Iran WILL protect Syria

.
.
.
.
The Mullahs were slow, not wishing to immediately downplay or even discourage seemingly popular "Islamist" led uprisings against secular, moderate, pro-Western dictators-----this was after all the replay of 1979, and their own Islamic Revolution.

But over time slowly the mullah regime has given its public backing to the Socialist Assad regime, essentially for four reasons:

(i) Syria is the longest, most reliable ally of Iran.
(ii) Is the only unquestioning Arab ally of Iran. American remolded Iraq less so.
(iii) Syria is a Shia sect led nation. Alawites who are 13% of Syria's population have ruled the country since the end of colonialism. This means for all its pan-Islamic talk mullah Iran is more keenly focused on the advancement of Shia Muslims. Ditto its relationship with Shia Hezbollah.
(iv) If Syria is allowed to be toppled by "al-CIA-duh" it will be Iran's turn next, followed by Central Asia, and then Russia and China.

It is not unreasonable to guess the Israeli propaganda reports of 30,000 Revolutionary Guard in Syria, fighting Sunni based "al-CIA-duh" affiliated groups who take great pleasure in desecrating Shia shrines in Syria, of which there are many.

If Turkey can OPENLY entertain, train, arm, finance SUNNI "al-CIA-duh" terrorists, rapists, murderers, looters and traitors with the help of the USA/Israel to attack Syria......this is the least Iran can do.

Iran Will Not Allow West to Overthrow Assad: Salehi

By Press TV and Information clearing House.

--  Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi says Iran will never allow any Western plots to oust Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to succeed.

Salehi on Sunday stressed that Iran would not allow Western projects to forcibly overthrow Assad -- whether by indirect meddling in the form of arming militants or direct meddling -- to succeed.

He added that the behavior of Western powers and certain regional countries towards Syria is in blatant violation of accepted human regulations and divine laws.
Salehi said such hostile behavior cannot be justified under any circumstances and “such behaviors must be immediately stopped which is exactly what we have proposed in the form of a six-point plan for Syria to the UN, [the UN-Arab League Special Envoy to Syria] Lakhdar Brahimi, and several regional countries including Egypt and Saudi Arabia.”
The Iranian foreign minister said pressures exerted on an independent country like Syria to change its policies with regards to colonialism and occupation were against international law.

“Efforts are underway to overthrow the ruling system in Syria without regards for the vote of the Syrian nation and this is while only Syrians have the right to choose their political system and leader,” Salehi said.

The top Iranian diplomat emphasized that despite increasing foreign efforts for regime change in Syria, Iran would do everything in its power to prevent this from happening.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011, and many people, including large numbers of security forces, have been killed in the violence.

The Syrian government says certain Western states especially the United States and its regional allies are fueling the unrest.

Righteous legitimate Baathist Socialist Syria must prevail over the forces of darkness and utter evil.

Syria: Insurgents On The Run?

By Moon Of Alabama and "
Information Clearing House

-  The recent second attempt of foreign terrorists and Syrian insurgents to advance on Damascus failed catastrophically just like the first one in July did. The defeat last summer was followed by big insurgency losses as the Syrian army launched a counterattack in Rif Dimash. It seems likely that the recent second battle around Damascus is now being followed up on with a similar campaign. Some "western" media now start to acknowledge this:
The picture of Syria most common believed abroad is of the rebels closing in on the capital as the Assad government faces defeat in weeks or, at most, a few months. The Secretary General of Nato, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, said last week that the regime is "approaching collapse". The foreign media consensus is that the rebels are making sweeping gains on all fronts and the end may be nigh. But when one reaches Damascus, it is to discover that the best informed Syrians and foreign diplomats say, on the contrary, that the most recent rebel attacks in the capital had been thrown back by a government counteroffensive.
The recent defeat in Damascus came despite intensified training for the insurgents by British, American and Jordanian special forces and despite new weapons delivered to them from the Gulf dictatorships.

A major insurgency attack on a Syrian Arab Army infantry school in al-Meslmyeh was, according to Syrian government sources, also repelled. This sugar coated report of the NYT is skating around this fact:
In the northern city of Aleppo, rebels claimed to have taken another important military installation, the region’s infantry school, though some reports said that fighting continued on Saturday.
There was an outpouring of grief from anti government activists and fighters after [Yousef al-Jader] a commander of a rebel group, the Tawhid, or Unification, Brigade, was reported to have died in the fighting.
...
The commander was one of many fighters to die in the fighting at the infantry school, which is north of Aleppo, in Muslimiyah.
...
It is unclear whether the rebels will keep control of the base. In many cases, rebels have quickly taken ammunition from captured bases and then abandoned them, wary of government attacks.
Translation of the last sentence: "After partial success in their attack on the infantry school a counterattack launched by the government drove the insurgents away from the school."

The Syrian army is now raiding the places from which the infantry school attack was launched:
The source added that scores of terrorists were killed and several of their hideouts were destroyed in the farms near the Infantry School in al-Meslmyeh.
Leader of a terrorist group Yousef al-Jader was killed along with scores of terrorists in al-Meslmyeh in Aleppo countryside.
About the same time the leader of the Tawhid brigade was killed, Ayad Al-Tubasi, the leader of the Nusra Front, also found his end. While both will of course soon be replaced their death shows that those in such positions are not immune to countermeasures.

SANA's long list of recent successes by the Syrian Arab Army is a sign that there are currently wide ranging sweeping operations underway and that the insurgents are under increasing pressure.

