Syria does require verbal help, and symbolic help in the UN, but more than anything else Syria requires these practical REAL things mentioned above.

"al-CIA-duh" through the violence of USA/NATO/Israel must NOT be installed in Syria.....if they win there, then USA/NATO/Israel will march on to Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Central Asia, where in the latter case the Americans and Europeans are already very busy.

Iran voices full support for Syrian government, nation

Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has reiterated the Islamic Republic’s full backing for the Syrian government and nation.

The Islamic Republic stresses its all-out support for the Syrian government and nation, Amir-Abdollahian said.

He also dismissed a recent Turkish daily report quoting Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu as saying that the support of Iran and Russia for Syria had waned, and restated Tehran’s full support for Damascus.

(In Russia's case there is considerable pressure by the Jews within the country to be less supportive of Syria, in line with Israeli orders. This has resulted in Russia wasting its energy in sending the Foreign Secretary Lavrov and the Intelligence Chief recently trying to mediate peace between the Syrian opposition groups based in Turkey, and the Syrian government. Naturally this is a wasteful, useless agenda given that the "15,000 terrorists" that Damascus is fighting are essentially mercenaries for hire by their USA/NATO/Israeli masters who don't want peace of any kind.......even if Assad prostrates on the floor in front of them and kisses his own backside...."al-CIA-duh" requires war to remove the popular, legitimate government in Damascus, and nothing else will do. The same with the Arab League role.

Also in addition, in line with Jewish pressure within Moscow, directed by Israel....some Russian leaders have been saying that in the current Syrian conflict Russia is neutral and does not support any side objectively. Again this is patently absurd given the facts on the ground.

(i) The Socialist state of Syria has been a steady friend of the Soviet Union, and later Russia since 1958...54 years. Syria represents the only remaining foothold Russia has directly in the Middle East in a recent era of full retreat......Commercially, culturally, politically, militarily.....or to put it in simpler terms for the Jews in Russia, each time "al-CIA-duh" wins in another Middle East country at the behest of the USA/NATO/Israel.....Russia and China lose, Commercially, culturally, politically, diplomatically and militarily.

(ii) The tragic events in Syria and the ascendancy of "al-CIA-duh" in Libya, Tunisia and Egypt are not isolated far away events, wholly, yawningly disconnected from Russia, but that after Syria it will be Iran's turn, and then Central Asia and then Russia itself with its 22% Muslims.

It would be supremely foolish for the Jewish agenda to be fostered in Moscow, where the country treats Syria as just another country that needs to be dealt with through a compromise deal.

We are aware that Kissinger a high emissary of the House of Rothschilds has visited Putin as have many Jews from Israel and elsewhere, just as Stalin the Jew was directed by the International Jews. But patriotic Russians must struggle for their country and do justice for Syria in their own interests. )

Turkey’s left-wing daily Radikal on Saturday quoted the Turkish foreign minister as claiming that both Iran and Russia have currently reduced the level of their support for the Syrian government compared to the previous year.

Amir-Abdollahian expressed confidence that the Syrian people would take major steps towards continuing the trend of reforms facilitated by President Bashar al-Assad as well as taking a stand against foreign intervention.

He said Iran regards its support for the Syrian people’s demands as the most appropriate solution to the current crisis in the key Middle Eastern country.

The senior diplomat emphasized that Iran holds those countries that incite instability and insecurity in Syria responsible for provoking the crisis in the country.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March last year. Many people, including security forces, have been killed in the turmoil.

While the West and the Syrian opposition accuse the government of the killings, Damascus blames ''outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups'' for the unrest, insisting that it is being orchestrated from abroad.

The Syrian president said on February 20 that “some foreign countries” are fueling the turmoil in Syria by supporting and funding “armed terrorist groups fighting against the government.”

In Turkey besides having silly Westernised names, rather than having traditional Turkish or Arabic names.......many Turkish children also have Jewish names as a symbol of their relationship with Israel.

There are no clear indications why Turkey is so close to Israel, but taking an educated guess one assumes that Jews, especially after 1908 came to dominate Turkey through the Jewish run Rothschild's funded Young Turks movement. Since then the Jews have dominated Turkey, without promoting their overt Jewishness, as Deonme Turks.

The other argument is that Turkey wants to be accepted into the European Union, so Turkey is pro-actively highlighting its NATO role vis a vi Syria to please Europe. Turkey is useful to Europe, and Europe needs Turkey so the argument goes.

It takes a lot of serious decision for one Third World country to destabilize another Third World country so overtly, for Israel, in the hope of installing "al-CIA-duh" into power. There are no direct benefits for Turkey in installing "al-CIA-duh" in Damascus as a neighbor of Turkey, economically, militarily, socially or politically. The Taliban government was problematic for mullah Iran, and mullah Iran is problematic for its neighbors, as is Islamists Somalia for its neighbors.

But Turkey faithfully serves Israel. This is shame.

Turkey and Israel united against Syria

Iranian FARS news agency reported this weekend that 49 Turkish intelligence officers have been captured by the Syrian army and that Turkey has been conducting intensive negotiations with Syria in order to secure the intelligence officers’ release. Seven of the captured Turkish officers have confessed that they were trained by Israel’s Mossad and given instructions to carry out bombings to undermine the country’s security. According to the Syrians, one of the Turkish officers said that Mossad also trains soldiers from the Free Syrian Army and that Mossad agents came to Jordan to train al-Qaeda officials to send to Syria to carry out attacks. On February 4, Nasser al-Ariqi, a Saudi Arabian spy was also arrested in Homs.

