Which path will Japan take?

.

.
I have tremendous respect for Japan, a nation with no natural resources and yet from the ashes of destruction from WWII has risen up like a great phoenix.

This has been done peacefully since 1945, without involvement in one single foreign aggression.

Japanese corporations rule the world and are household names.....they make great CARS, and there is other Japanese technology.

There are no dark sinister stories about Japan exploiting developing nations. Japan is boundless in its help towards developing nations, without a single political string.

Japan is the biggest investor in China.

Alas as with Germany, corrupting American influence still holds sway over the ruling elite, and the security structure of the country. Based on this fact, there seems at least superficially an unwarranted degree of hostility which has developed with China.....over a few lifeless worthless pieces of rocks in the Pacific.

The USA has a military base in Japan, and security pacts as a result of defeat in WWII, BUT one hopes this great country does not goose step towards hostility against a country which will soon become the natural world leader.

An Asian leader of the world will be good for everybody, including Japan.

Japan tool of US aggression in region: Analyst

By Presstv.com

A British academic says Japan is still controlled by the United States, with Tokyo acting as an agent of US aggression.
.
Rodney Shakespeare told Press TV in an interview Friday, “Japan should look at where its long-term interests are and its long-term interests are in having a peaceful relationship with China and Korea and not being a tool of American aggression.”
.
“Unfortunately Japan is still controlled by the USA and sees its duty to act as an agent of American aggression.”
.
A group of 110 Japanese parliamentarians on Friday paid homage to the Yasukuni Shrine, which honors some 2.5 million people who died in World War II and other conflicts.
.
The war shrine is controversial as former Japanese military leaders, including 14 top war criminals who orchestrated mass atrocities in China and other areas, are believed to be enshrined there.
The governments of China, South Korea and Taiwan have censured the Friday visit.
.
“The Chinese should be angry not once for the Japanese not repenting their atrocities of the past, but because behind this lack of repentance is the pushing of the USA increasingly going into a war stance in that region,” Shakespeare stated.
.
The United States and Japan are strengthening their security coordination in response to a perceived military expansion of China.
.
China’s Defense Ministry Spokesman Yang Yujun said in August that the United States is destabilizing the region by sending more troops, ships, and planes and strengthening its military alliances with regional partners.