The "western" and Gulf support of the insurgents continues even after nearly all insurgent groups pledged their continued support for the jihadist Nusra Front which the U.S. designated as a terrorist organization. Such insurgents also committed a sectarian massacre in the town of Aqrab. Only a few "western" media mention these embarrassing facts.

Instead we get the recent talk of "chemical weapon preparation", "Scud like weapon launches" and that the "regime is about to collapse". It seems to me that this propaganda campaign is designed to cover up for the very significant defeat the insurgency received in its second attack on Damascus and in its other operation:
This misperception of the reality on the ground in Syria is fuelled in part by propaganda, but more especially by inaccurate and misleading reporting by the media where bias towards the rebels and against the government is unsurpassed since the height of the Cold War.
Also part of this propaganda campaign was the misleading citation of the Russian deputy foreign minister Bogdanov interpreted as Russia throwing the towel. Here is what Bogdanov, according to Russia Today, really said:
"The fighting will become even more intense, and (Syria) will lose tens of thousands and, perhaps, hundreds of thousands of civilians," he warned. "If such a price for the removal of the president seems acceptable to you, what can we do? We, of course, consider it absolutely unacceptable."
If something is "absolutely unacceptable" isn't one inclined to do a lot to prevent it from happening. We can, I believe, expect intensified Russian involvement as things develop on the ground.

According to this Arabic source Russia considers to establish an air bridge to relief the population in Aleppo and other affected areas from food shortages. Those Russians plane would like carry more than just flour.

Bogdanov also said:
"Syrian militants have threatened to attack the embassies of Russia and Ukraine in Damascus to ‘take care of’ the Russians. The US sends special operations forces in such cases," he warned.
I read that as: "The Spetnatz are on their way."

Last week the sectarian terrorists burned down (video) another Shia mosque. How many young Shia believers from Iraq or Iran will now be willing to go to Syria to protect such places of worship?

Also consider this simple straightforward statement:
“The Islamic Republic of Iran won’t allow Western plans and scenarios aimed at overthrowing the Syrian government to succeed,” [Iran’s foreign minister] Ali Akbar Salehi said in comments posted on state TV’s website.
Yes, the insurgents are winning the youtube propaganda war, but the real war will be won on the ground. There my impression is that the insurgency, while it is not defeated, is currently on the run while the Syrian government is advancing and its support is steadfast. Still, there is a lot "fog of war" in the air and my somewhat optimistic reading of the situation may not be completely right.

But consider this recent tweet by the BBC's Middle East editor Jeremy Bowen:
Preparing to leave #Damascus. Legit question: maybe enemies of #Assad been guilty of wishful thinking about their chances of toppling him

Putin Backs Efforts to Compel $1 Trillion Repatriation

BLOOMBERG
By Scott Rose & Ilya Arkhipov and therearenosunglasses.com

Russian President Vladimir Putin threw his support behind efforts by allied lawmakers to repatriate as much as $1 trillion in capital held by companies and high ranking officials abroad.
Russia should proceed with anti-corruption legislation that would put limits on bureaucrats and politicians owning foreign bank deposits and securities, Putin said today in Moscow in his first state-of-the-nation address since returning to the presidency in May. The curbs should include all top policy makers including the president, prime minister and their families, he said.

Clawing back assets amassed by Russians in low-tax foreign jurisdictions is central to Putin’s plan to reignite and diversify the sagging economy through investment. The government this week cut its growth forecast for next year to 3.6 percent, less than the “minimum” 5 percent to 6 percent Russia needs over the next decade, Putin said.

“How can you trust an official or politician who makes bold statements about the wellbeing ofRussia, but then tries to move his funds, his cash, abroad?” Putin said. “Property abroad should be declared regardless, and officials should report its value and also the source of the income that allowed them to make that transaction.”

Fighting Graft

Putin has embarked on the most far-reaching campaign against corruption of his 12-year rule since reclaiming the Kremlin this year, ousting Defense Minister Anatoly Serdyukov because of graft allegations against his subordinates. Russia kept its ranking as the world’s most corrupt major economy, according to Transparency International’s 2012 Corruption Perceptions Index published Dec. 5, placing it alongside Honduras and below Uganda and Nicaragua.

Russia could win back as much as $1 trillion in cash held abroad by offering an amnesty, Vyacheslav Lysakov, a State Duma deputy and member of the People’s Front movement that backs Putin, said in an interview before the speech today. Under the proposal, the returning funds would still be taxed, he said.

“It’s a replenishment for the state budget and also the investments we so sorely need,” Lysakov said. “This is money that’s supporting the Western economy, the Western banking system, Western companies. That’s not right.”

Fleeing Jurisdiction

The government must also move to improve Russian courts and legislation to stop what Putin said was a “flight” from the country’s jurisdiction. He ordered the government to draft proposals to bring about the “de-offshorization” of the economy, including using local exchanges for state asset sales.

“Our entrepreneurs are often criticized for being unpatriotic,” he said. “Nine out of 10 significant deals done by large Russian companies, including companies partly owned by the state, are not subject to Russian law.”

Alexei Kudrin, who served as Putin’s finance minister for 11 years, said exiting offshores “really must be done through making the Russian jurisdiction more attractive, not through compulsion,” according to a post on his Twitter Inc. account.