Like in case of Libya last year, Qatar is funding these radicals Salafi insurgents to inflict heavy casualties and many death among the Syrian security forces and civilians – in order to provide Turkey, Israel, NATO and the Arab League western puppets with a justification for humanitarian intervention – and install a pro-USrael and anti-Iran regime in Damascus.

Not long ago, Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, was hailed as “modern day Attaturk” by the western mainstream media. However, when in early 2008, he refused to submit to Ankara’s ‘solution’ to Syrian-Israel conflict – that’s to stop Syrian support for Hizbullah and Hamas without Israel retuning Golan Heights – Assad turned into a “cruel dictator”.

Anti-Muslim Zionazis Senators Joe Lieberman, John McCain and Lindsey Graham have openly called Obama to arm the Syrian Free Army (an equivalent to Libya’s National Transition Council). American drones are already operating over Syria. Deputy Russian Foreign Minister, Mikhail Bogdanov, confirmed on Friday the presence of British commandos and Qataris on the territory of Syria.

The Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 2006, was part of US-British plan to establish pro-USrael regimes in Damascus, Beirut and Tehran. It was abandoned upon the defeat of the 30,000-strong Jewish invading army by Hizbullah fighters.

The recent UN condemnations against Syria raise the question: Does the western media or the UN even ask that of whoever these people are that are telling wild stories about events in Syria? No, they don’t. Even the Qatari propaganda organ, Al-Jazeera, has finally admitted that the opposition has lied and exaggerated about casualties and protest numbers.

The FUKUSaxis has used as its agents the ex-Syrian Vice President Abdel-Halim Khaddam, Israel Lobby (AIPAC) member Farid al-Ghadry, (Jewish think tank) Brookings Institution Fellow Ammar Abdul Hamid, (Zionist Jew) Jeffrey Feltman from the US State Dept and multiple Syrian Muslim Brotherhood leaders to fund, incite, train, guide, organize and direct their agents within Syria to bring down the Assad government.

The latest scene was on the Syria-Turkey border where terrorists are being trained, armed and funded and then placed into Syria to perform their murderous deeds. Perhaps the western media and the UN should ask these clowns how many civilians they have killed in terrorist acts.

Turkey’s role in the anti-Syria campaign is obvious. Terrorist training camps have been set up in Turkey. Terrorist insurgents in Syria were trained and armed on Turkish territory to infiltrate into Syria as defectors from the Syrian army.

These armed marauders and invaders from Turkey, loosely calling themselves the “Syrian Free Army” claim to be “the only thing standing between the tanks and the civilians.” But a closer look easily removes this cloud of deception and lies.

The Syrian Free Army leaders have indicated that they will cut Syria’s ties with Iran and with the Palestinian and Lebanese resistance movements once they are in a position of “power” in Syria.

Turkey is in charge of providing terrorist groups with information on Syrian troop movements. Turkish ‘intelligence’ conducts radio-electronic reconnaissance on Syrian military communications as well.

China calls US critique on Syria "super arrogant"

China has hit out at comments by US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on its stance on Syria.

A foreign ministry spokesman called the comments unacceptable, and the official Communist Party newspaper described the criticism as "super arrogant".

Mrs Clinton on Friday called China and Russia's veto of a UN resolution on Syria "despicable".

The Chinese criticism came a day after Syria held a national referendum on a new constitution, amid violent unrest.

The referendum calls for a multi-party parliamentary election within three months. The opposition has dismissed Sunday's vote as a farce, as at least 30 more deaths were reported around the country.

'Patronising'

Ms Clinton made her remarks at the Friends of Syria conference in Tunisia, a meeting of diplomats boycotted by China and Russia that sought an end to the crisis.

The US Secretary of State said it was "quite distressing" to see two Security Council members using their vetoes "while people are being murdered".

"It is just despicable and I ask whose side are they on? They are clearly not on the side of the Syrian people."

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hong Lei, when asked for Beijing's response, said China "cannot accept that at all", AFP news agency reported.

Communist Party mouthpiece the People's Daily was more outspoken.

"The United States' motive in parading as a 'protector' of the Arab peoples is not difficult to imagine," it said in a commentary.

"The problem is, what moral basis does it have for this patronising and egotistical super-arrogance and self-confidence?"

"Even now, violence continues unabated in Iraq and ordinary people enjoy no security. This alone is enough for us to draw a huge question mark over the sincerity and efficacy of US policy," it added.

While China is traditionally resistant to interference in other countries' affairs, it has come under intense pressure on Syria.

Beijing believes that Syrian leader Bashar Al-Assad should be allowed to carry out reforms to try and end the bloodshed, says the BBC's Martin Patience in Beijing.

But observers say the power to end the violence lies with Beijing and Moscow, which have so far provided the diplomatic support that has shielded Syria.

On 4 February they blocked a resolution in the UN Security Council backing an Arab plan condemning the crackdown and calling on Mr Assad to step down.

China: US, Europe have hegemonic goals in Syria

The United States and Europe are "harboring hegemonistic ambitions" in Syria, China's state news agency said Saturday, a day after Beijing was condemned at an international conference held to find a way to halt the Syrian regime's nearly year-old suppression of an anti-government uprising.

At the Friends of Syria meeting in Tunisia, U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton blasted Russia and China as "despicable" for vetoing U.N. Security Council resolutions backing Arab League plans aimed at ending the conflict and condemning the crackdown by President Bashar Assad's government.

"They are clearly not on the side of the Syrian people," Clinton said.

The official Xinhua News Agency said in a commentary that China's position on Syria was balanced and that "most of the Arab countries have begun to realize that the United States and Europe are hiding a dagger behind a smile."

"In other words, while they appear to be acting out of humanitarian concern, they are actually harboring hegemonistic ambitions," it said.

