

Opportunity

This is an image taken from an article in the New York Times which purports to show the location of the site where the rockets were launched.
nyt 1
Notice that the Times puts the “disputed areas” note far below that location but the fact is, both Qaboun and Jobar are currently disputed areas according to this up-to-date interactive map:
NYT 2
The map clearly shows the presence of our destabilization terrorists in those areas where the rockets were supposedly launched from. Right in the center of those three contested areas, to be exact.
.
The interactive map also shows that Muadamiya, the location where the UN inspection team was shot at, is also “contested” by the terrorists.
.
All of these areas are currently accessed by the FSA “rebels” which gives them the opportunity to commit this crime.

Means

It’s important to note the scale on the upper right side of the NYT image. It shows that the impact zone is roughly a mile and a half from the suspected launch site, which is well within the range of rebel weapons like these.
nyt 3
“The Syrian rebels have no one source for their weapons and have had to scrape together their arsenal in various ways. Here, Abdel Hakim Yassin, a rebel commander in northern Syria, inspects a Yugoslav illumination mortar round that was brought to him by an Iraqi arms dealer.” NPR 2012
nyt 4
“Terrorist gangs have carried out series of attacks against civilians residents in Homs city, what resulted in martyrs and injuries.
.
The attacks have been initiated along with Syrian Army’s advance in the neighborhoods of Homs such as al-Khalidia and Bab Hood, where insurgents have shelled a local-made missiles on Radio and TV center in Karm al-Shami area.
.
Moreover, militants have fired tens of the mortar shells on Ekrama and al-Zahraa neighborhoods, what resulted in many martyrs and injuries.” July 18, 2013
That mortar launcher pictured in the July 2013 article, is clearly capable of reaching the areas supposedly struck by the chemical weapons attack.
.
It looks like a version of an Israeli Soltam K6 120mm mortar system with a range of 23,750 ft. or 4.1 miles. It could also be an older General Dynamics M120 system.  Either way, it is clearly a long range, heavy mortar launcher, probably of the 120mm variety.
.
Whatever the make and model of the system that is in possession of the “rebel” forces, the target area is clearly within range and the fact that the area of the suspected launch is currently at least partially controlled by the “rebel” forces, casts serious doubts on Mr. Kerry’s baseless conclusions.
.
Below is a video of FSA “rebels” using 120mm mortar launchers in Syria posted by the rebels themselves back in March of this year.
.
.
Here is a video posted in March as well, showing the “rebels” making their own rounds for the 120mm mortar launcher. As you can see, they are capable of putting whatever they want inside the shell.
.
.
These videos and the maps provided by the New York Times and others show the FSA “rebels” certainly have the means by which they could have carried out the chemical weapons attacks if indeed they did occur.

Motive

The motive is obvious and hardly needs repeating. These hired mercenaries desperately want to create the pretext for an all out NATO bombing of Syria. They have failed in their terrorism campaign to overthrow the Assad government and they are desperate to create the “red line” that the Obama administration needs for further intervention.

'al-Qaeda' airforce......and navy.

Kucinich: Striking Syria Will Make U.S. Military ‘Al-Qaeda’s Air Force’

.

Former congressman Dennis Kucinich (D., Ohio) said today that striking Syria would turn the United States military into “al-Qaeda’s air force.”
.
Kucinich, who voted against the Iraq War and campaigned for the Democratic nomination for president in 2004 and 2008, lambasted the idea that Obama could act without congressional authorization, which he said would be a violation of the Constitution. He also warned that intervening in Syria would entangle the United States in another war in the Middle East and encourage Islamists who are fighting the forces of Syrian president Bashar Assad.
.
“So what, we’re about to become al-Qaeda’s air force now?” Kucinich sarcastically asked The Hill.
.
He went on to warn against attempting to “minimize” an intervention by terming it a “targeted strike.” Such a strike, he said, would still constitute an act of war.
.
Kucinich also blasted the Obama administration for “rushing” into what he said could become a third world war, and he cast doubt on reports by rebels of governmental forces using chemical weapons. He declared that the use of chemical weapons in Syria was a “pretext.”
.
“The verdict is in before the facts have been gathered,” Kucinich said. “What does that tell you?”