The Micex Index of 30 stocks has advanced 3.3 percent this year through yesterday, lagging behind a 12.9 percent advance in the MSCI Emerging Markets Index. The ruble-denominated benchmark was 1.4 percent higher at 1,468.52 as of 5:20 p.m. in Moscow, heading for the highest close since Oct. 22.
$12 Billion

Russians spent $12 billion on foreign property last year, compared with $5.5 billion a year in 2007 and 2008, central bank Chairman Sergei Ignatiev said April 5. Net capital outflows may reach $75 billion this year after doubling to $80.5 billion in 2011, according to the Economy Ministry.
Putin is trying to boost investment to at least 27 percent of economic output by the end of his term in 2018, from 21 percent last year. The Economy Ministry cut its growth forecast for next year this week and has urged the government to spend more of its oil revenue on roads and other infrastructure.

Hours after taking the oath of office in May, Putin signed more than a dozen orders laying out plans for the economy, foreign and social policy. In addition to boosting investment, Putin ordered the government to improve Russia’s standing in the World Bank’s Doing Business rating to 20th by 2018 and creating 25 million high-quality jobs by 2020.

The government is also trying to cut its dependence on oil and gas, which account for half of thefederal budget’s revenue. Without those resources, the budget would be in a deficit of about 10.5 percent of GDP this year, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov said Dec. 9.

In his speech today, Putin said the central bank and government should do more to safeguard jobs and growth, noting that other monetary regulators including the U.S. Federal Reserve had an explicit mandate to ensure growth.

“We need long and cheap money to lend to the economy, further reductions in inflation and competitive bank rates,” Putin said, adding that he wasn’t calling for changes to Bank Rossii’s mandate. “I’m asking the government and central bank to think about ways to achieve those goals.”

HITLER ESCAPED by aangirfan

US government agents helped Hitler to escape from Germany.

The evidence has been collected in the book 'Grey Wolf: The Escape Of Adolf' by historians Gerrard Williams and Simon Dunstan

Hitler escaped: Leading historian says.

According to Williams and Dunston:

There is 'overwhelming evidence' that Hitler escaped to Fascist Argentina.

Hitler died in 1962 at the age of 73.

There is no forensic evidence for Hitler's death inGermany.

The stories from eyewitnesses to Hitler's continued survival in Argentina are compelling.

American intelligence officials were complicit in the escape.

The USA took over war technology developed by the Nazis.

Skull fragments thought to be those of Hitler currently held by the Russians are actually that of a young woman under the age of 40.

Josef Mengele (above), Klaus Barbie and Adolf Eichmann were among the many Nazis who were allowed to escape. Mengele reportedly went to work for the CIA.

Hitler had a 'double' who remained in the Berlin bunker.

Hitler travelled to a Spanish military base at Reus, south of Barcelona.

General Franco supplied a plane to take Hitler to Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands.

Hitler then boarded a U-boat.

Declassified FBI documents refer to Hitler having escaped from Berlin to South America.

There is testimony from the pilot who helped Hitler escape.

A number of sources, such as cooks and doctors, say that they knew Hitler in Argentina.

Hitler died aged 73 on 13 February 1962.

Hitler's bloodline survived through two daughters he had with Eva Braun in Argentina.

It would appear that since at least the 1930s, the USA has been the centre of a vast secret fascist network. Top Americans financed Hitler and carried on his work after World War II.
Author Abel Basti, in his 2003 book Hitler In Argentina, said Hitler and Braun escaped to Argentina and lived in the area of San Carlos de Bariloche, a tourist site 1,000 miles southwest of Buenos Aires.

In his book Bariloche Nazi-Guía Turística, Basti included documents, affidavits, photographs and blueprints to show the sites where Hitler and his fellow Nazis lived in Bariloche.

Basti refers to the Incalco Ranch, in Villa la Angostura, where Hitler lived.

The ranch belonged to Argentine businessman Jorge Antonio, friend president Perón.

Basti also claimed Hitler lived at Hacienda San Ramon.

Some of the top Nazis brought over to the USA
There would appear to be a secret fascist network that runs a number of governments.

After World War II, the U.S. military brought a large number of the top German Nazi scientists to the United States.

The code name for this operation was Project Paperclip. (aangirfan: MENGELE, MOSSAD AND THE CIA )

Emilio Massero (October 19, 1925 – November 8, 2010)
Emilio Massera would appear to be part of the secret fascist network.

He was trained by the Pentagon, at the School of the Americas.

Emilio Massera trafficked in babies and young children. (Admiral Emilio Massera.)

He was involved with P2, the international masonic lodge which, as part of Operation Gladio, helped carry out terrorism in Italy.

He set up a CIA-funded torture centre. (Cruyff - ZANI :: Articles)

This was designed to kill an estimated 30,000 "enemies of the state". (Admiral Emilio Massera.)

Argentina has a Nazi past.

Massera was the leading figure in the three man fascist military junta which came to power in Argentina in 1976.

He was part of the Pentagon's Plan Cóndor, which carried out acts of terrorism in South America.

He was a close friend of the papal nuncio Archbishop, now Cardinal, Pio Laghi. (Admiral Emilio Massera.)

Laghi and the Vatican supported the junta's atrocities, including the murder of at least one bishop.

Emilio Massera helped organise the torture and murder and child trafficking in Argentina.

In basements, "ordinary Argentines were kept for years blindfolded, chained and shackled." (Emilio Massera The Economist)

A suspect's head would be held "under water fouled with faeces and urine until they thought they were drowning."