Both China and Russia boycotted the Friends of Syria conference, which Xinhua said ended with a "broad consensus" on avoiding a militarization of the conflict in Syria.

The conference (organized by the USA in destabilized "al-CIA-duh" Tunisia) urged Assad to end the violence immediately and allow humanitarian aid into areas hit by his regime's crackdown. It also proposed tighter sanctions on the country and Assad's inner circle.

Calls and faxes to China's Foreign Ministry on Saturday asking for comment on Clinton's charges were not immediately answered.

Ministry spokesman Hong Lei said at several news conferences this week that China wanted more information on the goals and mechanisms of the conference before it would attend.

Xinhua quoted him as saying China was a friend of the Syrian people, and that "any action taken by the international community should help to cease tensions, boost political dialogues, resolve differences and maintain peace and stability in the Middle East."

The U.N. estimated in January that 5,400 people have died in the conflict. Hundreds more have died since, with activists saying the death toll is more than 7,300.

Assad's regime blames the violence on terrorists and armed thugs, not people who want to reform the system.

China sent a vice foreign minister to Syria last week for talks. It says it vetoed the U.N. Security Council vote on Syria because it was called before differences over the proposal were bridged.

Symbolism is good if it has real meaning. Symbolism is bad if it conveys the wrong meaning, and outcome.

As stated before the role of the Iranian navy is irrelevant, even if some try to find some use for it maneuvering in the Red sea, or chasing Somali pirates, or even sailing in the Atlantic.

Iran is a land power that requires credible land forces......Artesh, Pasdaran and airforce, air defense.

Iran presently does not have credible land forces.

In relation to Shia run Syria, the Russians have a naval base in the country, and have sent big warships to pay courtesy visits to the country, in support of the legitimate and popular Assad government. (I hope the Syrian government does not concede elections at this moment of crisis, this is tantamount to surrender to "al-CIA-duh")

Thus sending one lone warship with a naval support ship from Iran is worthless and does not provide REAL assistance to the embattled, legitimate and popular Assad government.

What Syria needs from Iran is at least 30,000 elite Pasdaran to fight side by side with the Syrian security forces, testing their tactics and equipment in addition.

This will boost the morale of the Syrian security forces when they know that they have reliable partners fighting with them, side by side.

If the USA can conduct terrorism in Iran from Pakistan and Afghanistan. If Israeli security are allowed into Iraq as they were during 2003--2012......from where terrorists have killed Iranians in Tehran. If Israel can use Azerbaijan to conduct terrorist ops against Iran in Tehran. If Western security from NATO/USA assists the "al-Qaeda" terrorists attack Syria from Iraq, Turkey and Lebanon...........the least the Iranian government do is stand side by side with the embattled, legitimate popular Syrian government and fight with them.

As it is Iran may be attacked after Syria, or then again Iran may be attacked before Syria........but there is no point holding back the Pasadarn, WAITING to be attacked directly, before they go into action.

The Pasdaran must be used now in SYRIA.....30,000 of them. Lets see if they are any good.

The rational and logic has been provided, but the decision rests with the mullah puppets installed in 1979 by the USA/UK.

Iranian MP Hossein Ebrahimi, one of the top ranking members of the nation’s National Security and Foreign Affairs Commission, today slammed calls by top US officials to begin smuggling arms into Syria.

“The presence of Iran and Russia’s flotillas along the Syrian coasts has a clear message against the United States’ possible adventurism,” Ebrahimi warned. US military commander Gen. Martin Dempsey has said any efforts to arm the rebels would be “premature.”

The US is far from the only nation liable to smuggle weapons into Syria, however, and the Arab League has already passed a resolution approving efforts to provide such aid to the various fighters seen as favorable to its faction. In addition, Turkey is openly backing the Free Syrian Army (FSA), while al-Qaeda in Iraq (AQI) is sending arms and fighters into the nation across the porous Iraqi border.

Iranian officials explained the arrival of two Iranian warships at Tartus, the same port that already houses Russian warships, as a sign that both nations are willing to make an effort to prevent arms smuggling.

It is unlikely the ships will have much practical impact, however, as Syria has enormous land borders that are difficult to guard and would be more favorable for such smuggling.

As various international governments have openly acknowledged, notably Russia and China, no good can come to Syria if "al-CIA-duh" comes to power in Damascus at the back of USA/NATO covert destabilization and terrorism against the legitimate and popular Assad government.

In Syria ethnicity cannot be used to divide and rule the country, as in Libya (dark skinned Libyans against light skinned Libyans....Eastern Libyan tribal groups verses Western Libyans), and so religion will be used.

In Syria there are Sunni Muslims, Alawite Muslims (branch of Shia Islam.....hence why Syria has close relations with Shia Iran, and Shia Hezbollah), Christians and Druze.

Baathist Socialism under the Assad's have suppressed any religious extremism......indeed in Homs and Hama in 1982, when Western funded Muslim Brotherhood members attempted an uprising they were brutally suppressed, resulting in the death of 20--30,000 people in those two cities. Assad in that sense has a long way to go, before he surpasses his fathers record.

The elite around Assad are Alawite and are a minority propagated by the colonial French originally.

Should Bashar al-Assad lose to "al-CIA-duh" backed by NATO/USA power, then it will be a catastrophe for the country in the manner of Iraq after the USA occupied the country, viciously, maliciously and criminally. Targeted groups for massacre would be:

(i) Ba-athist members of the ruling party, tens of thousands of men and women, educated, middle class and skilled. This is what happened in Iraq, under American control.

