I'm surprised Pakistan, Iran and Italy are not on the list of countries. Possibly these countries did not ask for the medicine.

With India, it is MEDICINE, HEALTHCARE (Which took a dive under British rule wherein life expectancy were amongst the lowest in the world, below Papua New Guinea by 1947-subtle anecdotal analysis of how bad the British Empire truly was).
and Mathematics...and things that have a lot of maths in the subject.(Accounting, IT)
Some of the worlds earliest hospitals were in India.
Surgery was pioneered in India.
It doesn't have to be all doom and gloom.