Innocent citizens were loaded on to military aircraft "from which they would be tossed, living, into the sea.

"Perhaps 10,000 Argentines died this way in the seven years the junta was in power." (Emilio Massera The Economist)

Admiral Massera's forces were involved in "random terror ... abductions, murder, rape and the routine use of ...the utmost violence". (Emilio Massera The Economist)

"Bodies were burned at 'barbecues' on the sports field. The admiral himself took part at first to encourage his men." (Emilio Massera The Economist)

Massera liked young actresses.

"He enjoyed his official yacht, even when Fernando Branca, a millionaire whose wife was one of his lovers, curiously vanished from it without trace while they were out sailing together." (Emilio Massera The Economist)

What was the secret of Massera's success?

Like the fascist leader Juan Peron, he was involved with the P-2 Masonic lodge.

His Masonic friends "included global arms-dealers and drug-traffickers, as well as the Vatican bank." (Emilio Massera The Economist)

In 1985, he was sentenced to life imprisonment.

But, of course, he did not go to jail.

President Carlos Menem pardoned him.

Argentina is the country to which Adolf Hitler retired.

In Argentina, the "CIA funded Navy Mechanics School (ESMA) was where opponents (active or perceived) to the dictatorship were raped, tortured, murdered and scientifically experimented on... Klaus Barbie, famous for his torture techniques during Hitler’s reign of terror, was undoubtedly called upon in an 'advisory capacity' at ESMA. Barbie was a CIA asset." (Cruyff - ZANI :: Articles)

On 28 september 2009, in the Daily Mail, we read of fresh doubts over Hitler's death.

A skull fragment originally thought to be from Hitler has had its DNA tested, by American researchers.

The skull fragment has turned out to be that of a woman under 40.

The skull fragment was originally found outside Hitler's bunker, and it has been kept by Soviet intelligence.

Hitler did not die in 1945?

Hitler was allowed to escape to South America?

"Soviet soldiers dug deep into the rubble of the Reich Chancellery for Hitler's corpse.

"They did not find it," states the May 14, 1945 issue of TIME magazine.

Stalin announced to Truman during lunch in Potsdam on July 17, 1945, 78 days after his 'death', that Hitler had escaped.

The American FBI kept a file on Hitler, long after 1945.

The FBI investigated reports from newspaper articles and individuals claiming that Hitler was in Argentina.

Back in 1944, Hoover had been told by an informant that Hitler would receive refuge in Argentina.

A memo stated that Argentine's leaders planned to conduct secret meetings with Hitler "for the arranging of importing arms and technicians into Argentina."

The memo stated that a "large wealthy German colony in Argentina affords tremendous possibilities... as a refuge for Hitler.... Count Luxburg, has been mentioned as operating a ranch which would serve in providing a haven."

Just after the war ended, Otto Abetz, Germany's wartime ambassador to France, claimed that Hitler "is certainly not dead."

On 20th June 1948, El Tiempo, a newspaper published in Colombia, claimed that Hitler had escaped by submarine to South America.

Under Operation Paperclip the US and British governments helped many Nazis to escape from Germany.

The following sources tell us more: http://www.rense.com/general54/1960.htm /http://www.coverups.com/hitler/visitors.htm

Abel Basti, an Argentinian journalist, is the author of 'Bariloche Nazi'.

Basti claims Hitler escaped to San Carlos de Bariloche, in Patagonia, in Argentina, and died in 1960.

According to Basti, Hitler reached South America by submarine on July 28, 1945.

The official story is that Hitler committed suicide in his bunker on April 30, 1945.

In 1978, Basti went to work as a forest ranger in Bariloche.

Basti was interested in the extradition to Italy of Nazi captain Erich Priebke in 1995.

Priebke was detained in Bariloche.

According to Basti, traces of Hitler's presence in southern Argentina gradually emerge.

Basti claims to have eyewitness accounts from qualified people who were with Hitler in Argentina.

Basti reports FBI, British Intelligence, and Argentinean Navy documents discussing the presence of Nazi subs in the South Atlantic in July and August 1945.

The first official reports, in 1945, talk of an escape.

When the Red Army entered the bunker, Stalin asked for confirmation of Hitler's death and the general in charge reportedly said that he could not give confirmation as there was no body.

According to Basti: "In 1950, two sailors from the Graf Spee, a German vessel sunk by its own crew on the River Plate, said that they received at least two submarines in Patagonia on July 28, 1945."
Fascists in the USA in 1939.

From this source, http://www.crystalinks.com/aldebaran.html, we learn more:

In his book, Basti reproduces documents, affidavits, photographs and blueprints concerning the sites that sheltered Hitler, Martin Bormann, Joseph Mengele and Adolf Eichmann.

Basti states that 'The only 'official' story is the report made by General Zhukov, commander of the Soviet armies that occupied Berlin. Zhukov reportedly stated that Hitler and several Nazi leaders had escaped, presumably to Spain or the Americas. "This is what Stalin advised the U.S. government," says Basti.

Basti's book has a photo of the Incalco Ranch, located in Villa la Angostura on the shores of Lago Nahuel Huapi, 80 kilometers (50 miles) north of Bariloche. This was where Hitler allegedly lived.
The ranch is hidden by a pine forest and can only be reached by boat or hydroplane.

The ranch belonged to one of the most trusted aides of Peron, who was president of Argentina from 1946 to 1955.