(ii) Syrian Christians, among the oldest Christian groups......in the manner of Iraq where the country's once proud one million Christian community has been decimated into forced exile all over the world.....whilst the country was under USA control. "al-CIA-duh" will ensure their cleansing from Syria, where they have lived for 2000 years.

The Assyrians/Syriacs are significant ethnic Christian minorities that mainly live in the north and northeast (al-Qamishli, al-Hasakah) and number around 877,000–1,200,000 in Syria.

Armenians number approximately 190,000. Syria holds the 7th largest Armenian population in the world.


(iii) The next targeted group will obviously be the Alawites, ALL 3.5 million of them. They will not be tolerated in the new "al-CIA-duh" Salafist Wahabi Sunni Muslim Brotherhood Syria. No compromise for them.

(iv) The next targeted group will be the secular middle class intellectuals, and technocratic class.....many of them still believe in Socialism, many do not. But the main thing is they do not believe in theocratic states. As with Mullah Iran, with its 5 million Iranian emigres, and the destroyed technocratic class of Iraq, the same will be repeated in Syria.....GUARANTEED.

(v) Then finally the Druze will be targeted, since they are not considered Muslims.

Druze number around 700,000, and concentrate mainly in the southern area of Jabal al-Druze.

This millenia's old cosmopolitan society will be uprooted and destroyed to satisfy the lust for empire of the Jew, through the fifth column front of "al-CIA-duh" and criminal NATO/USA forces.

A lot more good people will die in Syria if the "al-CIA-duh" come to power through the backing of NATO/USA.

Remember only 10,000 mostly Iraqi soldiers died when the USA invaded Iraq in 2003, BUT under 8 years of occupation by the USA with the arrival of "al-CIA-duh" in the scene, allegedly 1.5 million people have died, and 5 million have become internal and external exiles in Iraq.

Despite the hysteria of the BBC, very few people died in the Iranian uprising of 1978-79 backed by the USA/UK.....a few hundred at most. Since 1979, maybe 1 million Iranians have died through unnecessary wars, internal political wars, and the application of very harsh theocratic laws in the country. 5 million good educated skilled Iranians have elected to leave their country.

I suppose its all too obvious a point, but Bashar al-Assad must fight fight fight for his country, and for his people. ..........because what will come under "al-CIA-duh" will be catastrophic for the country. Better to lose 5,000---50,000 people battling "al-CIA-duh" and NATO-USA forces NOW, then losing 500,000--5,000,000 LATER under the control of "al-CIA-duh" with Israeli, American and NATO forces crawling ALL over the country in support of the "al-CIA-duh" regime (Libya).

"al-CIA-duh" in power in Damascus will be a perfect foil for repeated Israeli/Western raids into the country in the future,......... in the manner of Hezbollah Lebanon, Hamas Gaza, Taliban Afghanistan (occupied), and Mullah Iran.

The following advice is repeated again to the popular legitimate government of Bashar al-Assad:

1. Seal the border totally between Syria/Turkey.....Lebanon/Syria....Iraq/Syria.....mobilize national resources, and seek the assistance of Russia and Iran to this end.

2. Homs must be neutralized quickly before it becomes a recognized established center of destabilization.

3. Syria must join hands with Russia and Iran. Pasdaran Revolutionary Guards units must be urgently requested to the Homs front, and else where, along with Russian special forces(Spetznaz).

One Pasdaran member who cannot be named said, "Inshallah, this is indeed GODs work standing with Syria and the oldest friend of Iran for 32 years....which is NOW fighting NATO/USA terrorist forces.....RATHER then searching for Somali Pirates, and patrolling the Red Sea.....al-Hamdullilah!"

Certainly it is good that the Damascus government is willing to negotiate with the opposition based in Turkey, but this is part of the opposition which is not particularly focused on armed insurrection which kills their fellow countrymen in Syria.

The Arab League may have some use, as long as it does not give further silly advice about the VP taking over........on the whole the AL can do nothing for Syria.

When China joined hands with Russia on Saturday to veto an Arab-European draft UN resolution backing an Arab League plan to promote a regime change in Syria, its stance was consistent with its approach to international issues.

The draft resolution that sought to realize a regime change in Syria did not adequately reflect the state of affairs in this Middle East country.

In putting the resolution to the vote, Western powers hoped to further exert pressure on Syrian President Bashar al-Assad to step down, thus paving the way for the removal of a regime that is an obstacle to their policies in the Middle East.

By only exerting pressure on the Syrian government and explicitly trying to coerce its leader al-Assad to step down, the resolution sends the message to armed groups and opponents of his regime that they have the support of the international community. This will undoubtedly make the Syrian situation even more complicated and make it impossible for all parties to reach a conciliatory agreement that is in the best interests of the country and its people.

We’ve seen what happened in Libya. With the armed intervention by some major Western powers, the Libyan regime was overthrown. But instead of the democracy and freedom they were promised, Libyan people cannot even live in peace as the country is in the danger of falling into a sectarian civil war.

It is not a question of whether Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad should step down or not. It is whether the ever-worsening crisis in the country will be brought to an end in such a way that the country will not be plunged into a sectarian civil war and its people plunged into even greater misery.

China maintains that any attempt by the international community to help Syria solve its crisis must respect the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country.

A messy civil war in Syria will not be conducive to peace in the Middle East.

Russia’s stance that conditions should not be imposed on dialogue, and that any efforts should influence not just the government but also the armed groups is reasonable. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Mikhail Fradkov, the director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, will travel to Syria on Feb 7 to meet with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The draft resolution was presented too hastily and the international community should give the Russian diplomatic endeavor time to soften the positions of all the parties in Syria so that an agreement can be reached that is for the good of the country.

