The Aryan's were in Central ASIA for many Millenia, with its hot arid deserts, dry grassland steppe and extreme -20 + snowy winters.
In the hot deserts of Central ASIA, you can get fat, fleshy blond cat-eyed Aryan's, but more than likely also a lot of tanned lean people.
About 2,000 BC they moved South into Afghanistan from Central Asia, in search of more fertile lands (not conquest) which they called Ariana, the old name of Afghanistan.

Initially, when the Aryan's arrived in Northern India there were clear Aryan/indigenous racial demarcation, BUT unlike Iran since the majority of South Asian's were NOT racially Aryan......the meaning of ARYAN became a more religious-philosophical concept through the Sanscrit language and Vedic religious teaching, where the word and name Aryan often appears regularly. In Hindu Vedic scriptures the word Aryan can be a NOUN but just as easily is an ADJECTIVE, which does not describe race, and certainly not racism and hatred of the other, but the embodiment of an ideal man with a higher consciousness...to be NOBLE, to be RIGHTEOUS, to be GOOD. This sentiment is not UNIQUE in Vedic teaching but also exists in Zorosastrism, Buddhism and Christianity.