Basti refers to Peron's secretary Rudolph Fraude, son of a German millionaire. Fraude allegedly looked after former Nazis in Argentina, among them Eichmann, who was captured in 1960 outside Buenos Aires by Israeli commandos.

Basti claims that Hitler also lived at Hacienda San Ramon, 10 kilometers east of Bariloche, which belonged at the time to the German principality of Schaumberg-Lippe.

Basti emphasises the 'vital assistance' offered by Peron's government at the time 'to admit the Fuhrer's henchmen into that country.'

The real Hitler?

Sir Alan Lascelles was King George VI's private secretary from 1943-52.

Lascelles, in his diaries, entitled King's Counsellor, wrote that, in June 1944, General Georges Catroux, of the Free French forces, had asked the British government's Alfred Duff Cooper "to see a certain French officer, urgently."

The diary entry for 21 June 1944
continues: "This man, who is a very big noise in the French intelligence service, told Duff that he had very reliable information that Hitler had fled from Berlin to a villa near Perpignan, where he is now hiding and waiting a favourable opportunity to slip across the Spanish frontier."

By 1944, Hitler no longer appeared in public. (20 July plot - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Why might Hitler have wanted to leave Germany in 1944?

According to Lascelles, Germany talked of peace terms as early as 1943.

In his diary entry for 27 december 1943, Lascelles wrote: "Hughe Knatchbull-Hugessen telegraphed yesterday from Ankara that Numan (Turkish Foreign Minister) had told him ... that the German Minister in Bucharest had called (in uniform) on the Romanian Foreign Minister, and told him Germany would accept peace on the following terms: they would surrender fleet, submarines, merchant fleet, air force, disarm completely, evacuate all occupied territory, undertake never to ask for colonies, and leave Europe to be organised according to the wishes of the Allies.

"The only condition they asked for is economic freedom for Germany, but this is to be arranged as found suitable by the Allies."

Note how many countries became part of the Soviet Empire after 1945.

Roosevelt and Churchill insisted on unconditional surrender.

And this worked to the advantage of Russia, which ened up controlling Eastern Europe (The Price We Paid for Roosevelt's "Unconditional Surrender").

In 1943, sections of the German military showed signs of wanting rid of Hitler.

Between 1943 and March 1944 there were seven plots against Hitler. (Axis History Factbook: Assassination Plots & Attempts)

The 20th July 1944 plot failed to kill Hitler, or his 'double'.

Journalist Abel Basti says Hitler escaped from Spain by submarine into exile in South America.

He claims to have a document showing the FBI searched for the Hitler in Spain in 1947. (Adolf Hitler 'fled into exile' - The Sunday Mail )

If Hitler fled from Berlin in June 1944, then who was acting as his 'double' back in Germany, up until April 1945, when Hitler supposedly died.

Is this Hitler's 'double'?

According to Time magazine, in 1935: "Adolf Hitler last week became the first Dictator frankly to employ a double.
"Impersonating the Realmleader, a pudgy-fingered, smudge-mustached person officially opened the new motor highway from Holzkirchen to Munich.

"Suddenly the crowd recognized Dictator Hitler standing unobtrusively a few yards from his double and good-natured German cheers were given first for one, then for the other." (GERMANY: Double Hitler - TIME)

Reportedly, the Russians found the corpse of Adolf Hitler's double near Hitler's bunker.

In November 1944, the Daily Express published photos of Hitler 'past' and 'present', suggesting that the 'present' Hitler was not the real Hitler.

The Express pointed out that the ears on the 'present' Hitler were different from the ears on the 'past' Hitler.

The Daily Express, according to Sir Alan Lascelles in his diary entry of 23 November 1944, "proves fairly conclusively" that the man in the recent photos "cannot be the real Hitler."

This is Hitler as a young man. Notice his thin nose.

This could be Hitler's double. Notice the fat nose.

Hitler's double? The real Hitler?

The 'body of Heinrich Himmler', after committing suicide, 1945. Some people allege that this is Himler's double.

Russia reasserting its sovereignty from global Jewish Capitalism, after 21 years of the end of the Cold War.

Russia Ousts Meddling US NGOs, Fake Protests Peter Out

By Tony Cartalucci.
Alexei Navalny - US funded "activist."
  - Saturday, December 15 saw a disappointing show for Western-backed protesters in Moscow - with estimates of only a few hundred showing up. Led by faux-Communist Sergey Udaltsov and confirmed Western-funded opposition leaders Alexei Navalny, Ilya Yashin, and Boris Nemtsov, even the Western media had to admit the momentum they had hoped to incite is failing to materialize.

AFP's "Year on, Russian opposition subdued but not defeated," and Washington Post's "Thousands protest against Putin, but opposition momentum has slowed," despite unqualified attempts to embellish the size and strength of both the protest and the opposition in general, reflect the winding down of Western attempts to foment chaos across Russia. While the Washington Post cites Russian President Vladamir Putin's "co-opting" of opposition issues, by actually addressing legitimate concerns regarding his government, there is also another dimension that is more muted.

The Russian War Against Foreign Subversion.

Reuters alludes to other possible explanations in their article, "No Russian revolution after a year of protests," stating:
Putin was elected to a six-year third term in March and the parliament, dominated by his party, has pushed through laws which critics say can be used to stifle dissent - tightening controls of the Internet, imposing new checks on foreign-funded lobby groups and broadening the definition of treason.
Indeed, Russia has placed immense restrictions on foreign-funded lobby groups and NGOs, demanding that they exhibit the same level of transparency and honesty that they themselves demand of the government. Foreign subversion, however, requires a degree of deceit and exploitation toward targeted segments of the population. Subversion will not work if its agents are required to state on all their pamphlets, websites, and signs that they are foreign-funded - and predictably both the US and the opposition it has contrived inside Russia, derided the pro-transparency legislation.