The Chinese government believes that, in line with the UN Charter, political consultations are the best way to help a nation solve any political crisis.

Syria needs to seal its borders first as priority number one, not deal with the "al-CIA-duh"problem once they come into the country.

No doubt the Syrian regime in Damascus feel secure with more arms purchases from Russia.

Other strategies are more relevant and important:

(i) The "al-CIA-duh" Terrorists must be met and stopped at the border. The Turkish/Syrian border; The Lebanon/Syrian border; The Iraq/Syrian border......where all borders must be totally sealed. Billions of $ must be spent on border security, and the advise and help of Russia, Iran.

(ii) Greater focus must be placed on counter terrorism, which in addition requires heavy training with Iran's Revolutionary Guard and of course Russia......but not necessarily more heavy military equipment.

(iii) Requesting Russia and Iran to place more of their security personnel in Syria, working with the Syrian security services.

The Arab Leagues advice about Bashar Assad handing over power to his Deputy is utter nonsense, and will be a disaster, since such advice and such an action will give defacto victory to "al-CIA-duh" in Syria.......they will merely fight harder against the regime.

Mullah Iran's sporadic meaningless advice to the Assad regime, requiring Assad to be more open and giving greater concessions to the terrorists is again nonsense. Nothing of constructive value comes from mullah Iran.

Russia will not stop selling arms sales to Syria

Russia said Thursday it will keep selling arms to longtime ally Syria, despite mounting international condemnation over the Syrian regime's bloody crackdown on a 10-month-old uprising.

Russia's Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov said his country is not violating any international obligations by selling weapons to Damascus.

"As of today there are no restrictions on our delivery of weapons," he told journalists in Russia, according to the country's state news agencies. "We must fulfill our obligations and this is what we are doing."

Moscow has been one of Syria's most powerful allies — along with Iran — as regime forces try to crush the revolt against President Bashar Assad. The U.N. estimates that more than 5,400 people have been killed in the government crackdown.

Moscow's stance is motivated in part by its strategic and defense ties, including weapons sales, with Syria. But Russia also rejects what it sees as a world order dominated by the U.S. Last month, Russia reportedly signed a $550 million deal to sell combat jets to Syria.

U.N. ambassadors this week are trying to overcome Russia's opposition to a draft resolution at the Security Council aimed at stopping the bloodshed. Moscow said it would veto the original version because it believes it would open the way for eventual international military action.

The latest draft, obtained Thursday by The Associated Press, still expresses support for an Arab League peace plan for Syria that calls for Assad to delegate his authority to his deputy.

In an apparent effort to overcome Russian objections, the new version no longer includes the explicit reference to the president delegating his powers. It also removes the calls for a new national unity government, and for transparent, free elections.

Wiam Wahhab, a pro-Syrian Lebanese politician, met Tuesday with Assad in Damascus.

"I found him relaxed and sure. He is confident in the Russian position," Wahhab told the Lebanese newspaper Al-Akhbar in an interview published Thursday.

Also Thursday, Syrian security forces fanned out in Hama as protesters splashed red paint symbolizing blood in the streets to mark the 30th anniversary of a notorious massacre carried out by Hafez Assad, Bashar's father and predecessor.

The Hama massacre of 1982, which leveled entire neighborhoods and killed thousands of people, has become a rallying cry for the Syrian uprising that began nearly 11 months ago in the hopes of ending four decades of the Assad family rule.

Hundreds of troops and security forces were in Hama on Thursday, closing off public squares and setting up checkpoints.

"There is a checkpoint every 100 meters," said Ahmed Jimejmi, a Hama resident.

Activists painted two streets in Hama red to symbolize blood, and threw red dye in the waters of Hama's famous and ancient water wheels.

Graffiti on the walls read: "Hafez died, and Hama didn't. Bashar will die, and Hama won't."

Hafez Assad ordered the scorched-earth assault on Hama 30 years ago to put down an uprising against his rule. Amnesty International has claimed that 10,000-25,000 people were killed, though conflicting figures exist and the Syrian government has never made an official estimate.

For the next two decades, until his death, Hafez Assad ruled uncontested, and the massacre was seared into the minds of Syrians.

Libya to arm rebels in Syria

Syrian rebels have held secret talks with Libya’s new authorities, aiming to secure weapons and money for their insurgency against Bashar al-Assad’s regime, it has been revealed.

At the meeting, which was held in Istanbul and included Turkish officials, the Syrians requested assistance from the Libyan representatives and were offered arms and, potentially, volunteers.

”There is something being planned to send weapons and even Libyan fighters to Syria,” a Libyan source said, on condition of anonymity. ”There is a military intervention on the way. Within a few weeks you will see.”

It has also emerged that preliminary discussions about arms supplies took place when members of the Syrian National Council – the country’s main opposition movement – visited Libya earlier this month.

”The Libyans are offering money, training and weapons to the Syrian National Council,” said Wisam Taris, a human rights campaigner with links to the council.

The disclosure came as the Syrian military said rebels had raided an air force base outside the city of Homs and killed six pilots.

Rebel attacks have become daily occurrences since the onset of the insurrection. The conflict has claimed at least 3500 lives, mainly as part of a crackdown on protests by the government.

Syria’s regime has continued to defy pressure from the Arab League, ignoring Friday’s deadline to accept the deployment of 500 human rights observers, raising the possibility that economic sanctions might be agreed upon this weekend.

Last month, Libya’s interim government became the first in the world to recognise Syria’s opposition movement as the country’s ”legitimate authority”.

