On a PEACE MISSION with Saudi Arabia.

Perhaps a better MO has appeared, why Solemani was assassinated by the USA than my Israeli elections hypothesis.(That still holds in my opinion)

Solemani was in Iraq for the purpose of COMMUNICATING DIRECTLY with Saudi Arabia for PEACE between the two Great nations.

GENERAL Solemani was an emissary of peace, for the Mullah regime, according to high ranking IRAQI officials.

This PEACE MISSION would be a major NO NO for the Israelis and Neocon Americans, as they had invested heavily in Saudi Arabia, and building it up as an enemy of Mullah Iran.

  • Saudi Arabia is important for the Israelis and USA, as it is the country which sponsors $$$$ with other GCC countries ALL SUNNI terrorists, around whom the Israelis and the USA arm, train, direct and lead(use).....in specific theaters based on their special geo-political objectives of fifth column destabilization.
  • The Iran bogeyman threat has been used in the GCC and Saudi Arabia in particular to sell the biggest arms exports deal in American history--$800 billion over 10 years to Saudi Arabia.

By killing Solemani, the USA and Israel prevent PEACE emerging between the two countries IN THE SHORT TERM.

In the long term PEACE between Saudi Arabia and Iran becomes more obviously clear and necessary (from their perspective), after Solemani's assassination.

Soleimani Was in Baghdad on Mission for Saudi Peace

Iraqi PM says Soleimani was supposed to deliver reply to Saudi message

On Thursday night, the US assassinated top Iranian Gen. Qassam Soleimani in a drone strike at Baghdad International Airport. His arrival was actually part of ongoing diplomatic efforts, according to Iraqi PM Adel Abdul-Mahdi.

Soleimani’s visit was related to well-documented Saudi attempts at diplomacy to ease tensions with Iran. The Saudis had dispatched a message of peace to Iran, with Iraq acting as an intermediary. Soleimani was coming to Iraq to deliver the Iranian government’s reply.

The US assassination, then, undercut the peace effort to an enormous level. Iraq was keen to facilitate peace between its two neighbors, hopefully to calm down US threats against Iran. Instead, the US undercut the entire process.

It’s not clear this totally ends the Saudi effort for peace, though it may be difficult for Iran to safely get messengers into Baghdad in the near future, with the US rather openly threatening more assassinations.