This is what Reuters categorically fails to mention - that the entire so-called "opposition" is in fact foreign-funded, with at least one of Saturday's protest leaders, Boris Nemtsov, earlier this year being caught slinking into the US Embassy for a secret meeting with then newly appointed US Ambassador to Russia, Michael McFaul

US Ambassador McFaul himself has chaired the US National Endowment for Democracy and Freedom House, both of which directly fund and support many amongst the "Russian" opposition. In other words Nemtsov in his early 2012 US Embassy appearance, was visiting his paymaster.

Images: Caught red-handed - Russia's opposition, long accused by the Kremlin of being foreign-funded, and who have well documented ties to the US State Department, are caught filing into the US Embassy in Moscow in January of 2012, just days after agitator Michael McFaul began his stint as US Ambassador to Russia. (click on image to enlarge)

....

Alexey Navalny, another leader present during Saturday's disappointing showing, was a Yale World Fellow, and in his profile it states:
"Navalny spearheads legal challenges on behalf of minority shareholders in large Russian companies, including Gazprom, Bank VTB, Sberbank, Rosneft, Transneft, and Surgutneftegaz, through the Union of Minority Shareholders. He has successfully forced companies to disclose more information to their shareholders and has sued individual managers at several major corporations for allegedly corrupt practices. Navalny is also co-founder of the Democratic Alternative [DA!] movement and was vice-chairman of the Moscow branch of the political party YABLOKO. In 2010, he launched RosPil, a public project funded by unprecedented fundraising in Russia. In 2011, Navalny started RosYama, which combats fraud in the road construction sector."
The Democratic Alternative, also written DA!, is indeed a National Endowment for Democracy fund recipient, meaning that Alexey Navalny is an agent of US-funded sedition and willfully hiding it from his followers. The US State Department itself reveals this as they list "youth movements" operating in Russia:
"DA!: Mariya Gaydar, daughter of former Prime Minister Yegor Gaydar, leads DA! (Democratic Alternative). She is ardent in her promotion of democracy, but realistic about the obstacles she faces. Gaydar said that DA! is focused on non-partisan activities designed to raise political awareness. She has received funding from the National Endowment for Democracy, a fact she does not publicize for fear of appearing compromised by an American connection."
Alexey was involved in founding a movement directly funded by the US government and to this day has the very people who funded DA! defending him throughout the Western media. The mention of co-founder Mariya Gaydar is also revealing, as she has long collaborated, and occasionally has been arrested with, Ilya Yashin, yet another leader of a NED-funded Russian "activist" opposition group.

....

Ilya Yashin, who was detained before arriving at Saturday's protest, leads the Moscow branch of the People's Freedom Party and is a leading member of the "Strategy 31" campaign, which claims to be fighting for the freedom of assembly. Unfortunately, Strategy 31's ranks are filled with activists trained and coordinated by US NED-funded NGOs. From the official NED.org website we find:
"Moscow Group of Assistance in the Implementation of the Helsinki Accords $50,000 To draw greater attention to the issue of freedom of assembly in Russia and to the “Strategy 31” movement, which seeks to protect this fundamental right. The organization will train a network of regional activists and coordinate their activities through mini-seminars and field visits, and conduct an information campaign through press conferences, posters, and educational handouts pertaining to freedom of assembly, to be distributed to the general public by regional partners."
This is also confirmed in NED's "Democracy Digest" where the "Moscow Helsinki Group" is explicitly stated as leading Strategy 31 marches and that the group is a "long-time grantee of the National Endowment of Democracy."

Worst yet, Yashin's People's Freedom Party is lined not with aspiring youth seeking "freedom" for the Russian people, but rather lined with career politicians and businessmen collaborating with foreign-interests. Among them is Vladimir Ryzhkov, a member of the NED-funded, Washington-based World Movement for Democracy. There is also Boris Nemtsov whose adviser, Vladimir Kara-Murza (of Solidarnost) recently took part in a September 14, 2011 NED-sponsored event titled, "Elections in Russia: Polling and Perspectives" where they used a NED-funded polling organization, the "Levada Center," to project "winners" in upcoming elections and study the Manezh riots of 2010 - for now obvious reasons as the US attempts to fan the flames of unrest across Russia.

Russia Faces Subversion, not Revolution.

What gathered in Moscow on Saturday, December 15, 2012, was not a representation of the Russian people's dissatisfaction with their government. It was the organized, funded, and promoted manifestation of Wall Street and Washington's ambitions regarding the division and despoilment of the Russian nation - as it was well along the way of accomplishing in the 90's after the collapse of the Soviet Union during the "age of oligarchs.'

Like the West is attempting to do around the world, from Egypt to Tunisia, from Libya to Syria, and across Asia, it is couching hegemonic expansion within the cause of "democracy" and "freedom," diminishing both as it exploits the well-meaning intentions of millions around the world. The closing of the US NGO cash spigot in Russia and the subsequent petering out of the so-called opposition is not a coincidence - it is yet another exhibit of Western duplicity and its abuse of both the masses, and the better lives they seek.