Activists said large shipments of weapons had not yet been sent, mainly because of logistical difficulties. But proposals for a ”buffer zone” inside Syria, monitored by the Arab League, or the likely emergence of an area inside the country controlled entirely by rebels could solve this problem.

”The [Libyan] council’s offer is serious,” Mr Taris said. Turkey, which has denounced Mr Assad’s regime, is already sheltering about 7000 Syrian opposition activists, including the leader of the Free Syrian Army, the nascent rebel movement, in a ”safe zone” along Turkey’s border with Syria.

Sources in the Libyan town of Misrata suggested that some weapons might already have been sent. Some smugglers were caught selling small arms to Syrian buyers in Misrata, said a man who trafficked guns to Libya’s rebels during the country’s civil war.

However, Libyan officials denied some of the claims. ”This is what you hear in the street,” said the leader of the Misrata military council, Ramadan Zarmoh. ”Officially there is none of this. I would never send any fighters to fight outside the country.”

Ministers from the Arab League are expected to meet in Cairo this weekend to consider sanctions against Syria.

The British Prime Minister, David Cameron, and his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim al-Thani, pledged on Friday to keep up talks with Syrian opposition groups in an attempt to support a transition to a stable democracy.

Meanwhile, a United Nations human rights panel has called on Syria to respond to reports its security forces had tortured children in their crackdown on anti-government protesters.

The Committee against Torture said in Geneva that it had received ”numerous, consistent and substantiated reports” of widespread abuse occurring since the start of the uprising against Mr Assad’s government eight months ago.

”Of particular concern are reports referring to children who have suffered torture and mutilation while detained,” said the panel’s chairman, Claudio Grossman.

He also cited reports of ”extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions; arbitrary detention by police forces and the military; and enforced and involuntary disappearances.”

The committee normally reviews each country’s record every four years, but took the unusual step on Friday of issuing a spontaneous demand to the Syrian government to explain its actions.

Since an attack on Syria using "al-Qaeda" is ultimately directed against Iran militarily, then both Russia and Iran must defend Syria militarily with greater military/security cooperation with the country.

It is logical for Syria to back anti-Turkish insurgency groups as a response to the Turkish assistance of "al-Qaeda' terrorists from sovereign Turkish territory.

Greater propaganda should be highlighted of the fact that Turkey is a NATO member, is a country dominated by Doenme Jews and that the Turkish State maintains close relations with Israel.

Destabilization efforts should be considered against Turkey, using societal difficulties within the country by Russia and Syria, but not Iran.

Efforts should be made to prevent Doenme Erdogan from winning the next election along with Davidloo. Alternative parties must be funded such as Erbakan's which do not favour following Israel's orders.

Turkey can chase Europe for ever, but in pursuing that Sisyphean process it should not turnaround and harm otherwise peaceful friendly neighbors, acting as a whore of the International Jewish bankers.

The Turkish State naturally gains nothing economically, socially, politically or security wise by having an "al-Qaeda" regime in charge in Syria, Libya, Egypt or Tunisia......such occurrences only excite a few flaky nutjobs in Western security in Washington, Herzilya and Londonistan.

International Institute for Strategic Studies: Syria's Opposition Is Armed

The "Free Syria Army" is literally an army of militant extremists, many drawn not from Syria's military ranks, but from the Muslim Brotherhood, carrying heavy weapons back and forth over the Turkish and Lebanese borders, funded, supported, and armed by the United States, Israel, and Turkey. The latest evidence confirming this comes in the form of a report out of the International Institute for Strategic Studies where Senior Fellow for Regional Security at IISS-Middle East Emile Hokayem openly admits Syria's opposition is armed and prepared to drag Syria's violence into even bloodier depths.

This report comes in sharp contrast to the propaganda fed via the corporate-media and the West's foreign ministers on a daily basis, where the violence is portrayed as one-sided, with Syria's President Bashar al-Assad "gunning down" throngs of peaceful, placard waving protesters. Just as in Libya where these so-called "peaceful protesters" turned out to be hordes of genocidal racist Al Qaeda mercenaries, led by big-oil representatives, fighting their cause upon a verified pack of lies, so too is Syria's "pro-democracy" movement which is slowly being revealed as yet another militant brand of extremists long cultivated by Anglo-American intelligence agencies, whose leadership is harbored in London and Washington and their foot soldiers supplied a steady stream of covert military support and overt rhetorical support throughout the compromised corporate media.

The unrest in Syria from the beginning was entirely backed by Western corporate-financier interests and part of a long-planned agenda for region-wide regime change. Syria has been slated for regime change since as early as 1991. In 2002, then US Under Secretary of State John Bolton added Syria to the growing "Axis of Evil." It would be later revealed that Bolton's threats against Syria manifested themselves as covert funding and support for opposition groups inside of Syria spanning both the Bush and Obama administrations.

In an April 2011 CNN article, acting State Department spokesman Mark Toner stated, "We're not working to undermine that [Syrian] government. What we are trying to do in Syria, through our civil society support, is to build the kind of democratic institutions, frankly, that we're trying to do in countries around the globe. What's different, I think, in this situation is that the Syrian government perceives this kind of assistance as a threat to its control over the Syrian people."

Toner's remarks came after the Washington Post released cables indicating the US has been funding Syrian opposition groups since at least 2005 and continued until today.

In an April AFP report, Michael Posner, the assistant US Secretary of State for Human Rights and Labor, stated that the "US government has budgeted $50 million in the last two years to develop new technologies to help activists protect themselves from arrest and prosecution by authoritarian governments." The report went on to explain that the US "organized training sessions for 5,000 activists in different parts of the world. A session held in the Middle East about six weeks ago gathered activists from Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Lebanon who returned to their countries with the aim of training their colleagues there." Posner would add, "They went back and there's a ripple effect." That ripple effect of course is the "Arab Spring," and in Syria's case, the impetus for the current unrest threatening to unhinge the nation and invite in foreign intervention.

