The Arab conquest of Persia, disconnected the country from China significantly, as the Tang dynasty provided refuge to the last Sassanid emperor. Further, Persia under the Safavids looked to the West for greater cooperation and help to counter the power of the Ottoman empire with which Persia engaged in many wars from the sixteenth century. This was done at the expense of maintaining closer friendship with Persia's traditional neighbors China and India.
Of the 5 million Iranian emigre population, most head to the West....where psychologically many Iranians in and outside the country are still emotionally connected. But with time, and the REALITY of diplomatic relations will change such thinking.
Now out of necessity and the slight of history, Persia is once again moving closer to her traditional neighbors in the East, through trade and in many other levels.
Thus India's continued trade with mullah Iran is not an incalculable teenager level forefinger at Washington, that is not the basic nature of timid India, but rather a need not be left out and behind by latent warming of relations between Persia and Cin......a relationship that dates back to the Parthian Empire 2200 years ago

Thus the USA along with the UK more recently, no longer has any diplomatic relations with Iran since 1979....or 33 years, a record for "American diplomacy" with a major historical nation. The USA has allowed itself to be led by the "needs" of the day of little Israel.
The USA/UK removed the Shah, a secret Jew, from power and installed the mullahs in the hope that this would aid Israel in the long run, and its geo-strategic designs. The USA/UK/NATO are doing likewise in Libya, Tunisia, Egypt and Syria.
A replay of the Crusades from the medieval era, except that the forces of "Saladin" and "Baybars" are controlled puppets of the CIA. A worthless Shakespearean melodramatic play run by Western pygmies, using vulnerable naive impressionable deviants in Middle East societies (Which modern society does not have a percentage of these).
The puppet mullahs have thus repeatedly sought recognition from the USA, but this has been spurned by the Zionist zealots who direct USA foreign policy.

Iran, China seek to increase trade ties to $50bn in 2012: Iran VP

The Islamic Republic of Iran and China seek to increase the value of their bilateral trade to more than 50 billion dollars in 2012, says an Iranian vice president.
Mohammad Javad Mohammadizadeh made the announcement after a meeting with Chinese Deputy Prime Minister Li Keqiang on Sunday, IRNA reported.
Given the historical ties between the two countries and the determination of both countries to further develop relations, the two sides expressed hope that the volume of bilateral trade transactions would surpass 50 billion dollars in 2012, he said.
The Iranian official described the talks with the Chinese side as fruitful and noted that Tehran and Beijing share the same views regarding various international issues.
During the meeting, the two sides also reiterated their countries’ support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries, the peaceful resolution of international issues, and the avoidance of coercion.
The Iranian vice president is in China to attend the Boao Forum on the southern Chinese island of Hainan.
The annual Boao Forum for Asia is a non-profit organization that hosts forums for leaders from Asia and other continents to share views on regional and international issues.
Formally inaugurated in February 2001, the forum is committed to promoting regional economic integration and bringing Asian countries closer to their development goals.
