When I was young I use to believe in Brother Grimm fairy tales. They were a wonderful form of escapism for a young imaginative mind that wanted to believe anything and everything, and which didn't need to filter through any ideas first through the prism of reason, logic and hard facts.
You just had to let it go, and let your imagination, AND somebody else's narrative fly.
But now alas at an older age one has become cynical, and the Brother Grimm fairy tales seem just unacceptable and plain silly.

Perhaps they don't want total tranquility, or peace.
The Taliban vs Jew narco-trade enforcers is a staged TV wrestling match, with the ISI fixing the Taliban side of things.
To what end? To cover the gradual expansion of the coalition forces from being a stabilising/occupation force, SLOWLY metamorphising into a strike force in the future.
The stage managed fake fights and incidents with the 'Taliban' in Afghanistan, provides the cover and excuse to expand this force for the future, and any future action against Afghanistan's neighbors.
And in addition, with the Pakistani security forces being trained by the very same, this ensures that the real fighting is done between the Pakistanis and Taliban, eventually weakening the Pakistani forces. As previous blogs have indicated it is the Pakistanis who have been taking the heaviest blows against the Taliban........
The Pakistani security forces have always shown supreme courage in fighting their own people, but unlike the Uzbek's recently the Pakistani security forces don't or can't find the courage to say no to foreign bases on their country.

Pakistan needs to move 100,000 troops to the Frontier border area to enforce and underline its sovereignty in big battalions, backed by 200,000 troops in the Plains of the NWFP. In addition they need to station 150,000 troops in Baluchistan. 300,000 in central Pakistan, and 150,000 on the Indian border.
Sign an FTA with India with effect from now, and legalise the LOC.
A South Asian security pact needs to be created, which has real, rather than superficial punch.
Defence expenditure needs to be increased.
One year given to the civilian government to get their act together.