With planted "speculation" running through the corporate media that a recent explosion, amongst several other "incidents" in Iran, were the work of Western covert operations, and the Jerusalem Post all but admitting the entire Western-backed destabilization in Syria aims not at ushering in "democracy" or upholding "human rights," but to weaken Iran by proxy, it is clear that everything within Wall Street and London's power is being done to provoke Iran. Iran has downplayed the recent explosion at their military base as an accident and has thus far maintained a persistent patience in the face of criminal provocations and overt acts of war by an alarmingly and increasingly depraved West.

It is quite clear that the stratagems spelled out in the corporate-funded Brookings Institute report "Which Path to Persia?" have been read and understood by both sides and that Iran realizes that any act of retaliation not expertly played, only gives the West what it has stated it wants - an excuse to go to war with the Islamic Republic. Should the public in Syria, Iran, and throughout the West also read "Which Path to Persia?" and realize that the only threat Iran and its allies pose to the West is toward the extraterritorial ambitions of Wall Street and London, perhaps a bloody, entirely unnecessary war can be avoided, and the first steps taken toward dismantling the parasitic corporate-financier oligarchy that has misled the world for the past several decades.

Syria: Desperate Lies for a Collapsing USA Gambit

TIME claims to "sneak" into Syria, still bases entire report on "witness" accounts.

Claiming to be written in Hama, Syria, TIME's latest article "Exclusive: A Visit to Hama, the Rebel Syrian City that Refused to Die" attempts to reestablish the US State Department's sagging narrative regarding unrest they themselves funded, organized and are now openly promoting, this time, (allegedly) directly on the ground at the epicenter of the unrest. TIME's report runs immediately into convenient obstacles preventing them from accessing anything remotely resembling evidence and instead, defers once again to eye witness accounts by admitted members of the opposition.

TIME first describes two of Hama's hospitals guarded by the Syrian army which our intrepid reporter is unable to approach. Acknowledging the impossibility of verifying opposition claims, TIME decides to air them anyway stating, "by some accounts, security forces were killing wounded protesters in the hospitals," echoing the now verified lies used to initiate war with Libya. TIME continues making a mockery out of journalism by citing "residents" who "speak of being unable to reach bodies in the streets, of snipers targeting people in their homes, of house-to-house searches, mass indiscriminate detentions, looting and even rape." Of course, despite TIME being on the ground in Hama, they are unable to provide a single shred of evidence to confirm any of these claims.

TIME continues with a tale of an anonymous man who brings them a bag of spent anti-aircraft shells which TIME solemnly reminds readers are "not supposed to be used on civilians," despite providing no proof that they were. TIME describes residents as supposedly not angry with Syrian troops despite just claiming they pillaged and raped their city, but are instead resolved to only bring down Syria's president, Bashar al-Assad.

In fact everything in TIME's "hard hitting" "on the ground" report is based only on witness accounts, the same dubious unverified reports that preceded the current ongoing NATO war crimes in Libya, and the same unverified reports that have been filtering out of London-based Syrian "human rights groups" for months now. The only "evidence" TIME seems to have provided in their daring "clandestine" reporting is graffiti allegedly left on Hama's streets which TIME claims is "deeply offensive" to Hama's "religiously conservative majority."

The Rest of the Story

What is absent in TIME's reporting, and what is now beginning to appear even in the corporate media are reports that these "pro-democracy" protesters are in fact armed militants, the resurgence of the Muslim Brotherhood (known to be "religiously conservative") who in the late 1970's and early 1980's waged armed insurrection against the Syrian government. A recent CBS article, "No revolution in Syria's 2 biggest cities, yet" notes what genuine geopolitical analysts have been saying for months now, that Damascus and Aleppo are devoid of anti-government "protests" and that the majority of the unrest is split along ethnic, not political lines.

Video: Part 2 of 6 of Dr. Webster Tarpley's World Crisis Radio from June 18, 2011 regarding Syria spells out facts now just beginning to be reported by the corporate mainstream media. Dr. Tarpley specifically mentions armed militants and a lack of protests in both Damascus and Aleppo.

The CBS report also notes that over half of Syria's population resides within these two cities, meaning that even if 100% of the outlying towns were behind anti-government opposition forces (which they aren't), they would still constitute but a minority. In reality, just as the Syrian government has asserted all along, the unrest is the result of a handful of armed thugs working within mobs of US-funded and organized protesters who have been committing the same sort of looting and arson the UK is now threatening to put down with deadly force. A Sky News report recently stated that the above mentioned Syrian army assault in Hama "prompted opposition gunmen to fire machine guns and set police stations on fire." Quite clearly tales of "pro-democracy protesters" bearing "olive branches" were as fantastical in reality as they read-out in print.

TIME Conveniently Omits US Role in Unrest

TIME also conveniently forgot to mention that the ochlocratic armed mobs it was covering in Hama are on record the recipients of millions of dollars from the US State Department to train, organize, and equip them to rise up against the Syrian government. An April 2011 AFP report cited the US State Department who admitted to budgeting 50 million dollars over the course of two years to develop and equip activists with technology to use against their governments. The report also mentioned that over 5,000 activists from around the world, incluidng from Tunisia, Egypt, Lebanon, and of course Syria were trained by the US State Department to then return home and topple their respective governments.

