The purpose of such wild allegations is to get more sympathy, and more free weapons for the IDF arsenal. Perhaps even USA action to wage war against another country for some decades, whilst Israel waits in the sidelines......since Israel only fights short, couple of days wars.
The IAEA for 9 years has been rummaging the whole of Iran, with short notice inspections, with the consent of the mullahs.....though one thinks they are also doing dual under cover work for certain Western intelligence organizations. It would be illogical if that were not the case, and one suspects since the mullahs have nothing to hide, they have consented with this fore knowledge.
The American intelligence empire also has quite an effective focus on Iran's WMD's capabilities.......dating back to the 1970's.....and thus reflected in their reports......ditto Russia and China.
The mullahs are puppets brought into power by the USA/UK, and one doubts if the mullahs even if they wanted to, would be allowed to acquire nuclear weapons, given such a capability would make Iran militarily far more potent, and the whole regime far more independent.
FINALLY.......who exactly are the mullahs, and how is mullah Iran run? We can make general perceptive comments without the highly classified Intelligence that Netanyahu is privy to.
Servants often try to please their master with padded reports....as with those around the Rothschilds, British Intelligence and American Intelligence.
Iran is a very corrupt state, far more than the Shah of Iran's puppet state run directly by the CIA, and the most corrupt section of Iranian society ........are the mullahs. Some of the richest men in the country are illiterate mullahs who have somehow amassed billion of $ without the skills of consummate businessmen. Despite being installed by the USA, such people aren't really interested in ideology in the real sense..........their prime objective is legitimacy of the status quo, and to be left alone to loot the state coffers for themselves and their families. Iran despite record oil prices/state revenue since 2006 still manages small GDP growths of 2-3% annually.
We can guess where most of the money goes.........certainly not for building nuke bombs.

Claims Iran 'Six Months' From Nuclear Capability

Making the rounds on the US television media today (appearing on both
Meet the Press and State of the Nation), Israeli Prime Minister
Benjamin Netanyahu furiously
attacked American newspapers for publishing columns critical of his
plans for a war with Iran.
Saying
the columnists had “set a new standard for human stupidity,” Netanyahu
bashed the idea that Iran’s civilian nuclear program was on par with the
Soviet Union’s massive nuclear weapons arsenal, insisting Iran’s
non-existent weapons were far more dangerous.
“They put zealotry above survival, they have suicide bombers all over
the place,” Netanyahu insisted, ignoring that Iran issued religious
fatwas banning suicide bombing decades ago and has not been implicated,
beyond vague and unsubstantiated allegations, in a single suicide bomb
attack in many years.
Netanyahu went on from lying about Iran’s putative suicide bombers to
lying about the civilian nuclear program, claiming Iran was “six
months” away from nuclear weapons capability despite not having
made even a single gram of weapons grade uranium, and warning that if
the US doesn’t act soon it will be “too late.”