Unmasking the Brotherhood: Syria, Egypt, and Beyond

By Eric Draitser. at (Stop Imperialism)

- The complexities of the Arab Spring and the struggle for political freedom throughout the Arab world should not obscure what has now become an absolutely essential understanding for all anti-imperialists: the Muslim Brotherhood is one of the most powerful weapons of the Western ruling class in the Muslim world.
(The writer is overstating a point ......besides Egypt the organization does not run any other Muslim Majority countries of which there are 57 in the world. Islamic Fundamentalism is generally a more powerful threat used by Western Intelligence to destabilize Muslim countries....but not all Islamists emanate from the Muslim Brotherhood....to say so would be to simplify things. The mullahs of Iran, Taliban or Hezbollah are not linked to the Muslim Brotherhood......Peter Goodgame has already written about this in more detail, but it is always reassuring to see American writers for the first time highlighting the issue in major league blogs, at least.)

one need look no further than the insidious role the organization is playing in Syria and the abuses of power and human rights of the current MB government of Egypt.

In the US-NATO sponsored war against the Assad government, the Muslim Brotherhood has emerged as the leading western-sanctioned force, the avant-garde of the imperialist assault.  While, in Egypt, President Morsi and the Brotherhood government seek to destroy what had been, little more than a year ago, the promise of the revolution.

Muslim Brotherhood in Syria

This week's establishment of the Supreme Military Command, in charge of all military aid and coordination to the rebels, demonstrates unequivocally the leadership role of the Muslim Brotherhood in the drive for regime change in Syria.  As Reuters reported, "The unified command includes many with ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and to Salafists...it excludes the most senior officers who have defected from Assad's military."[1] This command structure, formed at the behest and under the sponsorship of the US, UK, France, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey among others, does not simply include members of the Muslim Brotherhood, it is, in fact, dominated by them.  Is it possible that the Western imperial powers simply did not notice that the group they were forming was comprised of these elements?  To suggest so would be to accuse some of the leading "statesmen" of the world (Hillary Clinton, William Hague, Laurent Fabius, Ahmet Davutoglu, etc.) of being stupid.  Alas, they are not so.  Instead, these individuals have collaborated to create a Muslim Brotherhood proxy force in Syria, one that can be controlled and depended on to do the bidding of the West.

However, it is not enough to say that the Muslim Brotherhood is heading this new military structure, for that would be to imply that they have not been playing a critical role all along.  Rather, the organization has been central to the destabilization of Syria since the beginning of the armed conflict.  The Syrian National Council, originally the face of the Western-backed "opposition" was itself dominated behind the scenes by the Muslim Brotherhood. As former Muslim Brotherhood leader Ali Sadreddine stated regarding the SNC, "We chose this face, accepted by the West...We nominated [former SNC head Burhan] Ghalioun as a front for national action. We are not moving now as the Brotherhood but as part of a front that includes all currents."[2] Essentially then, we see that the organization has, from the very beginning, maintained a large degree of control of the foreign-based opposition, as distinctly different from the indigenous opposition of the National Coordinating Councils and other groups.  The Muslim Brotherhood, an international political and paramilitary machine, has come to lead the battle against Assad government.

In fact, the Muslim Brotherhood has provided many forms of leadership and assistance to the foreign-based, foreign-backed opposition beyond simply direct leadership. From providing diplomatic and political cover, to on-the-ground tactical support such as weapons smuggling, fighter recruitment, and other necessary responsibilities, the organization has come to permeate every aspect of what we in the West conveniently refer to as the "rebels".

As early as May 2012, the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, the center of the organization, was already providing the political and diplomatic support the rebels needed to topple the Assad regime.  As they were poised to win the Egyptian elections, the Brotherhood was busy making public comments about the need for Western military intervention in Syria.  The organization's spokesman, Mahmoud Ghozlan stated, "The Muslim Brotherhood calls on Arab, Islamic, and international governments to intervene...to bring down the [Assad] regime."[3] This brazen public statement flies in the face of all arguments which claim that the Muslim Brotherhood is somehow anti-imperialist, that they stand in opposition to Western dominance of the Arab world.  On the contrary, though they may posture themselves as opposing the West, they are, in fact, tools of the imperial powers used to destroy independent nations which stand in opposition to US hegemony in the Middle East.

....

This political and diplomatic backing is merely one aspect of the Brotherhood's involvement in the destruction of Syria.  As the New York Times reported in June of 2012, "CIA officers are operating secretly in Southern Turkey helping allies decide which Syrian opposition fighters across the border will receive arms...by way of a shadowy network of intermediaries including Syria's Muslim Brotherhood."[4] The use of the Muslim Brotherhood to smuggle arms to the rebels in Syria should come as no surprise considering the fact that it is the Sunni monarchies of the region (Saudi Arabia and Qatar primarily) who have been the most vociferous voices championing regime change in Syria by any means necessary.  The relationship between these monarchies and the Muslim Brotherhood is self-evident: they share similar religious convictions and are avowed enemies of all forms of Shiism.  Moreover, they have been part and parcel of the system of US hegemony that has kept the entire region under its vice grip for decades.

