Iran-China development and trade

.

Iran will soon, not soon enough, join the SCO.

Iran has conducted naval exercises with China, off the coast of Iran. Maybe the Artesh will conduct military exercises with the PLA soon.

Iran's reverse engineering of Russian and other arms is backed by Chinese know how and technology transfer.

China has pledged direct investment of $52 billion into Iran's industry, and especially the ailing oil industry over the next few years.

And the worthless nuclear negotiations go on and on.

Iran will have to think about ceasing the IAEA inspections which have been going on for 12 years.

The IAEA is a spy agency front of the USA/Israel. Under the cover of nuclear inspections for the PAST 12 YEARS.....they are gathering information about Iran's sensitive security sites, so that they can be attacked more precisely. The IAEA never investigated Israel's real nuclear arsenal or Apartheid South Africa's nuclear weapons program developed with the aid of Israel, or for that matter Turkey's, Saudi Arabia, Algeria's nuclear surge programs.

Bizarrely Iran is fighting alongside the USA against ISIS in Iraq and Syria, even though ISIS is a creation of the USA/Israel. Such confusing/conflicting policies from Iran will have to be clarified.

The Shia Iraqi government which is purportedly pro-Iranian must tell ALL western forces to fuck off from Iraqi territory. It is just banal that the Westerners are using Iraq to re-supply ISIS, whilst Iranian forces are simultaneously fighting ISIS every where.

China is Iran's biggest trading partner.

Persia China relations go back 3000 years, only interrupted by the Arab invasion of Persia in 638 AD.

Persian rugs, horses and dancing girls (hot item in China) went in one direction and Chinese silk, porcelain and other goods went the other way.

From Wikipedia:

Sino-Persian relations (Chinese: 中伊关系, Pinyin: Zhōng-Yī guānxì, Persian: روابط ایران و چین), or Sino-Iranian relations, refers to the historic diplomatic, cultural and economic relations between the cultures of China proper and Greater Iran, dating back to ancient times. The ancient Parthians and Sassanid empires (occupying much of present Iran and Central Asia) had various contacts with the Han and Tang Dynasty empires occupying what is now the People's Republic of China. The two lands were further connected via the Silk Road

Iran, China to raise trade to $60b in one year

Assadollah Asgarowladi, director of Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce

By Presstv.com

Iran and China hope to bring the level of their trade exchanges to $60 billion from the current $52 billion in a year or so, the head of Iran-China Joint Chamber of Commerce says.
.
“We are determined to raise the volume of our trade with China to $60 billion at the start of the Sixth [Five-Year Economic] Development Plan” starting in March 2016, Assadollah Asgarowladi was quoted in media as saying.
.
To that end, he said, the private sector shoulders a heavy responsibility. He added that Iran’s private sector is required to make huge efforts for joint venture projects with China.
.
Asgarowladi said China has opened $4 billion in credit line over the past three months for financing projects in Iran. He said the figure is to reach $5 billion this month.
.
Last week, the director of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran said Iran and China plan to increase their annual trade to $200 billion in 10 years.(Doable in 5 years)
.
Valiollah Afkhami-Rad said establishment of joint venture companies can contribute to the promotion of trade ties between Iran and China.
.
According to Afkhami-Rad, Chinese can invest in various sectors in Iran, including steel, mines, transportation, agriculture, oil, gas and the petrochemical industry.
.
A 100-member delegation of Chinese investors recently travelled to Iran to further explore investment opportunities in the country.
.
China, as Iran’s biggest economic partner, is of great importance in Iran’s foreign policy. The Islamic Republic is currently China's third largest supplier of crude, providing roughly 12 percent of China’s annual oil consumption.

China finances Iran petchems

China has already started funding a number of petrochemical projects in Iran.
.
Abbas She’ri-Moqaddam, the managing director of Iran’s National Petrochemical Company (NPC), said recently that China will provide funds for Iran’s Sabalan, Lordegan, Bushehr and Masjed Soleyman petrochemical projects.
.
She’ri-Moqaddam did not provide any figures on the amount of funds that China will provide. However, he had told the media in September 2014 that Iran has asked China to provide $13 billion for those projects.
.
China reportedly owes Iran over $20 billion in outstanding oil payments. The cash has been frozen in overseas banks after the US-led sanctions made it difficult for Beijing to transfer money to Tehran.
.
Iran says it needs $31 billion to inaugurate 60 half-complete petrochemical projects. It says once the projects come on stream, they will double the country’s current annual production capacity of 60 million tons.
.
Iran exported about 12 million tons of petrochemical products worth some $9 billion from March to December 2014. The country has already announced plans to increase its petrochemical exports to $12 billion this year.