Illegal 21st century Crusader Wars for Israel

.
.
.
.

With no UN authorization and not even the relative rubber-stamp of a NATO authorization the legal justification for the upcoming Syrian War under international law is on extremely shaky ground. Both British and US officials are tackling that question, but in very different ways.
.
For Britain the question is a pretty huge one. With ongoing investigations over Tony Blair’s involvement in the illegal attack on Iraq, Prime Minister David Cameron is drawing uncomfortable comparisons.
.
That’s led Britain to seek parliamentary approval for the war, something which is liable to delay the war an extra day or two, but which will provide Cameron at least a little cover to argue that there was some legal process.
.
That may sound like a ticket to another protracted investigation in another 10 years, but it’s a lot more seriously than the Obama Administration is taking the matter, as US officials have no intention of asking Congress and seem to be placing the sum total of their legal argument on the idea that the attacks are going to be relatively small, at least to start with, and therefore its no big deal that there isn’t an endorsement.

Quietly, Israel Drives US Attack on Syria

Israeli Spies Claimed Secret 'Proof' of Chemical Weapons Attack

By Jason Ditz, at antiwar.com
Israel has clearly been quite comfortable with the idea of the US attacking Syria, but new revelations suggest that behind the scenes they have actually been the driving force on selling the Obama Administration on the narrative behind it.
.
The US has conspicuously insisted that the rebels’ story is “undeniable” even though they have never presented any proof of it, but the secret “proof” which is never put forth for public scrutiny apparently comes straight from Israeli intelligence.
.
According to the reports, Israeli military intelligence told the US they had wiretapped the Syrian government and heard them talking about using chemical weapons, insisting that “proved” that they were the ones who did it.
.
Israel has been pushing these stories multiple times, always citing dubious secret evidence that the public never gets to see. The administration, itself a big fan of secret proof that they don’t have to defend, has been only too eager to latch on to the idea, and it has now pushed them into an impending war.

How to achieve this?

1. Get rid of laws, red tape, colonial and post Colonial suspicious of business laws......just abolish them.

2. Fight corruption seriously. Lets give capital punishment for corruption...especially with big cases, involving government workers. That will change things.

3. Streamline the taxation system, so that more revenue is generated for the government. Maybe of India's PPP GDP of $5 trillion, the government only taxes 9/10% of that?

4. Once the government has more revenue, direct it specifically to INDUSTRY and INFRASTRUCTURE, two sectors of the economy which do not create inflation, but do provide jobs to the newer generations, makes the country wealthy, makes the country technically more advanced, makes the country more beautiful.......and spreads wealth to ALL classes....The CHINA TRICK/SECRET for 34 steady years.......started by the great pragmatists from Manchuria, and who suffered under Mao's misadventures. Deng Xiaoping.

Do not be afraid to try Asian Tiger economy methods and systems......the Chinese model is good. The ONLY thing India lacks is the administrative efficiency, BUT India can teach itself in this area. India has world class capable people, in taxation systems, strategic investment and public administration. What needs to be got rid of is the Colonial mentality of looking in the wrong direction.

5. Don't waste money on gimmick politics which give money/sops to the Neta/babus MAFIA and not the people, and White elephant projects like stealth submarines and Nuclear aircraft carriers. It is an absolute waste of money for a country with so much OTHER essential needs.....AND for a land power which faces threats in the mountains.........READ THE OMENS.

India's success is staring at it in the north/NE, AND THIS MODEL OF GROWTH IS VERY IMPORTANT, if the USA economy collapses in the near future.

There were 3 friends....one a Hindu, one a Mussalman, and one a Sikh......and then..

This trick applies to ALL South Asia.

India can't afford to grow at less than 8%: Chidambaram

By Times of India.

India cannot afford to grow at less than 8 percent per year and needs more reforms to revive growth, finance minister P Chidambaram told parliament on Tuesday during a debate on the state of the country's economy.

Asia's third-largest economy has struggled to lift itself out the worst economic slump in a decade. The government is trying to introduce a slew of reforms, including freeing up foreign investment in the insurance, pension and defence sectors, and simplifying tax laws to spur investment.