This State Department statement came after a Washington Post article claimed the US was secretly backing Syrian opposition groups since at least 2005. The State Department would also claim this funding was not meant to foster the US's long expressed goals of regime change throughout the region, but rather to "build the kind of democratic institutions," the US is trying to build "in countries around the globe." The US State Department doesn't seem fazed at all by the implications of one nation imposing its political order unto another and how it without a doubt constitutes an act of war. And while some might claim the United States' model of liberal democracy is a superior one that should be imposed upon others, many at Nuremberg made the same tenuous argument in favor of the Third Reich and were hung from the gallows just the same.

Like the BBC, Andrew Marshall of Reuters, and the recently exposed US-funded propaganda front Prachatai, TIME's disingenuous hackery in complete defiance of both reality and an increasingly awakening public seals the fate and mortally wounds the legitimacy of this longtime servant of the global corporate-financier elite.

The sole purpose of TIME's recent Syrian article was not to inform the public, but rather misinform them as well as mislead them into supporting Washington and London's ambitions for regime change in Syria. With that in mind, let's stop promoting TIME's self-contrived sense of legitimacy, and instead expose them as yet another duplicitous rag insulting our intelligence and farcically manipulating reality on a daily basis.

Syria is interesting.........and is referred to as "Al-Shams" by the locals which in its proper geographical constitution includes Lebanon, Israel/Palestine, Jordan and Syria, until historical fate and colonial geographical cartographers from Europe decided otherwise. So what must our mild, cosmopolitan, slightly confused Syrian leader with his dry sense of humor to do?

He should do what the Mubaraks's wisely did, pack their suitcases and head to London.......the Assad's will be welcomed and safe there.

Of course the downside is that the Assad's will have to watch all the pantomime and drama that befell Iran after 1979 being repeated in Syria, and the total destruction of the country there after.

Israel of course naturally won't be able to live with a Sunni fundamentalists neighbor, so the USA sugar daddy will have to invade and occupy the country along with the other USA poodles. But at least he will be safe in London.














































































It is of course a hard choice choosing between the cosmopolitan Bashar al-Assad, who spent time in London and his gorgeous wife....................and the "al-CIA-duh" violent terrorist insurrection network in Syria backed by Israel and Saudi Wahabism, which is attempting to overthrow Bashar's Socialist government in favor of a Sunni Islamic Emirate.

Evidence of U.S. Effort to Arm Syrian Opposition Emerges

On August 6, a Lebanese newspaper, The Daily Star, reported three men were charged by Lebanon’s Military Prosecutor General with smuggling weapons into Syria. “Wasim Tamim, Samir Tamim, and Ahmad Qabri were charged with allegedly smuggling weapons and drugs outside the country through one of its ports,” the newspaper reported.

The brief article, which appeared on page two of the newspaper’s print edition, did not go into any further detail.

Lebanon’s Al-Akhbar newspaper, however, did report details neglected by The Daily Star, which has business ties with the International Herald Tribune and The New York Times.

According to Sahand Avedis, writing for World Socialist Web Site, who cites Al-Akhbar,

Lebanese Army investigators said they uncovered a connection between the smugglers and the political entourage of former Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Hariri, who is backed by the United States and Saudi Arabia.

The cache of weapons consisted of 1,000 assault rifles that were reportedly destined for the city of Baniyas in Syria. “Baniyas is one of a number of cities hit by protests against the regime of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in the months since the overthrow of Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak. The Syrian regime has mobilized the Syrian army against these protests, which have been concentrated in majority-Sunni regions of the country, claiming it was trying to repress violent opposition by armed guerrilla movements,” writes Avedis.

Intelligence tracked the group to the March 14 alliance, a Sunni-Druze-Christian coalition that takes its name from the date of the Cedar Revolution, when Lebanese took to the streets in Beirut in overwhelming numbers to demand the end of Syrian occupation. The group is supported by the U.S., Israel, and the Saudis.

“The recently foiled operation is still under investigation, and there has been highly significant information gleaned from those involved who are affiliated with a prominent tendency in the March 14 alliance. This is not the only operation that they have carried out,” reported the al-Safir newspaper on August 8.

Avedis writes that Hezbollah’s Al-Manar television network reports the smugglers “confessed to running over 30 arms-smuggling operations from Marina to Baniyas with the assistance of Mohammad Kabbara, a member of the Al-Mustaqbal parliamentary bloc tied to Saudi intelligence. Al-Manar stated that the center of operations was Kabbara’s farm in northern Lebanon, adding that this was also a transit point for Islamist (Salafi) fighters traveling to the Syrian city of Homs.”

Homs, Idlib, and the southern province of Daraa have witnessed some of the largest demonstrations in recent days against the Syrian government.

Syrian state television has reported that “armed thugs” have attacked law enforcement in the country. In Hama earlier this month, according to the Ahlul Bayt News Agency, armed groups used live ammo and Molotov cocktails against police departments. In June, the AP reported that 120 Syrian security forces were killed by armed men who also torched government buildings. The AP dismissed the report as Syrian government propaganda.

Armed gangs attack Syrian military.

The corporate media has downplayed the violence against the government while sensationalizing the death of protesters.

Former French General Jean Rannou has outlined a NATO attack on Syria to depose Bashar al-Assad’s regime, a move that reveals that covert efforts against the country are not working.

On Friday, Secretary of State Clinton urged nations to “get on the right side of history” and condemn the regime. She demanded the world to stop buying oil from Syria, in effect calling for an embargo on the Middle Eastern county.

Clinton’s remarks coincided with news that the European Union will extend sanctions against Syria.

On Wednesday the United Nations Security Council warned it would take action to stop the Syrian government from killing its citizens. The effort was spearheaded by Susan Rice, the U.S. envoy to the United Nations.