Many have argued in the past that, though they share identical ideologies and "brand", the Syrian branch of the Muslim Brotherhood is somehow independent of the Muslim Brotherhood proper.  This preposterous claim is countered by the simple fact that every public position the Syrian Muslim Brotherhood has taken has been in direct alignment with the public statements from Cairo.  As the Carnegie Middle East Center's article The Muslim Brotherhood in Syria demonstrates, Since the beginning of the revolution, the Brotherhood has maintained that foreign intervention is the only possible solution to the crisis in Syria. In October 2011, it also called on Turkey to intervene and establish protected humanitarian zones in Turkish territory."[5] When two entities bear the same name, have the same sponsors, and take the same positions, it is an exercise in willful ignorance to argue that they are somehow not the same entity or, as is more accurate, taking orders from the same masters. But who are these masters?

The Powers Behind the Muslim Brotherhood

In examining the utterly insidious role that the Muslim Brotherhood is playing in Syria, one must begin with an understanding of the historical relationship between the Muslim Brotherhood and Western imperialism.  The organization was founded by Hassan al-Banna in 1928 with the intention of reestablishing a purer form of Islam as had existed centuries before.  However, this was merely the religious veneer that was created to mask the political intentions of the organization.  As explained in the Mother Jones article entitled What is the Muslim Brotherhood and Will It Take Over Egypt?, the author explains that, "The Muslim Brotherhood served as a battering ram against nationalists and communists, despite the Brothers' Islam-based anti-imperialism, the group often ended up making common cause with the colonial British.  It functioned as an intelligence agency, infiltrating left-wing and nationalist groups."[6] This indisputable fact, that the Muslim Brotherhood functioned, even its early days, as a de facto arm of Western intelligence, is critical to understanding its development and current political power.

However, there are those who argue that, despite this "coincidence" of objectives and agendas, the Muslim Brotherhood could never be tied directly to the intelligence community.  However, as Robert Dreyfuss, author of the Mother Jones article clearly points out, there is ample evidence tying the leadership of the Muslim Brotherhood directly to the CIA:

By then [1954], the group's chief international organizer and best-known official was Said Ramadan, the son-in-law of Hassan al-Banna. Ramadan had come to the attention of both the CIA and MI-6, the British intelligence service. In researching my book ... I came across an unusual photograph that showed Ramadan with President Eisenhower in the Oval Office. By then, or soon after, Ramadan had likely been recruited as a CIA agent. Wall Street Journal reporter Ian Johnson has since documented the close ties between Ramadan and various Western intelligence services ... Johnson writes: ‘By the end of the decade, the CIA was overtly backing Ramadan.'"[7]

The fact that the central figure in the international organization was a known CIA agent corroborates the assertions made by countless analysts and investigators that the Brotherhood was used as a weapon against Nasser and, in fact, all Arab socialist leaders who at that time were part of a rising tide of Arab nationalism which sought, as its ultimate goal, independence from Western imperial domination.

In order to fully grasp just how the Brotherhood developed into the organization we know today, one must understand the relationship between it and the royal family of Saudi Arabia.  In fact, the Saudis have been the key financiers of the Brotherhood for decades for the same reasons that the United States and the Western powers needed them: opposition to Arab nationalism and the growing "insolence" of Shiite states.  Dreyfuss writes, "From its early days, the Brotherhood was financed generously by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which appreciated its ultra-conservative politics and its virulent hatred of Arab communists."[8] Essentially, as the United States began to exert its post-war might throughout the region, the Muslim Brotherhood was there to be a willing beneficiary and humble servant sowing the seeds of hatred between Sunni and Shia, espousing a hate-filled Salafist ideology that preached conflict and inescapable war between the branches of Islam.  Naturally, all to the benefit of Western powers who cared little for the ideology and more about the money and resources.

A Tool of the Western Powers Today?

It is often argued that, though the historical record unequivocally shows the Brotherhood as intimately connected to Western intelligence, somehow the organization has changed, that it has become a peaceful force for political progress in the Arab world.  As recent events in Egypt have shown, nothing could be further from the truth.  With the undemocratic attempted power grab by Egyptian President Morsi, the scaling back of civil liberties, the rights of women, and religious and ethnic minorities, the Muslim Brotherhood has shown itself to be little more than a reactionary political force parading itself as a form of "progress".

If one had any doubts as to the true intentions and motivations of the Muslim Brotherhood once in power in Egypt, one needed look no further than its position on the institutions of global finance capital, particularly the International Monetary Fund.  In one of the first decisions taken by Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood government, Cairo established that it would, in fact, welcome conditional loans from the IMF[9] to rescue itself from the prospect of a continued economic crisis.  However, as part of the conditions of the loan, Morsi's government would have to drastically reduce subsidies, regulations, and other "market restrictions" while increasing taxes on the middle class.  Essentially, this meant that the Brotherhood consented to the usual cocktail of austerity medicine that had been administered by the agents of finance capital so many times all over the world.  This, naturally, begged the question: Was this the end of the revolution? Indeed, many in the streets of Cairo are asking themselves this same question.  Or, to put it more accurately, they already know the answer.

In Egypt, as in Syria, the Muslim Brotherhood has made itself into an appendage of the Western imperialist ruling class.  It has dutifully served these interests over the course of decades, though the names, faces, and propaganda have changed over the years.  As we watch the tragic images coming from Syria or the tens of thousands in the streets of Cairo, we must question why it has taken so long for this perfidious organization to be exposed or even understood. The answer is, as usual, because it serves the interests of global capital to keep the rest of the world confused as to who the enemies of progress really are.  By revealing their true nature, the real forces of peace and progress around the world can reject the Muslim Brotherhood and the imperial system in all its overt and covert forms.
